A very bad experience! We had reserved two identical rooms for 3 nights with open views of the lake and the volcano. Only one matched our request. The second, certainly a little larger, opened directly onto another building and allowed a view of the lake and volcano through a one meter wide window! We expressed our astonishment and faced with the dismay of the reception staff, we asked to speak to the manager. After a quarter of an hour, 20 minutes, on the phone, he, without letting me speak, clearly told me “if you are not happy, just leave my place!” go away!!!) just obnoxious!! We had to stay because we had planned the excursion to the volcano the next day with a departure at 3:30 in the morning. After the climb, back at the hotel, we tried to get some advice on walks and restaurants nearby. The reception staff, although very nice like all in Bali, were unable to respond! Moreover, with very poor expression and understanding of English. Absolute incompetence, undoubtedly the fruit of management like a manager brilliant in his absence! The icing on the cake... a hundred dead flies littered the floor of the rooms when we arrived and no towels in the dark and smelly bathroom! The only positive point: 2 very beautiful infinity pools offering a superb view of the volcano but... offering 4 deckchairs in total for the ten rooms! A more than disappointing hotel like its manager. We only stayed 2 nights, and we went to a sublime place in Jimbaran "la joya balangan" which we recommend without any reservation.
