The lobby of the hotel is very spacious and the attitude of the staff is very good. I just feel that the room is a bit small. I chose the one that leads directly to the lagoon. It is very convenient to swim and play in the water. I recommend this hotel.

No breakfast. Art hotel decoration on the side of the main road. BGM music is also very good. Downstairs is also convenient for eating, but the noise of motorbikes on the road all night is very noisy, like sleeping on the street. You must book a pool room in advance and you must live in a room that is not along the street. Otherwise it will be noisy all night to sleep

The service and staff were fantastic. I was very impressed with the hotel inclusions, the helpfulness of the staff, the cleanliness of the rooms and resort. The 3 pools were idyllic, the gardens were immaculate. The food was fantastic. I was very impressed with the staff of the resort as I was not well and they took me to a Drs clinic bought me back to the resort and all the staff kept asking me how I was feeling and if I needed anything. They couldn't help me enough. I will definitely return to stay here again. One of my favourite places to stay. Highly recommend.

The hotel location is slightly biased, but the environment is good. There is a swimming pool and spa can be used. We ordered no breakfast. The waiters' attitudes are also very good. Although it is summer, there are no mosquitoes.

Living in Alila, compared to Suli will be better. The only disadvantage is that the distance is a bit remote, but there are not many tourists, and the accommodation experience is very good. Mixed emotions. We stayed for 2 days, and upon check-in it was discovered that there were no inputs in the room. The manager said the problem would be resolved within an hour. Despite the fact that the staff offered to wash by the pool, where the shower is outside in full view of everyone. A couple of hours later, the manager came and said that everything was fine, adjusted the water (it came out black, all the pipes were clogged and had to be flushed). After that we went to dinner and decided to wash ourselves before going to bed. It was my wife's birthday the next day. They also asked to clean the room and replace the towels, because during the setup, everything became dirty. Coming back from dinner, we asked if everything was okay and they answered yes. Arriving at the room, we found that there was no water again. This was very upsetting and we went to find out the situation at the reception, where the girls were sitting and trying to smooth out the situation. After calling the manager, we explained that it is not acceptable to live in a room all day where there is no water, you can’t even go to the toilet because there is nothing to flush it with. Staff again distinguished itself and offered a 1.5 liter bottle of water for flushing. Frustrated, we asked to rent us another hotel. The time was 23:00. Staff said that they called all around and there were no numbers. We offered to rent the hotel where we had lived for the past 2 days. It turned out there was a room for 1 night. And we agreed that we would spend the night there and return the next day. And so it happened! The next day the water problem was resolved. As for the Honemoon suite, it was damp, so there was no need for air conditioning and things got wet. Breakfast is standard. The staff are generally great, except for the manager. I understand that the problem affected the entire hotel, but why put people in when there is no water in the room, why say that everything is fine, and then we discover that there is no water in the room (1 time after brunch, 2 times after dinner). My wife said several times that it was her birthday, that there would be a photo shoot on the next giving day, and she needed clean hair, etc., and this could not be done without water. The manager promised to settle everything, but in the end he couldn’t. And at one point he said, okay, sorry for the situation, I’ll have the cake the next day. It's funny, but even here he didn't do anything. Therefore, in general, I didn’t like the hotel, nor did I like the room, the staff tried, but they had few resources for this. Although they rented a room to spend the night in another hotel. There's a spoonful of honey in the ointment.

The hotel is very well located, but very noisy. A neighboring restaurant/bar that was playing music until 4am. The cleanliness was also to be desired, bathroom with bad odor and in the cloth that is on top of the bed quite dusty.

after we have spent time in the deluxe room pool view. we moved to private villa room, but due to i booked a wrong room type, the staff and the manager kindly helped us to fix our reservation and transaction. i love the room. the environtment, the fresh air, the good view the pool the bathroom and the excellent service also by Nita and Tude. such a perfect accomodation when i need to find a peace and while my best friend need a honeymoon during this pandemic time. i can't wait to spend my time again in Ubud❣

Sumberkima has an excellent Social Media Team because what you see in the pictures is similar to what you get (room-wise). However, what they don’t tell you is how there is absolutely nothing there except the programmes and activities that they run (for a price, of course). Honestly, the villas itself are beautiful. So if you intend to just stay in and chill, it’s probably fine, but i’m not so sure if it’s really worth traveling all the way there for the views as the views were…okay. Moving around the Sumberkima Resort is also a challenge as it is very hilly and the roads are not paved well. They do provide a buggy service that you can call, but again, unless you are doing one of their programmes or activities, there really isn’t much to do or see. The types of people you see there are “influencer” types and seem to belong to the more hip, ‘eat, pray, love’ kind of crowd. So if that’s your thing, then great! TLDR; PROS: - - beautiful villas - great amenities in villa - room service available on request - buggy service responsive and good (can bring you to anywhere in Sumberkima town for free, but the town doesn’t have much. We spent our time going to Alfamart to stock up on instant noodles and snacks) - they have a Whatsapp chat for your villa specifically, so service is good - staff are very helpful and friendly - resort food was pretty good CONS: - it is farrrrrrr (but this could be a good thing too if you really want peace and quiet) - the closest clinic is in the next town (~15 mins by car…i fell violently ill 1 of the days and was concerned about receiving medical care, so i asked the hotel staff) - resort is difficult to get around - many mosquitoes and spiders - resort and area don’t have much facilities unless you do their activities or programmes - if your villa is near the Yoga Chalet, you will hear music from the sessions - you may also hear prayer calls from the Mosques nearby - if you’re more introverted, you may not enjoy the crowd that goes to these places
