Great experience. Recovering in covid world. Would recommend having personal transportation during a stay. Monsoon wing best - suite room excellent. Beach not a beach with no pool available. Can swim at end of jetty if you wish. Everything has a price - all experiences. 200000RP per person park entry.Breakfast was wonderful. Lunch and dinner a let down. Can’t see it reaching the standard suggested by the pricing in the near time- in future who knows? So many positives if you limit the negatives. 2-3 days recommended. All options higher in cost than Kuta / Seminyak region.

The hotel is located in the Western National Park, and there are dead trees everywhere. I thought it was strange. After asking, it turned out that everything starts to grow only in November when the rainy season begins. The hotel service is very good, and the snorkeling at Menjangan Island is also good. You can also go to the adjacent hotel Octagan to experience different meals. The two hotels provide free transfers and share the pier.
The hotel forgot to change the bath towels, which is not satisfactory.

We came for the second time to The Menjangan; this time we stayed in a beach villa. We enjoyed it so much: the quietness, the beauty of nature, and the kindness of the staff: thank you so much! You made us feel so welcome again. We booked a private snorkling tour to Menjangan Island: this was perfect for us. We even had the same guide as last year and he took very good care of us! The food was delicious. You can choose Balines food and also western food: both were delicious. We hope to come back soon for a third time! Suggestion: you can visit the project BIOROCK in the near village. They try to save the corals in a genius way. You can support their beautiful project to preserve the corals.

once you enter the hotel complex you are in a golden cage… There is no real beach (mangrove) and the activities are all paid (and expensive! €120 for 3.5 hours by boat to snorkel, no better than on the edge of the pontoon). You are asked a thousand times during the day for your room number and where you are going and it is very oppressive in the end! Leaving Menjangan is only possible with the hotel car and not by taxi (!!!?) and it will also cost you a lot to go to the nearest village (€20, 6/7 km). Apart from the macaques here, nothing worth the detour….

This is a beautiful hotel in a tropical dry forest (one of the few remaining patches worldwide). The hotel recycles and I hope clients do an effort too, as you can recycle easily using the bins in your room. My only suggestion is having a bin for not recyclable items. I ran in the forest everyday and enjoyed the wildlife. The small bus service is super efficient so I had no trouble moving between the different locations. The WiFi is also excellent. The food was delicious and, most importantly, the staff is kind and helpful. I have lovely memories of my stay.

Fantastic place to stay. Far away from the south Bali chaos, this place is the perfect hideout. We had a beach villa (which is big plus), beautiful room with all necessary luxury. Outside monkeys and deer walk by your villa. Food is delicious and the staff superfriendly and helpful. Beautiful snorkeling tours available near Menjangan island. One of our favorite places in Bali!
