Baltimore Marriott Inner Harbor at Camden Yards

I attended an event at the hotel the weekend of August 3-7. The entire experience was positive from check in to check out. All staff had good attitudes, were pleasant and accomodating. The facility was clean and the restaurant food was good. The luncheon (our main event) was first class, delicious and plentiful. In all, the weekend was very enjoyable. From Ms Allison, the manager, to Tevin, the bellman, the entire staff is to be commended for their service.

Ctrip's club suites are free to use the club's exclusive lounge, breakfast (6:00-9:30), free Wi-Fi and free parking, you can see that the hotel is old, but the maintenance is not bad; The only thing I was dissatisfied with was that there was a cockroach in the bathroom on the first night of the stay. The clothes on Saturday were good for me on Monday morning (no laundry service on Sunday). As a result, I asked the front desk to wash the clothes on Monday morning. Wash, the fastest can only get at 1 o'clock in the afternoon,
Candlewood Suites Baltimore - Inner Harbor

Candlewood Suites is everything! The appearance of the hotel's exterior and interior was exceptional along with the amenities. The lobby area has incorporated modern furniture and decor, including a nice size, mounted LCD TV.  Near the entrance/lobby area, is 4 washer/4 dryer laundry units. All washer and dryer units appeared to be up to date and fully functional. Candlewood Suites laundry amenity is provided completely free to all current guests at this hotel. The laundry 4 washers and 4 dryer units are freely accessible 24hrs (must use hotel key to access)  however, you must provide your own detergent. It is also adjacent to the gym fitness center.   The guestroom suites are exactly as advertised. The kitchenette and bathroom appliances are up to date and fully functional. The shower and bathroom (adjacent) sink water pressure and the temperature gauge are somewhat temperamental.  The guestroom suites are also roomy and cozy. The kingsize bed along with large textured soft and firm pillows were incredibly comfortable. A nice Samsung model 40inch + TV installed on the bureau for enjoyable pleasure and entertainment.   The hotel staff is professional and they provided every day housekeeping services.  I really enjoyed my stay in the king premium studio suite! It was really cozy.  All appliances and utilities were completely functional. All hotel common areas are immaculately clean. I especially took notice of the maintenance personnel cleaning the entrance, lobby, and elevator floors every day.  All hotel staff was polite, professional, and accomodating.  If you can bypass the moderately sketchy neighborhood and vagabonds, Candlewood Suites is exceptional and conveniently located to many eateries and convenience stores! Highly recommended.

This is probably the single worst motel/hotel I have stayed in my entire life. I arrived early, so I understand some wait. I had to wait more than 2 hours (most hotels I have stayed at do have rooms ready before the listed check-in time). The staff was basically all from fairly to very unfriendly. After waiting for 1 & 1/2 hours I was told one room might be ready. After listening to the client before me state the Wi-Fi was completely inaccessible, I asked them what else I could expect not to work in this room. At this point the manager did an about face and told me I would have to wait another 30 minutes (they were obviously trying to dump me in a completely dysfunctional room). After another 30 minutes I was told the room was on the 3d floor, not the ground floor (I had an injury to my ankle tendon, so it was difficult to walk). When I arrived in the room this is what I found: 1) the door had been busted open repeatedly, so all the locks were loose and had been badly reattached. 2) the faucet fixture was completely loose and wiggly. 3) The hardware in the bathtub to turn the water on and off and regulate hot water was also completely loose and half busted. 4) The toilet seat was loose. 5) On the second day I found a live cockroach in the bathroom. 6) The AC and heating unit was basically impossible to adjust properly to a good temperature and was incredibly noisy when it came on 'automatically' so I had to turn it off. 7) The 'dinette' table attached to the wall was also loose. 8) The only 2 full days (in succession) that I stayed at the property, the front desk locked me out of my room by reprogramming the card keys: not only were there no apologies, but a holier-than-thou arrogant attitude when I complained about their actions. 9) There were innumerable people with significant problems staying at the motel. It almost looked like it was also functioning as a housing location for the destitute and the mentally questionable. On Saturday morning a lady trudged around the 3d and 4th floors, heavily banging and dragging her feet, and every 2-3 seconds emitting very loud lamentations. She did this for about 1 and ½ hours. People had barking dogs at 5 in the morning. There was constant car traffic at all hours of the night. Much door slamming. While some of this might be fully acceptable if it were a charitable organization housing the disadvantaged, to do this as or in combination with a motel, is unacceptable. 10) The cleaning ladies resented cleaning, and basically did nothing and made you feel they had just graciously performed the most difficult and demanding task in the world for just changing the towels. 11) I asked if they gave wake-up calls. The lady at the desk said she didn’t really know who would be there. She then agreed to a certain time in the morning the following day. ***Of course, that call was never made. 12) When given the card keys to enter the room, absolutely no instructions were given for the internet. Overall experience was below par. From carpets that were in dire need of cleaning with obvious neglect, to the fact that ice machines on multiple floors were inoperable and even though I reported the 9th floor ice machine every day for our entire stay, it never functioned. With conference attendance in the 250-450 range daily it seriously impeded our ability to make meeting changes as there was not a single day where all 4 elevators functioned at the same time. On one morning session, I had to wait for 25 minutes to get an elevator to the top floor meeting space. I finally found a back way through the service elevator to get there. Totally unacceptable. I do expect this level of neglect in a flagship property. It was obvious that staff shortage was an issue as well. Finally the pricing in the hotel restaurant was totally out of line with outside establishments. Charging $12 for a bowl of oatmeal or $21 for a pancake breakfast is obscene. Totally underwhelmed by the experience.
Days Inn by Wyndham Baltimore Inner Harbor
3.6/5105 Reviews
The hotel is located in the Inner Harbor, thus practically in Downtown with walking close to many attractions and restaurants. Furthermore, a perfect starting point for a game of Orioles or Ravens, walking not 10 minutes away. The hotel has a parking garage connected, quite expensive, but unfortunately almost alternatively. At check-in there was an electricity failure, even here one reacted extremely helpful after it said it would probably take 2 hours I was already left in the room with a Master Key, a very nice gesture. Otherwise everything is standard, I was as a rare Days Inn guest, but very positively surprised by this location. If you're in Baltimore again.
