The environment around the hotel and the room facilities are average, not very good.
The car cannot go directly to the hotel, you have to take the hotel shuttle to get there. Google Maps shows that it has arrived, but it actually took a long time to find it. The traffic jams in Bali are very serious and the roads are very narrow, so you must be fully prepared.
The room facilities are also very ordinary, which is still disappointing.

This was our second visit and was just as good. What makes this place so special is the staff. I cannot praise them enough. Jero, Jenny, Arta and manager Landra, and everyone else (sorry dint know their names) are a credit. We stayed in the same one bedroom villa, which was kept spotless with the most comfortable king size bed. They provide bathroom toiletries and tea/coffee in the room. Full size fridge and great air con. They know I can’t walk too far so took us up the hill in their buggy so we could meet our driver, who would call them on our return and they would collect us. It isn’t far to walk to the main road or even Ubud. I just have walking issues. Will be back again next year, and actually booked whilst there. Some people only go to Ubud for a few days but we stay 12 nights, as we love the relaxed, chilled vibe and these villas. Counting the days.

The villa was beautiful - but we did have the biggest one! No need to lock the doors as security is really good. All the staff were wonderful. I thought it would be a problem that cars could not pull up to the gate but their transfer service is so good that it wasn't. The only negative I have is that the food wasn't great. I advise a walk to Zest or to Muni's Warung.

Big thank you to Landra, Arta, Jenny, Jero, and Winda, and all the staff. Very kind and caring people. Santi, the resident cat was there to greet me at check in, and come by during my stay to say hello. Lovely small villa a 30 minute walk from town (yes, some hills) or 10 minutes by grab. The villas were clean, comfortable and very private, and quiet. Located in a small village on edge of Ubud. Breakfast provided was excellent as well as any dinners I ordered. Great recommendation to local restaurant, Vespa. Definitely be returning to enjoy the incredible atmosphere and reconnect with newfound friends. The owner should be very proud of the staff he has assembled.

We cannot say anything bad about our stay at Villa Nirvana. Needless to say they rescued our trip to Ubud. After our first accommodation lost all power and therefore things like AC! The team were able to come to our rescue lastminute.com. Landre (the Manager) and Jenny were amazing. The room was lovely, the pool was amazing. The location is a bit out of town, but it was a nice (sweaty) walk or a short bike ride. We will 100% be back!

STAY HERE it's simply divine. * It's a little off the beaten path, but an easy walk (downhill) to get to town and all the great restaurants and shopping. * The 2 bedroom Villas have their own pool - which offers complete PRIVACY. The outdoor area has a wonderful seating area. * Take advantage of the [outdoor] massages, the pricing is unbelievable and they will book them based on your availability/desired times, not posted hours of operation. *The rooms are huge - and so is the bathroom - part of which is OPEN to nature. * Staff could not be any more pleasant - they are really glad you are there! Please note: We also spent one night at the Ritz Carlton, Bali - and this hotel was hands down the more enjoyable stay of the two. We can't wait to go back!

Amazing. This place is ideal. One bedroom villas was perfect for us with a good size pool. From the moment we arrived, pretty late evening, we were made to feel so welcome. They arranged a taxi to collect us from the airport (and Artur the driver we used the full fortnight as he was also brilliant) and as we arrived he called the villas who sent the buggy to collect us. Quick checkin and show to our villa. The room was a great size with day bed, bathroom/dressing room, and has a large most comfortable bed. The breakfast menu was really good, as was their lunch/dinner menu. It’s located down a quite road without car access but it’s only a short walk to the villas, or if you call they will collect you. There are restaurants within walking distance, and I’m not the best Walker and was easily manageable. Ubud is walkable but we got the taxi driver to take and collect us. £2.50. I cannot recommend this place enough. The villas, location and mostly the staff. They are a credit. Landra, Jero, Jenny, Artur and I’m sorry I cannot remember the other guys but you are all amazing and we will be back. Thank you
