The hotel itself is stunning and perfectly located as it is private but only 10-15 minutes from Bath City Centre. The grounds are fantastic but unfortunately the other reviews are true in the sense the Spa needs a renovation as I find it likely the pool tiles have been the same since reopening in 2007 and you can see it. Nevertheless if You can get a deal it is worth it!

When I arrived on the first day, there were a lot of Chinese people, and as a result, the water temperature at the spa was very cold and the service attitude was very bad. The temperature at the spa returned to normal the next day, and since the Chinese were mostly gone, it was hard not to wonder if the staff was ******. Besides, the check-in time was long, even 20 minutes in line.

I’m pretty sure I left my airpods there and I can see in the “Find My” in my phone that they are still there now! 😭Unfortunately, the reception told me nothing was found.
How can that be? 🥹
And the Wifi in my room is too weak to use. However, anything else is perfect.
How sad am I about my airpods!!! I just can’t believe it!😭😭😭😭😭

We booked a superior garden view deluxe twin room, but the hotel arranged this double bed room for us. We communicated twice and finally contacted Ctrip to call the hotel to solve it. Moreover, the hotel hot spring is not good, so don't consider going there in the near future. The most serious point is: the hotel seems to discriminate against Chinese people. This is definitely the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The hotel is dirty and the rooms have nothing to do with the pictures.
