Villa Pantai Karang

We stayed here for our second week in Bali having met up with friends from Oz. The place is stunning. If you can, book one of the two Ocean View rooms on the first floor. This is only a small place but what a gem. Our room was large, clean with a very modern and up to date shower, toilet and bath area. Staff were brilliant and the Manageress Krisna was most helpful and friendly. The pool was excellent with fresh towels provided on the beds each morning. By the pool is a door that leads straight onto the beach (look out for local cyclists!) There are some small bars and cafes on the beach where you get buy very reasonably priced breakfasts and cool Bintang beer. We used ‘Crema’ which is connected with the Villa. By taxi or car, the Villa is accessed from a road about 200 metres from the main drag which has numerous good eateries and bars. We ate at the Mona Lisa and Rib Warung Steak. The Indonesian food is excellent and very reasonably priced in all the places. A nice change from UK prices. Change your cash at one of the many authorised dealers. We used one in a supermarket. The room was large and bed was super comfortable The bathroom was huge and very modern The pool and gardens were clean and well maintained The staff very very friendly and helpful The location is ideal easy walk to restaurants, shops and supermarket The villa was very quite and private

This is an update to our review on our 2020 booking. Requested (yet again) last week, them to honour their repeated promise to refund our booking money. Now this was promised by them and we have the emails to prove it! They ignored us again. Be very careful booking here. They, in our experience, take your money, make big promises then disappear. Better booking with a reputable hotel.

Not as nice as the pictures, especially not if you take into account the price. The beach is not that nice. They have laundry service but everything I got back was still dirty. Every day you need to get new vouchers for breakfast (why not all at check in?) The staff is very friendly.

Took a sea view room. Lovely and spacious with an excellent view for sunrise. Nice breakfast on the beach. Easy walking to restaurants and good location halfway along Sanur seafront. Lovely staff, lovely vibe and had a gentle older beach dog who hung out with us a bit. Worth the money for the sea view (which we usually don't do)

What amazing accommodation, I couldn’t have asked for better. Fabulous large pool view villa, comfortable bed, very clean bedding. Large bathroom, bath, twin vanity, huge walk in shower and separate toilet. Very comfortable living space, good TV, cold fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. There’s many power points especially near the bed and a lovely veranda overlooking gorgeous gardens and the pool area.
