The Meru Sanur

Is a big & new resorts in Sanur area. Room is big and new. Everything is perfect. Breakfast also many choices. We really like it and definitely be back if we visit Bali again.

The food, the view, the service,.. everything was absolutely perfect

Each year my mom and I go on a mother-daughter trip and this year she spoilt me thoroughly with an 8 night stay at The Meru Sanur. On arrival I was blown away by the sheer scale of the property - the height of the ceilings, the vastness of the foyer, the quality of the materials and an energy you can feel. The landscape architecture and meticulously maintained grounds are a sight to behold. Not only is the property itself magnificent, but there is a special energy that the staff exude. As a guest you can sense that they love where they work, that they really care about doing their jobs to the best of their ability and that they are trained to an exceptionally high standard. It’s clear that this starts at the top, with amazing mentorship and leadership from Ed Brea, Marco, Prima and Rama. These men each handle a high degree of responsibility in their respective roles, responsible for a multitude of staff and the seamless operation of their individual departments. In spite of this, they are so friendly, personable and generous with their time and go out of their way to make guests feel welcomed and cared for. The Meru boasts an impressive number of staff, ensuring that every fine detail is being taken care of at all times. As such, we of course didn’t get to interact with them all individually but would like to make a special mention of the amazing staff who went above and beyond to make our stay so memorable. What an amazing stay we have had at the Meru Sanur. From the moment we arrived and started our vacation the service was truely beyond expectations. We travelled with our family and the staff were so accomodating and we all felt the remembered who we all were at every meal. Two of the team in the restaurant Kadek & Gede were amazing and helped us every morning with coffee and ftesh juice. When we encountered them at other meals they always added to the experience. They made us feel like friends not just guests. The facilities are exceptional and when we wanted a car to take us to Seminyak, reception arranged this for us. The Hotel is new and they are still working on certain areas such as the spa but this did not stop the team providing amazing massages. The spa staff are exceptional. We will be back next year. If this is the service the Meru is going to be providing, you will certainly enjoy if you love attentive staff and amazing facilities.
