The hotel was fabulous in that it was clean, spacious, modern, and had a calm business vibe. It is set outside of the main Madrid attractions, which is nice for business travelers. If you are traveling to see the sites, you will need to take an Uber/ taxi, which is about 15-20 minutes per traffic and time of day. It's not bad, but not ideal if you want to walk out from your hotel and be in the action. Apart from location, the front desk staff are super friendly and helpful, the hotel has a modern vibe, and has some cool restaurants located around its vicinity. Im a huge fan of AC hotels now because of this beauty we stayed at in Madrid! Although its kinda far from the attractions, I'd still return and stay at this location again and refer it to future travelers!

It’s a very great resort and people out there is very kind. The restaurant Skybar has a beautiful seaside view. Johanny is very nice and kind to help us check in. Something went wrong with the air conditioner but they help change another room. Very great.

Ok. First off I don't know how anyone could give Marcos and Magdelina anything but 5 stars. They are both fluent in Spanish, English and several other languages which made everything very easy. When I wanted to practice on my Spanish Marcos would speak with me in Spanish and when I wanted to speak in English we spoke in English. If you read the other reviews, some people were confused about where they were and reviewed this place in error. I was traveling solo in the Dominican Republic as a single woman and I was slightly worried before arriving, but the second I walked into the garden late at night to check in - all my fears melted away. The family was sitting having a casual conversation with guests and the kids were playing on the ping pong table. They welcomed me like family. The most gracious couple I have ever met. In addition to being met by Marcos and Magdalena I was also met by a friendly dog which made this feel even more like home. As far as my room went, everything was clean, very spacious, had air conditioning in the bedroom, a mini fridge and some snacks and drinks in the minibar. I settled in immediately. I also ate dinner there every night because the food was so amazing! They have four different menus to choose from, including Dominican food, Caribbean and even Polish food. All of which was absolutely delicious. The service was incredible and it was a true experience that I will never forget. I even got to play air hockey with the kiddos! I almost don't want to write this review because I'm afraid I won't be able to get a reservation when I return next year! Now let's address the fact that this is not an all-inclusive resort. This is a small bed and breakfast that is run by a family. They have a recycle mentality and everything they had is reused and repurposed and I love that vibe. If you are one that wants fancy and luxury or no culture, this probably isn't the place for you. If you're a solo traveler that wants to feel like you're part of a family 1000% recommend. I will return to see them many many times. ♥️

I really liked this hotel. All of the staff was nice, food was decent, and the entertainment was awesome. Learn some Spanish and Stay on the property when visiting the DR this is a poor country and a lot of parts look unsafe. The only complaint is the couch in the villa smelled horrible. Like previous people had went and played in the ocean and came and sat on the couch, however, I did not let management know so I can’t really complain also had trouble getting the tub to work.

My family and I (myself, husband and 5yr old son) stayed at Princess Family Club from June 15-21. When we arrived Nes at the front desk was so kind and welcoming. He handed me a glass of champagne and quickly got us checked in. Much appreciated after a long day of traveling. He did let us know right away that the elevator was out of order, but that they were working on getting it fixed. Pedro, helped us with our bags and let us know that there was a second elevator but it was waaay in the back. It too was out of order when we checked in but it did work the reminder of our stay. We also saw the elevator maintenance company on site everyday so they were trying to address the issue. It did get fixed on our last night so better late than never. The children’s water park with accompanying buffet and bar were amazing to have access too. Breakfast, lunch, snacks, coffee, beer, cocktails on hand until 4pm was a life saver. My personal favorites were the chicken pastelitos. I always made sure to grab as many as I could when they were on offer. I didn’t get the name of woman who was behind the buffet but she was so kind and greeted us everyday with a beautiful smile. Nikole was our favorite waitress! Also, so kind and attentive. At the kids club my little one was not a fan, but that was mostly because he didn’t connect with the other kids (language barrier). He much preferred being in the pool. Thank the good lord for Nancy!!! She was so amazing all week. Everyday when she saw us she made sure to check on us and always made sure our son was good (and me lol). Food: I was pleasantly surprised with the quality. The food is the family club buffet was very tasty and seasoned well. My favorite meal was at El Pescador. The food was cooked to perfection!! My least favorite meals were at El Guacho and Il Tartufo. At El Guacho the empanadas were just okay. I could tell they weren’t freshly made like the pastelitos I had at Mordisco. At Il Tartufo, the gnocchi in pesto was WAY overcooked and the barnzino with mashed potatoes was very salty. The selections at the main buffet, La Hispañola were also tasty and there were many options for everyone in the family. The Ice Cream truck near the main lobby is so cute and the perfect ending to dinner. We had ice cream every night! In the event that you want something off the menu that’s “special” like the ribeye, it will take 45-50 mins because they do not keep it in that particular restaurant. They have to get it from the central kitchen and it can take time to order, receive and cook it. Definitely not mentioned on the menu. If you really want it, my husband recommends calling way ahead. The WiFi is not that strong and that could definitely use some improvement. The signal is great in the lobbies and restaurants but not great in our room. Seeing as how you need the app to make reservations for dinner having strong WiFi in the rooms would be helpful. Stay far far away from anyone in an orange shirt!!!! They are t

