Beach Hotels in Bali

This was one of the best stays we’ve had throughout our family travels. The hotel is very well located, offering beautiful, modern facilities, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment you arrive. The rooms are comfortable and equipped with all the amenities you would expect from a 5-star hotel. The pools are clean, well maintained, and supervised by lifeguards, which gave us great peace of mind travelling with children. The kids’ club truly exceeded our expectations. Our children (aged 4 and 8) constantly asked to go back! There are two different kids’ club areas and a fantastic range of activities including duckling feeding, football, arts and crafts, musical chairs — and their absolute favourite: marshmallows by the beach. There is also a well-maintained and supervised water park, which was a big highlight. We also loved that bikes are available to rent for the whole family, allowing you to ride along the beachfront path past neighbouring hotels. Our only suggestion would be to offer baby seats for bicycles to accommodate younger children. Breakfast was extraordinary — a huge variety of fresh, high-quality options catering to all tastes. Finally, the hotel’s beachfront location is perfect, with several restaurant options nearby. Overall, a truly memorable stay for our family.

Upon arrival, my mum and I were really surprised with the nice front garden . Looks like a real palace! The same view is inside - everything is full of grass, flowers, fountains. The hotel is so big that you can get lost during first days. The beach is well equipped with lots of facilities. However, it was a bit uncomfortable to stay there because of a lot of locals trying to sell you something every 10 minutes. I was really tired of saying “no thank you”. 5star hotel shouldn’t let this happen, it really disturbs from relaxing. The service is really good, every time you need something - they do it immediately. The internet however was really poor, and I couldn’t even call my family because the connection was really slow. One more thing we didn’t like - the breakfast. It didn’t look unique , not for a 5star hotel as well. I have experienced a lot so far, but at Ayodya I was even hungry after breakfast. Average home made breakfast isn’t something you want to have during the luxurious holiday. Sushi was a real “shame”, the pastry wasn’t tasty at all. The rooms were excellent , with balconies. Everyday cleaning was good. Thank you for positive emotions, we will definitely recommend your hotel. Hopefully you will improve your cuisine in the future.

Love this hotel. Service is exceptional and staff cannot do enough for their guests. Cabanas and deck chairs at poolside are easy to get and breakfast is amazing. Pool is huge so plenty of space to relax and enjoy it. Pillows were the ones that sank once you laid on them so they got us new ones that were more solid. This all happened because we were heading to breakfast and customer relations asked us if there was anything they could do to make our stay more comfortable. The service here is impeccable amd we have stayed in alot of hotels accross legian amd swminyak but always spend alot of our stay here..

Highly recommend HR Hotel! This hotel exceeded our expectations. We have stayed in some of the most expensive and luxurious resorts and hotels around the world but this one gives a great mixture of luxury, peaceful, serene all at once. For a family friendly spot, it’s one of the best we’ve stayed at here in Bali. The adults enjoyed it just as much as our 7 year old. We booked the premium two queen room but the amazing Dion at reception upgraded us to the premium king room - pool view as I wanted a nice view and it was perfect for our family as it came with a trundle bed. All the staff are friendly and lovely to deal with, from reception to restaurant, pool and housekeeping. Shout out to Dermika our housekeeper, you’ll see one of the pictures has one of his amazing towel masterpieces. We loved this place so much, we’ve already booked our next holiday staying here again hehe.

Very expensive hotel. Not worth the price you pay. Main Pool closes at....4pm ! ,: reason: they must set up tables for dinner, very strange..You can feel how owner is looking to make money without caring about his guest's needs ! The other 2 pools( far,up the hill) close at 6pm ! Also strange when guests are spending holidays...Check in, never before 1 om ...and check out at 10 am , also very strange when breakfast finishes at 10.30 ! I would never recommend this hotel for its prices ! Even his deck restaurant is selling sunset without sunset at all !!

This was an incredibly frustrating stay, hard to put into words. We booked a cliffside pool view room and even told the front desk at check-in that we wanted to be far from any construction. Yet, they assigned us the room closest to the construction site! We asked to switch rooms, and they gave us a connecting room with a small door, still no pool view. We requested another switch, and at that point, we just wanted any room that wasn't connecting. To our surprise, the room they gave us wasn't even in the cliffside tower; it was in building #2, probably a garden view room. I was physically and mentally exhausted. Trip.com's customer service was excellent, constantly communicating with the hotel, but the hotel clearly didn't care about Chinese guests or Trip.com, showing no response at all. What we booked was completely different from what we actually got, and they kept giving us unsuitable rooms, wasting our time and putting us through so much trouble. In the end, we just couldn't take it anymore and had to accept it. Avoid this place at all costs!

