A great hotel with an invincible view, a huge infinity pool, a great diving and kayaking experience, and perfect service. I hope I can stay here for a few more days next time.

The private pool is small, the service is good, the snorkeling is good and fun.

You can really experience the best service. I don't go outside and through the Whats Up app You can eat with only your hands and go out Dine at a restaurant with a view

My husband and I stayed here for just 3 nights whilst travelling around the island. From the minute we arrived to the minute we left we couldn’t fault anything at this fabulous resort. The villas are absolutely beautiful, we stayed in a forest villa.. in the evenings the staff come and do turn down and make sure the mosquito repellents are plugged in and your nets are down to avoid getting bitten at night. The staff are all incredibly kind and cannot do enough for you. The food is amazing with lots of choice at all meal times. We had a special 3 course included in our package which was absolutely delicious and afternoon tea everyday which was served by the pool is a must, it’s so beautifully presented and very tasty. At this resort you are staying in the national park so are really immersed into the natural world so there are lots of mischievous monkeys around at all times, deers and lots of birds but this just adds to it’s beauty . The hotel provide you with a sling shot incase you are not a fan of monkeys but we didn’t need to use it during our stay.. I found them fascinating to watch whilst floating around in the beautiful infinity pool.. we had the best stay and will 100% be returning in the future ♥️ thank you for such a wonderful experience

such a pleasant stay here. the ambience & the luxury vibes combines perfectly with nature.the definition of quite luxury. a happy place to kayaking & snorkeling. the villas are very photogenic & instagramble. the corals are very beautiful. plataran's hospitality always satisfied. Food & beverages best!!!

We came here for the first time in May 2019 and we knew immediatelly we have to come back here. The villas for the guests are more than just comfortable. The furnishing is very tasteful and nothings missing at all. The whole setting is just beautiful in the middle of the West Bali National Park. The staff is helpful and friendly in every way. All in all a perfect place to go on vacation to. Already looking forward to return to Plataran Menjangan.

Very unique experience to stay inside the National forest. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We went on a great snorkeling adventure and nature walk while staying there. Be careful of the monkeys though as they will stalk you if you have food!!

We totally enjoyed A unique resort experience at the Plantaran Menjangan situated in the picturesque West Bali national park. Wonderfully looked after by a very attentive staff, we found the range of activities provided us with plenty of choice. Accommodation in our large villa was outstanding. A perfect way to enjoy this spectacular part of Bali.

We have stayed 3 nights in this hotel. It is not the most modern of all hotels for sure but it is kept in a good condition. The main exception is the road running through the hotel grounds which has seen better days. We have had a Vila in front of the sea but swimming is not possible. At one day we have had the opportunity to watch the monkeys playing, jumping, diving and bathing in front of our villa. The Vila is a traditional Balinese home with an exterior bathroom and toilet which we liked. The restaurants are nice and offer good quality of food. The spa interior is beautiful and I can recommend the treatment (we have had Balinese massage). There are deers all over the place usually eating grass in the gardens in front of the villas. A wonderful experience seeing them so close to us but you wont manage to come near them. There is a big tower build in the middle of the hotel which offers magnificent views of the surrounding national parc. Not far away from this tower there is a spot where the time zones change. Depending on the villa you stay in you could have a Balinese or a Javanese time zone. I must admit that I haven’t had such an experience in the past. It could be tricky though because it separates the hotel grounds in two different time zones and if you are not aware of this you could end missing your breakfast or other activities. On one day the children of the adjacent village came to the hotel and danced for the guests and we are reallly very thankful for their efforts. Watching all those little girls dancing was a real spectacle. The staff of the hotel is very very friendly even if not always well trained. This should not be considered as a minus in any case because they are doing all their best. We have spent a morning snorkelling at the beautiful coral reefs which are located around the Menjangan island which is situated a few kilometres opposite to the hotel between Bali and Java. We also had dinner at the second restaurant which is located in the same grounds but belongs to a different hotel and we have had a nice dinner and a very friendly staff there too. At our departure the hotel offered us a photo of us taken on arrival which was printed on a piece of wood. They have also planted a small mangrove tree on our name which we hope it will grow healthy. Thank you for the wonderful stay and the beautiful nature! I recommend this hotel to everyone who needs a few days of quiet and loves the nature.

This is a great place to stay in Menjangan's beautiful natural surroundings. Deer and monkeys roam freely in front of the room, and the interior of the property is also very nature-friendly. The staff were all really friendly and went out of their way to help. It's a place I would definitely come back to again.

I stayed a week at Plataran Menjangan and loved every minute. I went to celebrate my divorce being finalized, and it was the perfect place to treat myself and begin healing. The staff were amazing, the room was gorgeous, the pool an absolute joy, and the snorkeling was mind blowing. And the food... oh the food!!! So delicious 😋 I can't wait to go back!
