The hotel room boasts a unique configuration that immediately catches your attention. Upon entering, a staircase leads to a mezzanine level housing the TV and bed, while the ground floor features a toilet and shower. However, the lack of a cabinet forced me to leave my belongings on the floor, detracting from the practicality of the design. The room has two windows on each side, but despite this, air circulation was poor, resulting in a strong, persistent mould smell. The bed, its linens, and the towels were noticeably odorous—possibly sun-dried remnants from previous guests rather than properly washed, as the stench strongly suggested a lack of thorough cleaning. On the upside, the air conditioning functioned well. The hotel’s location is a highlight—secluded amidst rice fields, it ensures quiet, peaceful nights, though reaching it proved challenging, as noted by other reviewers. Overall, for the price range, it’s a decent choice for a short stay, blending unique charm with some notable drawbacks in hygiene and practicality.
