We had a terrible time to schedule shuttles and get taxis and the staff was rude and unhelpful. When the shuttle we paid for did not arrive - the staff told us we could sleep in the lobby.

Terrible customer service! They were absolutely not helpful at all during my stay and I wish I had stayed somewhere else like the Renaissance Hotel nearby.

Good hotel but spread out over the side of a hill
Excellent hotel great views etc., although we weren't expecting a 5 minute drive up a steep hill to breakfast and the restaurant from our accommodation.

I throughly enjoyed my stay at the Hotel. Check in was very easy, the reception staff were amazing and went out of their way to be helpful. The room was spotless and the veiw outstanding! The area around was peaceful and there are many trails / hiking opportunities. I would highly recommend this Hotel to anyone.

Perfect experience! Everything was amazing! Everyone was smiling and nice! At the pool Bar Achille and Serena were so nice with us and they take care of us all the time! Great experience! Even at the front desk everyone was amazing Great food and perfect room

This complex of hotels, log cabins, restaurant and cycle hire is not part of the Renaissance Tuscany il Ciocco Resort & Spa. Although the entrance to the site from the main road is the same. We were very pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the hotel. The view over to Barga and beyond is lovely. Our room was in the College Hotel, the building opposite Monteceneri Hotel where the reception is located. The room was a good size with a small balcony. Supplied with bottled water, coffee machine (a few pods), a desk and hanging area for clothes. The bed was large and very comfortable (we are very fussy). The bathroom had a shower and toiletries. We walked up the step road every morning for breakfast, very pleasant to listen to the birds and breath in the fresh mountain air. Breakfast was plentiful; fruit juices, coffee, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, pastries, cakes, bread/toast, jams, honey, cheeses, hams, fresh fruit and yoghurt. We ate dinner at the Locanda Alla Posta restaurant twice during our week and enjoyed both meals. Overall we enjoyed our week at Il Ciocco Hotels.
