We had an awesome stay! There was a grand production for their light show, with almost a theme park attractions except for the rides of course. There was a playground, some walk-through domes and practically the trees and plants were wearing their best suite. We had a blast witnessing everything around us. I have to add that for a moment I was confused where I was. The show was almost like watching America’s Got Talent, some parts were cheerdance competition and a shift to a musical. It was unexpected and it’s spectacular! The room had an old vibe but well-maintained. There’s espresso machine available that I personally enjoyed. I think this is a new addition. It’s convenient and the coffee was good enough. Next day, the breakfast area was setup really beautifully. We had a great experience. The spread was ample and wide-enough. Everything that we tried was udelicious. Even the in-room dining that we had for dinner was commendable. Our requests were promptly carried out too. The checkin and checkout both took a long time than our usual experience but you know the team was doing their best. Still a pleasant service. We couldn’t miss the decors for the season so even for just an overnight stay, we went to Manor like we always do. It turned out to be a memorable and most enjoyable one!

The room was clean and tidy when we first arrived. You can just notice that the place is an old hotel but overall, it’s a good stay. The amenities are incomplete coz they don’t have slippers provided and you need to pay additional if you want to change the sheets and covers and blankets etc. The food is good and we enjoyed it. The CR is also nice but it’s hard to control the heater, you just leave it all to chance. The staffs are helpful and cheerful. The place is accessible to a loooot of scenic views and parks. It is near Rizal Park, Burnham Park, Baguio Night Market, Baguio City Market, City Hall and park, SM City Baguio, Sky Ranch, Baguio Cathedral, Session Road, Pink Sisters Convent, Foam Coffee, and Cafe by the ruins (famous coffee shops seen in TikTok).

Great experience! Staff are awesome What would make this an excellent rating? 1. Improve Internet connection in room 3B3. Experienced intermittent connection especially when attended an online meeting 2. Cignal goes to standy mode for 2 consecutive days around 2am 3. Revisit policies of early check in and late check out. Those these were requested with short notice, A. Arrived at the hotel around 5:30am but check in still happened at 3pm. B. Extended online work meeting but late check out was declined.

Service was good overall, although there are things left to be improved. Room was comfy but for some reason, the fan is slow, which matters since there is no air conditioning. Breakfast is good, too. Location is walkable from SM and Session, which is good. A bit of noise from the construction site nearby and Baguio cathedral bells but nothing disturbing about it. It's a good budget hotel. One thing though, when we got to the hotel, the staff said they are not affiliated with Trip.com so our booking was rerouted to Agoda/Expedia, which was weird. We had to call Trip.com customer support to check.

The location is really great. Very close to Burnham Park, City Market, GoodTaste Restaurant, Puregold, Watsons, and other food kiosks. They don’t have air-conditioner but there are fans available. They allow pets (500 per pet per night). The view is great too.

The second time I came to Baguio, this hotel is cheap and clean. It is a good choice for travel. The security guard in front of the store is also very enthusiastic. In short, I will book this hotel again when I come back next year.

The room is nice and the breakfast is very good. The atmosphere of the restaurant is similar to that of a European manor. It is best to book a room with a balcony. The balcony faces the mountain and the scenery is beautiful. I will stay here again next time

GGuest UserIt's our third time in this place and we were in a good room location for this visit. That gave us a very peaceful sleep during the night. And as always, cleanliness and friendliness of staff is present that is why we come back. Appreciate that we were allowed to check-in an hour earlier. Thank you!

GGuest UserAn enjoyable stay, staff were all friendly, room was comfortable with nice garden view. Buffet breakfast is plentiful and tasty. Location is good, away from the noisy downtown area and close to some sights such as Wright Park and Mines View. Only negative is that the hotel was always very busy with people and they could be heard from the room at night

MMJBHWhenever we go to Baguio, we always stay at Forest Lodge. Why do we keep coming back? Because they will always make you feel at home. Sometimes unexpected situations come up and that’s the time you will actually witness what cuts this hotel above the rest. I was recently diagnosed with asthma and since I wasn’t aware of all my triggers, I didn’t know that the fumes and the delicious smell from the kitchen would worsen my condition. Our rooms were close to the kitchen and I kept coughing so hard that my husband called the nurse. The manager (Neil Dominic), the nurse and the bellboy came to my rescue. They transferred us to a different floor in just a few minutes. The nurse checked my oxygen and even bought me my prescribed meds from the drugstore to make me feel better. After that, I was getting well already and yet, the manager and the nurse kept checking on us. They also told us that there is a standby shuttle ready to take us to the nearest hospital anytime. They delivered service beyond my expectations in such a short time. Our whole family feels we are really safe and well-taken cared of whenever we are there. Because of this, I will always call Forest Lodge my home in Baguio. Thank you so much for taking care of us during our stay there this Jan 2024. We look forward to seeing you soon.

AAnonymous UserWe recently stayed here to celebrate my son's 2nd birth day and truly enjoyed the experience! The entire place has the aesthetics we were looking for—cozy, modern, and very well put together. The mountain view is superb, and the unit itself is super clean and comfy. It also comes with complete utensils and cooking materials, which made meal prep very convenient. We appreciated the small touches like the provided shampoo, conditioner, and free black coffee. Wi-fi also provided and there is a smart tv. However, we did encounter a slight issue during check-in. Although check-in starts at 2:00 PM, we arrived at 2:30 PM and still had to wait for an hour. According to the guard, there was no endorsement prepared by the host, which caused the delay. It was a bit of an inconvenience after a long trip from manila with my toddler, but thankfully, everything else about the stay made up for it. One thing to note is that the place is a bit far from the city center, so we had to take a taxi every time we visited tourist attractions. This might be a downside for travelers who prefer more central accommodations. Overall, it was a great stay and we would still recommend it—just hoping the check-in process can be smoother next time, and for future guests to consider the location depending on their itinerary.

