The best experience of Bali and it’s hospitality. From location, to the golf car ride, from the wonderful breakfast, lunch and dinner to the nature, it was experience that left us happy inside. There is free shuttle to the Ubud centre at designated time. Villas themselves are gorgeous, ours was Mountain view and absolutely loved the morning view of Batur volcano. Private Pool and the jacuzzi was fantastic to be active. Food is deliciously served with the top Bali service with smile. Felt always at home with their fine hospitality. Breakfast options are fantastic, though didn’t have lunch, the dinner experience was top notch. High tea was also a good surprise. They helped us with arranging good tour of Ubud and surroundings and the final day we enjoyed the complimentary photo shoot and loved it so much. The attention given to your needs is the best we enjoyed. My wife being a vegetarian, they always remembered to provide the right recommendations (they have a separate vegetarian menu). All in all our stay at “The Samaya, Ubud” was the best decision for 2022. Will always recommend it for stay in Ubud.

Friendly and personable service

We really enjoyed our stay with our 1.5 years old. All the staff are very attentive and friendly! We stayed there for 4 days and we were so relaxed. The resort is very quiet and peaceful. And don’t forget to try their spa!! It was soooooo good!

My husband and I had an amazing stay at The Samaya Ubud. We spent 3 nights at the Ayung Villa and did not want to leave! The villa is very spacious, clean and well maintained – with just the right balance between modern and Balinese style decor. The bathroom is huge and equipped with a private jaccuzi. There is also a 1.8m-deep private swimming pool that is quite large. The hotel consists of a number of villas and they are a fair distance away from the reception area, but a buggy service is provided to transport guests back and forth from their villas. The Samaya Ubud has a beautiful scenery and is centrally located, it is only about 15-minute drive away from local attractions such as the Ubud Monkey Forest and Saraswati Temple. A free shuttle service from the hotel to Ubud Central is provided. The service was impeccable, every single one of the staff that we met during our stay was extremely friendly and helpful. We had informed the hotel that we were visiting Bali to celebrate my birthday / our honeymoon, and they provided us with complimentary wine, decorated our room with flowers, and even surprised me with a cake on my birthday (right after we checked out & just before we left!) We felt very well looked-after throughout our stay here and we could tell that they truly served from the heart. One of the highlights of our stay was the romantic candlelit dinner at the Swept Away restaurant overlooking the Ayung River. The 7-course dinner was delicious, and the staff were very attentive throughout the dinner. We couldn’t finish everything and they helped to pack the remaining food and delivered them to our room. The dinner set up was very beautiful – the staff went above and beyond with the set up, placing 100 candles around the dining area, even at the riverbank! They also kindly helped us take many photos and videos to capture this unforgettable moment. We really loved our stay at The Samaya Ubud, and we are hoping to go back there one day. It is a completely relaxing hotel suitable for vacation! The hotel is in a good location. There are business cars connecting to Ubud Market, where you can shop and eat. The hotel is also located on the riverside, with a panoramic view of the river and terraced fields, and you can also walk along the river; in the morning, I participated in the free rice field hike organized by the hotel team with my children, with explanations. The guide also carried mineral water for all personnel, and the service was very good; the hotel's SPA is excellent and cost-effective, located on the riverside, and the technicians are very good, which impressed me deeply; the hotel's breakfast restaurant has a beautiful landscape and spacious space. It is a à la carte system, the taste is very good, and the choice is rich; the hotel provides many value-added services, including welcome fruits, shuttle buses, hiking and cycling, and free afternoon tea, which can be enjoyed by the riverside or in the room; every waiter has a good attitude and welcomes children. The only thing that can be improved is that because the hotel has been built for a long time, the hygiene of some details can be done better. The swimming pool with the room is 1.8m deep but very clean. The hotel also provides us with adult swimming rings, so that the family can relax and play in the swimming pool every day. In short, it is a perfect holiday choice, and we will come back here again.

The hotel is located in the Ubud mountain forest. Guests can walk to the Ayung River within the hotel, where they can easily enjoy the beautiful scenery by the river and relax in the SPA by the river. The breakfast room has a beautiful view of the rice fields, the Villa has butler service, and the swimming pool is very clean. The hotel also has a free morning walk, which is great. A slight drawback is that the facilities in the room are slightly old, and the sanitary conditions of some facilities still have room for further improvement.

This hotel is in a great location, has good mosquito control, and a deep pool.

The hotel is very good, the service attitude is very good, the breakfast is ordered by yourself, and the freshly made taste is very good. I will go there again if I have the chance.

We upgraded the Villa with Volcanic View for free. The Samaya don't pay more attention to Chinese 🇨🇳 guests than European and American guests. Now, we will pay attention to the personal care and see-off for our restaurant dining and check-out. The communication is more than that of European and American guests. There is a clear difference in the attention and treatment of Chinese people in other luxury resorts that I stayed in next