We stayed at this wonderful hotel from March 18th to 29th and absolutely loved it! Great location, excellent and compact grounds, and friendly staff! 😇 We had the ”All-Inclusive. Basic” package, which meant we could visit all restaurants, including the à la carte ones, as well as the coffee shop with its top-notch coffee ☕️, the poolside bar, and the beach bar with its delicious coconuts 🥥 and rum ice cream 🍨😋🤤. I also want to highlight the à la carte restaurant ”Amarta” for its amazing dishes and desserts 🍰😋. As for the beach: there were always free sun loungers and umbrellas available, no matter what time we arrived 🙏, and the ocean here is probably one of the calmest on the entire Nusa Dua coast, as there aren't strong waves! 🌊 On the beach, there's a ”Water Sport” shack where you can find water activities for every taste! With our package, we even got free kayak rides 🛶. The hotel also offers bicycle rentals, which were free for all-inclusive guests. I also want to commend the cleanliness of all hotel staff; they meticulously wiped down the ceiling beams of the beach restaurant daily 😱, it was truly shocking! 👍🆒 I definitely recommend this hotel; it's worth every penny! 😍🥰😘❤️

Stay dates: May 2026 (3 nights) Traveled with: Couple Purpose of trip: Leisure Room type booked: Double Room with Balcony (5th floor ) 1. Location & Accessibility Excellent location. Right on a main street with countless bars and restaurants nearby. Very convenient for walking around the area. It is a busy street, but every street here is busy, so it’s expected. We felt very safe throughout our stay. Motorbike parking available and 24-hour reception. 2. Check-in / Check-out Experience Smooth and efficient for both check-in and check-out. Staff were friendly and helpful — they assisted us with a SIM card issue at reception. 3. Room Quality & Comfort The room was bright, airy, and very clean. We had a balcony on the 5th floor (top floor) overlooking the pool, which had a beautiful view. Housekeeping was excellent — they made up the room every day. Strong air conditioning, comfortable bed, and good lighting. 4. Bathroom Really clean and well-maintained. Toiletries were provided and water bottles were replenished daily. 5. Staff & Service Very friendly and helpful staff. Quick response at reception and good daily housekeeping. 6. Facilities & Amenities The pool was really nice and well-kept. Fast and reliable Wi-Fi. We didn’t try breakfast. Motorbike parking and 24-hour reception were useful. 7. Value for Money Really good value for money. We got a clean, bright room with a great pool-view balcony in a prime location at a fair price. No complaints. 8. Final Thoughts & Recommendation I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to couples or anyone looking for a convenient, comfortable base with a nice pool. Great spot if you want to be close to restaurants and nightlife.

Location: The ocean and beach are just across the road, the shopping center is about a 10-minute walk, and various street food spots are a 3-minute walk away. Room: I had a wonderful Alam villa – a huge space with an endless woven ceiling and a large terrace. The bathroom was uniquely designed: partly indoors and partly open-air. Everything felt very traditionally Balinese: lush greenery, a stone bathtub, and floral green robes. It was cleaned every day. Staff: The staff were incredibly friendly. I forgot my key a couple of times, and they replaced it. In the mornings, they even let me make traditional flower paintings on the water. I initially booked the hotel for a couple of nights but ended up staying for a whole week!

