It's very good. I don't know why there are so few people. The bedding is very comfortable. The breakfast is delicious and the Chinese service can be delivered to the room. I fell asleep while eating.

I was concerned going into this trip because I had never been to Southeast Asia before. But this resort made the experience very easy. All of the excursions offered through the hotel were great. The place was very clean and kept that way daily. The food was delicious. The resort centrally located. All around great experience

Rooms (villas) are gigantic, beautifully decorated in typical Balinese style, each one has a private pool, in addition to the hotel main pool. Staff is incredibly nice and flexible. The hotel has a restaurant which serves high quality food, from breakfast to dinner. Location is great, a few minutes from downtown Ubud (with a free of charge shuttle service from the hotel), in a very quiet area. Only sound you may hear are the frogs at sunset, and birds. We highly recommend the place.

Hello friends, I had one night stay at De Ubud Villas and Spa for my 2 nights trip. Staffs are friendly and willing to fulfill my requests most of the time. Food was good as well. Probably 5-7 minutes (motobike) from the center of Ubud. Overall, it was a great experience.

Staff were fantastic. They couldn’t do enough for you. From picking us up at Denpasar airport to a chef at villa on night one. They also organised shuttles into Ubud booked quad biking white water rafting coffee tasting and sunrise climb up mount Batur.

This was a nice stay but definitely not a luxury stay. The Java Villa was nice but there wasn’t anything outstanding. The beds were comfortable and the pool was nice but a bit small. There was fruit in a bowl when we arrived but by the next morning it was obvious that an animal had been into the open kitchen and taken a bite out of most of the fruit. This was not dealt with by staff who came to make up the rooms. We eventually put it all in the bin. Staff didn’t even take away coffee cups that were delivered by room service. The resort may have been a luxury resort at some point but it definitely needs some work. The staff were nice but not as friendly or attentive to delay as their website says.

We were well taken care of during our stay. The bed was the most comfortable bed we’ve slept on. The area is really surreal, it was easy to arrange rides, food in the villa, spa treatments, etc. They have turn down service everyday. Everyone there are friendly and easy to talk to. We wished we could stay longer.

Very calm and serene place with lush green surroundings. Staff is very friendly and food is good. We went in the off season so we were the only couple in the villa. The location is in the middle of Ubud and main attractions are located within a radius of 3-5 kms.

De Ubud is so tranquil and relaxing. The villas are extremely spacious and well appointed, but still keeping with the Bali culture. What really sets this place apart is the team. Nothing was ever any trouble and very they took the time to share their experiences with our family. It is a little way out of Ubud centre but the shuttle is there on demand so you have the best of both worlds with the tranquility but also ease of getting into town. We will be back.
