When I booked this villa beforehand I checked directly with management if a TV was available since other motels didn't provide this. The manager said yes. Went to check in and a TV was disconnected. I asked management about this. She then went to say whole of the island has no tv and this was before covid all the tvs were gone. I said then why did you confirm there was tv available when there wasn't. After arguing with me I had to leave the situation as she began to raise her voice and wouldn't listen to me and shout. She then moved us into another room with an actual TV. But this tv didn't work. She then snuck a set top box into our room while we were out and didn't connect anything. My partner and I researched how to connect it and she gave us a box that didn't work at all and she knew this. Other things like the cleanliness was rubbish. Cobwebs on the bathroom, bugs and insects during the night, ants in our chip packet, refrigerator was dirty and dusty not wiped at all. Floor was covered in dust, black things keeps falling from the roof. No room cleaning service; ran out of toilet paper, had to use wet towels for days. Do not waste your money here.

Really enjoyed our stay at Taos House. Beautiful pool with the most relaxing sun loungers if you fancy a chill day. We rented bikes from the owners, we were able to see the whole island..super cheap too! Rooms are clean, spacious, beds are very comfortable best sleep I've had in a while. Would recommend 100% Bike rental ✔ Laundry service ✔ Great location✔ Excellent management ✔ Comfy beds✔ Spacious clean rooms✔ Great location ✔

We stayed here for 2 days and everything exceeded our expectations. The accommodation is beautiful, pool was very clean and our room was big, comfortable and clean. Our Balinese bathroom was great and we didn't have any problems with mosquitoes or insects in the room (mosquito nets were great and wmthe room was cleaned daily). The location is perfect, just a few minutes walk away from Mushroom Bay and close to many warungs/mini markets and walkable distance from devil's tears, sandy bay and dream beach. The family who own the place are wonderful and couldn't do enough to help us. We had a welcome drink when we arrived, they picked us up and dropped us off at the harbours, she also found us bicycles to rent from Mickey's sports bar (R45k each for 24hrs, brand new bikes, perfect for our day exploring Nusa Ceningan). We asked for vegan breakfasts and she kindly made us fruit platters. It was humbling talking to her about how covid has affected their livelihood. We wished we could of stayed longer and were sad to leave. We would highly recommend this lovely gem to stay in!