Hotel service: Basically, it‘s very considerate. The reception staff will greet you during the dining process, but suddenly he will enter your room while cleaning the room. I don’t know it because I was in the pool and just forgot to hang a do not disturb sign in the entrance door. Also the staff will regularly calling you, for example, knowing that you are going to check out the next day, he will ask you what arrangements you have on the next day. Also, knew that you booked the spa and they would call you again. But there is a mistake that half of my swimming pool was not filled with water the next day. I didn‘t know how to solve it, so I asked the staff to find someone to deal with it. Then I called a total of three times and saw a worker observing my pool and I was very surprised. Unexpectedly, they didn’t send the staff, that is, the waiter at the front desk, to explain to me that I had made three calls, and my three calls were within half an hour to nine words in total. It was not better than a reasonable time for them to deal with things, although there was no water in the room I rented. It‘s a serious problem. I’m surprised that they don‘t send waiters. It’s because I communicated with that worker. The worker didn‘t know English. He wanted to use a telephone translator to communicate with me. I was just asking him a very simple question, that is, when can I fill up the pool of water? He didn’t seem to understand. I think that since a guest has called three times, he should actually send a staff member. In the end, I saw that the water in the pool was slowly pouring back, but if it was really to the extent of Infinity Pool, I remember that it was after sunset. This is a beautiful thing. Facilities: What surprised me about the facilities is that it has a 24-hour fitness room and a treasure drink. In addition, it has a beach chair with sun umbrellas and a view of the sea by the pool. I appreciate it very much. As for the Spa, I think the price is too expensive. It‘s 10 times different from the price of going out on the street. Food: In terms of food, I really appreciate the different styles of breakfast. Although it is a buffet, every detail will change. One of the selling point of his breakfast that I like is that the color is very colorful. It is really first-class. The nutritional value of the food is very high. It is definitely not an ordinary buffet. There are some cereals, such as oats, dairy, soy milk, and some vegetarians’ favorite sweet potatoes, red bean buns, etc. As for the seaside restaurant, I also tried their pizza and buried beef fillet. The level is qualified. As for the food in the restaurant, I think it‘s full enough. There are also snacks on the first plate, which makes me very surprised. Surprised 酒店服務：基本上非常之貼身無論喺用餐嘅過程喺出入reception職員都會問候你，不過有啲突然係佢會喺清潔房間嘅時候行入你間房而我係唔知道嘅因為我喺出邊泳池只係我忘記掛一個請勿打擾的牌，然後職員會定期打電話給你例如係知道你第二日要退房會問你聽日有啲乜嘢安排？即係交通上嗰啲同埋知道你book咗Spa佢又會打電話嚟提你，但係有樣美中不足就係第二日我個泳池啲水冇咗一半，我唔知點解我就叫職員搵人處理，然後我仲打咗總共三次電話先見到有工人喺度觀察我嘅水池而我好驚訝，佢哋竟然冇派到職員即係前台嘅服務生過嚟同我解釋仲要我係打咗三次電話而我嗰三次電話係總共係喺半個鐘頭至九個字之內打嘅自問都唔係比一個好唔合理嘅時間佢哋處理件事，雖然冇池水呢件事喺我租呢一間房間裏便其實都算係一個幾嚴重嘅問題我話驚訝點解佢哋唔派服務生過嚟？係因為我同嗰個工人溝通嗰個工人原來係唔識英文佢要用電話嘅翻譯器去同我溝通我只不過係問佢好簡單嘅問題就係幾時先可以斟返滿啲池水佢都似乎聽唔明我認為既然個客人已經打咗前後三次電話嚟佢其實應該要派個職員過嚟了解一下件事最後我見到啲池水係慢慢斟滿返，但係要真係針到Infinity Pool嘅程度我記得係日落之後嘅事啦呢件算係美中不足嘅一件事。 設施：設施方面令我驚訝就係佢有廿四小時嘅健身室同埋裏面有寶礦力飲另外就係佢有有太陽傘嘅沙灘椅喺池邊仲可以望住過海呢樣嘢我係非常之欣賞至於Spa我就覺得價錢太過貴啦，根本係同出去大街嘅價錢相差10倍 食物：食物方面我非常欣賞佢早餐會轉唔同嘅款式雖然都係自助餐但係佢每個細節都會有變化而佢嘅早餐有個我好鍾意嘅賣點就係個顏色係非常之色彩繽紛用嚟影相打卡真係一流同埋啲食物個營養價值好高，絕對唔係一般嘅自助餐佢係有一啲穀物啦燕麥啦奶類亦都有豆奶啦，亦都有啲素食人士鍾意嘅番薯呀紅豆包啊等等至於海邊餐廳我亦試咗佢哋嘅pizza同埋牛柳水準係合格的至於餐廳嘅食物我認為係夠飽肚的亦都有附送頭盤小食一點令我非常驚訝