IiamERICA0326Our stay was great! It's not walking distance to the tourist spots but all of them are within the area and hailing a taxi is not a problem at all. We also prefer not to walk 😅 But if preferred, it's possible as everything is near the area! We tried their heated pool while it rained, and we really enjoyed it! Such an experience with a cold weather in Baguio! The breakfast buffet is awesome! We love everything and their menu differs per day! The original flavor taho, strawberry and ube are such a delight! I think the only missing is cereals. First time to eat strawberry champorado! 😁 At first I was hesitant if the room will have a fast wifi for me to work. Viola! The room as a router! I was able to work with ease! We love the smart TV -- you only need to sign in your own Netflix account. We love our room view. We don't have to go to SM to see the Baguio city lights.. we already have it in the room. We have a balcony overseeing the pool area as well! We so love our room! 😍 Only thing is maybe they should add another desk or longer desk. The TV is already in the table and there is no separate desk for laptop or if you are having snacks/dinner. We asked, but they don't have a spare table. I think they can also add another chair since the room is good for two. There's only one chair in the room but when we requested for it, they were able to provide. Our room also allowed us to feel the breeze of Baguio! We can turn-off the AC and open the windows protected by mosquito net! I was just amazed with this feature! We truly appreciate their prompt service whenever we call the reception. We don't need to call for follow-up! We love them! We love that there is a bathtub and hoping they can also provide bath robes for a perfect bath! 🙏 Truly, we love to be back to SotoGrande whenever in Baguio! 🫶 Thank you SotoGrande for an awesome experience!

KKSD31We recently stayed at this hotel, and overall, it was a good experience. The hotel itself is clean and well-maintained, with friendly and helpful staff who made our stay pleasant. The room was also clean and comfortable, especially the bathroom it was spotless, with no signs of prior use or any foul smells. However, the lack of an exhaust fan meant that any odors stayed trapped inside. Additionally, the room had no windows that could be opened for fresh air circulation. While there was an air conditioner, it still felt like the air wasn’t circulating well. Breakfast was just okay nothing special. The selection was quite limited, so you’re left with only what’s available. Compared to Elizabeth Hotel, which is more affordable and offers a more appetizing breakfast buffet with a wider variety, this was a bit of a letdown. As for amenities, the hotel offers a jacuzzi and a heated pool, which is great in theory. However, their location in the middle of a restaurant makes it awkward to use since you’ll likely have an audience while swimming. We also tried the Japanese restaurant on the mezzanine level. The food was good and affordable, but the sashimi was cut too thick about an inch which made it difficult to eat. Despite these minor inconveniences, I highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional cleanliness. If cleanliness is a top priority for you, this hotel is a great choice!

GGuest UserThis hotel has some good points: 1. Great buffet bfast with a variety of food selections. I like their dried fish, omelette, langgonisa, coffee, breads, fruits. But noticed they did not serve bananas. Staff looks attentive to the needs of guests. 2. Have greats restos and shops nearby. Also near the CJH Conference area. 3. Has ample parking and nice garden plus heated pool. However this hotel also needs improvement on the following areas: 1. Front desk looks like they are not coordinated. Made separate booking for three nights via Agoda and Trip.com and informed the hotel about this arrangement. However, after our first night, front desk asked us if we are extending our stay. Worst, they deactivated our key cards so we have to go down again to have them activated again which caused some inconvenience. 2. Toilet has a foul odor so called housekeeping who took some time to attend to us. They told us what to do to avoid the foul smell but some unpleasant smell still remained so reported this to the team leader who sent their engineering to check. The hotel staff told us they will return but never did. So problem was not solved. 3. Requested for late checkout since our trip back to Manila was still at 2pm. However, front desk cannot commit and said will require approval. We followed up and got no positive feedback. Called team leader and made complaints about issues 1-3 and had our request accepted. 4. Very difficult to book a taxi or grab and the guards said because of too many guests or tourists. But it’s a pity that such an expensive hotel also has no shuttles service. We booked this hotel because it’s near the conference area but disappointed because we felt we didn’t get the value and services we were expecting. Anyway, thanks to the great staff.

GGuest UserEnjoyed again our stay at The Plaza Lodge. Also stayed here last year for our annual retreat. Generally, services are okay including the lobby, cafe, room, bfast buffet and their value-for-money shuttle service. However, the bathroom area (of room 611) needs to be fixed since water is accumulating on the floor and this is a potential hazard and cause of accident because of stagnant water on the floor. Mgt shd fix this right away. Thanks.

GGuest UserI thought I had booked the newer hotel, but when I got there, there were two hotels, the Hotel Supreme, old and new (not so new). We got there around 10 pm and felt hungry. There's no open store or restaurant nearby, but luckily, there's available grab food delivery. The Hotel looks old and dark, but the area is clean. The room is suitable for two people, but the lighting is dark. It's clean, and the price is right. I requested an additional bed since another person would stay for one night; I paid 500 pesos. There is a complimentary breakfast for two, and you must pay 200 for an extra person. My other friend stayed only for one night, which I mentioned to the helpdesk. When I called the helpdesk, I requested to pull out of the bed and told her that my friend would not stay anymore and was unsure if they would charge us (another 500 for an extra bed) for another night if they did not pull it out. The helpdesk told me that we would need to pay since the checkout was only at noon. They should have informed us if this is the protocol for additional beds. What if the bed will stay in our room for four days? I will be charged 2000 pesos since the extra bed has yet to be pulled out. Anyway, it was a good stay. The service crews are approachable, and they clean the room every day.
