Best Beach Hotels in Doha

Pps: Not far from airport. Has access to private beach, but could do with hourly shuttles or something for that. Nice clean hotel, lovely staff. Complimentary water given. Walk in showers for ease, nice run temperature when entered. Neg: Was there for a stop on birthday trip, and was told to them via email and nothing was done to add to the trip. Might be just a thing in the East but unexpected. Breakfast box was fruits and dates as we had an early check out, i shouldve chose a non-breakfast option (if that was available)

Large rooms and nice bathroom, plenty of storage. The lobby is a little small but overall a decent hotel for the price.

The room was nice and spacious and the cleaners and dell boys are very good. Very clean rooms. I had an issue with my room, they gave us a smaller one to the one on the pictures, but the lady receptionist who looked maybe Chinese was very helpful. The Egyptian and black receptionists were very rude and not accommodating. I found them to be very abrupt and not welcoming. Considering they are the first impression of the hotel and the ones you regularly contact for help this made the stay quite unpleasant. Luckily our car was parked in the basement so we never had to pass them and went straight to the car. We asked for cutlery they said the kitchen was closed. I’ve never experienced this before, then when we ordered a talabat delivery they refused to send in to the room and when we went to reception is was very rude and said I don’t know where it is go ask the dell boy - like he was above the query. Honestly the reception needs to be improved drastically. The only reason I would stay again is because it was cheap, and I was happy with the room.

The hotel is in a great location: not too busy, but close to a shopping center, metro, and beach. The hotel itself is very modern, with spacious rooms, comfortable beds, delicious breakfast, and a well-equipped gym. The staff was friendly and helpful. I also appreciated the clothesline for drying swimsuits in the bathroom. The only things I would suggest improving are installing a soft-closing toilet seat and fixing the ventilation system in the bathroom. We also couldn't figure out how to adjust the air conditioning, and the tap at the vanity is the wrong size. However, these are minor issues that may not bother everyone.

Staying at Crowne Plaza Doha West Bay was a very pleasant experience. The staff was consistently helpful and polite, making sure our needs were met with a smile. The rooms were kept clean and provided a comfortable environment. The central location of the hotel made it convenient for me to access dining options.

A luxurious and clean hotel that provides everything a visitor needs. Free parking is available in the basement in addition to outdoor parking. The staff was friendly and check-in and check-out was quick. It is close to City Center Mall. Tea, kettle and mineral water are available. In addition, a safety box, slippers, bath towels, soap, shampoo, toothpaste and toothbrush, clothes hangers and a prayer rug. The bathroom walls are transparent glass, equipped with curtains that can be raised or lowered. The toilet inside the bathroom has a frosted glass door.

Okay. I’ll start with the positives, or rather, positive. The location is close to every food place you can think of, so if you’re a massive foodie, that is a huge advantage. The main worry with location is that the metro is a bit far off so you can’t necessarily walk to it, unless you’re an avid walker, so your best best would be to take a cab to the metro station. Now, my biggest gripe with this, and it hurts to say, as it is a name brand, but it was dirty. The first room I was given wasn’t even made, as I had to see the remnants of the previous lodgers. I was thankfully given another room almost immediately, but yeah. I wouldn’t say it was the cleanest of hotels so that was my biggest complaint. 2.5/ 5

My wife and I stayed at this hotel in late April-early May. Great location, private beach, spacious apartment-room with a beautiful view of the city or the sea. Overall, everything is great! Important for those who go to the hotel: there are no restaurants or cafes in the hotel (accordingly, it is impossible to buy breakfast for an additional fee), but the presence of a kitchen with an oven, stove, microwave and all the necessary details of a person's everyday life (washing machine, dishwasher) in the room + a huge number of cafes and supermarkets nearby does not create problems with food. Also, upon check-in, a deposit of 1000 QAR is paid for the entire stay, returned after check-out, so you need to be prepared for such expenses from the very beginning:) Otherwise, my best recommendations for accommodation!!!

Really nice hotel. Great views of the city. Only thing is it can get pretty busy on the roads so factor that in when travelling

The hotel in my opinion is very good, despite the fact that it was built in the distant 2000s, but for this money it is quite decent. One of the advantages is that the hotel is on the first line and the beach is a 3-minute walk away, this is great 🔥 a free beach for guests of this hotel, which is very convenient and saves money, they don’t even let you into the paid public beach club with water, they take it away at the entrance and you can easily take food with you here, there are also cafes on the beach with food, drinks, restrooms and changing rooms, umbrellas and sun loungers. The hotel 🏨 has wonderful managers, very friendly and ready to help you with any question 🫶🏼 huge thanks to them 😊 I arrived at 2:00 am 🙄 No problem, they checked me in earlier for an extra fee and even gave me a suite instead of the regular one I ordered !!! which also can't help but please (very nice thank you ❤️), they carried my bags thank you ☺️ Everyone is very friendly absolutely all the staff❤️ The hotel is not freshly renovated keep this in mind, the floors are dirty!!! (But with tips you will have a perfectly cleaned room👌🏼), towels, linens are clean, they changed mine every day👌🏼 the plumbing is also all in good working order and clean. It's quite cool in the room I didn't even use the air conditioner although it's +35 outside There are slippers, I also asked for a robe everything was provided👌🏼 You can get a towel for the beach at the reception. In terms of cuisine, the breakfast is quite decent, keep in mind this is not Turkey, but everything for breakfast is there, omelettes, fruits, vegetables, pastries, tea and coffee, etc. In general, ordinary European breakfasts, that's enough for me, the main thing is delicious 👌🏼😊 I definitely give the hotel 5+ despite everything)), the price-quality ratio and location are better. About Qatar and prices, the prices are crazy for everything, drinks in the hotel cola, juices, etc. It's easier to buy in a store, for example, a can of cola in a store costs 2.5 Reals in a hotel 12.50. Excursions are expensive, especially if you travel alone, the prices are exorbitant. Food in the hotel restaurant is priced basically the same as everywhere else, for example, Caesar salad is 35 reals, burgers, etc. are the same😬 Seafood is expensive 🫰🏼 About clothes (relevant for girls), I read a lot and watched YouTube Qatar did not even bring shorts (of decent length)🤪 only dresses, skirts just below the knee, trousers with closed sleeves, T-shirts) but in principle they wear shorts to the beach here, I think it’s possible, and for a walk around the city (just not mini) in Bermuda shorts, I think no one will look at you askance😊. My appearance did not cause sidelong glances despite the abundance of tattoos on my body, but in appropriate clothing😅 so somehow, Qatar 🇶🇦 is developing far from the UAE 🇦🇪 in their current form (who got there for the first time only after the 2010s) the emirates were not immediately what we see now, even 17 years ago the emirates were still a rather strict country in terms of the appearance of tourists.