This trip was amazing. The resort was beautiful and easy to navigate. The rooms are quite large and the location is isolated and quiet. The beach is beautiful, the food was delicious, the drinks were wonderful. The staff were all really friendly and the service was generally great. There are a lot of vegan and vegetarian options which was great! All the events were really enjoyable and overall it was a really relaxing and memorable vacation! Shout out to the activities director Miki for making our stay extra special!

My husband booked this stay through Costco travel for our 3rd anniversary. It was nothing short of amazing. The weather was perfect for our entire stay. When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted with all smiles from the concierge and front desk clerk. There were 2 glasses of sparkling wine awaiting us as we completed the check in process . Our room wasn't quite ready, so the concierge showed us the property and took us to the lunch buffet. The food was 6/10 for the lunch buffet, but the service was 10/10. There was a young man grilling steaks to order. I wish I remembered his name. He was extremely pleasant in spite of the heat of the grill and guests shouting their orders at him. After lunch, we were able to check into our room. It was beautiful, comfy and clean and a bottle of sparkling wine was awaiting us. Then we met the best person of our stay, our butler STALING. He was always available and sought us out every single day to make sure that we were happy and comfortable. The smallest of requests were filled in a timely manner with a smile the entire time. Staling made sure all of our dinner reservations were set for our time there. I slept through the first night's dinner reservations at the surf and turf restaurant. My husband had tartare and ribeye and gave this restaurant a 7/10 as he was expecting more ”surf”. The following morning, we checked out the breakfast buffet. I'm not big on breakfast, so it was nothing to write home about for me. They had the normal omelette station and quite an assortment of eggs, breads, meat, potatoes, fruit, etc. Once again, the service was 10/10. For lunch, we opted for the pool side grill. The kebabs, burgers and spring rolls were delicious. The only negative was the guy working the grill was not very pleasant. I think it is just because of the language barrier and the heat of the grill. That evening, we had the Italian restaurant for dinner. It was quite delicious and had been our best meal at that point of the stay. My main course was shrimp risotto. My husband's main course was bread beef osumboco (sp?). During the day, there are many activities going on. Some activities included yoga, water cycling, dance lessons, bingo, etc. The hubs and I opted to be beach bums our entire stay. Surprisingly, the sea**** was kept at bay and we enjoyed playing in the mild waves and sleeping in the beach breeze. The beach servers were great about keeping us hydrated with water and libations. My favorite drink at the resort was the mojito. In the evening we had fun enjoying the live dancers in the theater and the singer in the lobby. My husband is not a dancer, so I enjoyed dancing with different members of the entertainment team. On our anniversary, we had the most beautiful display awaiting us after a day at the beach. Great experience overall! Our suite was spotless every day. The housekeepers did a great job! We had lots of room for the for of us to spread out both inside and outside on our oceanfront deck). Wilson and Alexis at the Beach Club were awesome. Great service and always with a smile. Every meal we had was amazing, especially the private dinner in La Cava wine cellar. Stellar service and superb good and wine. (The lobster risotto starter was my favorite dish of this trip! Chef's kiss) The beach was beautiful and my husband and friend said golf at Punta Espada was outstanding. Abby did a wonderful job of coordinating everything for us. We will definitely be back. They've truly earned their Relais & Chateaux status!

Upon arriving at this place, my friend and I were immediately put off by the workers who stared at us instead of offering to help with our luggage—a clear red flag. It only got worse from there. We were shocked to find over fifteen roaches crawling in our beds, on the floor, and even inside our luggage! This was completely unacceptable. The customer service was atrocious. When I brought up our concerns to the receptionist, he had the audacity to suggest we refrain from leaving a review in exchange for unspecified ”privileges.” The bedsheets were stained, the towels were dirty, and the water had a foul odor. It was a nightmare. To add insult to injury, when we voiced our complaints about the roaches, the receptionist brushed us off, claiming we should expect such things in this country. This dismissive attitude was incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional. Thankfully, Starling and Davison from were the only saving grace during our stay—they actually cared and were extremely helpful. In conclusion, I strongly advise against booking with this establishment. The lack of cleanliness, poor customer service, and dismissive attitude towards legitimate complaints made our experience utterly disappointing and frustrating.
