Hotels near JR Hotaka station, Azumino

About 3-4 minutes walk from Toyoshina Station on the Oito Line. It's located behind the station, and the narrow roads are complicated, so it's hard to find if you're driving for the first time. However, once you get the hang of it, it's not that complicated since you're on the national highway right after you cross the railroad crossing. Well, it's a normal route in, but this one also has rooms on the first floor. The first floor is crowded with people and can be uncomfortable, so if possible, it might be better to choose a room on the second floor or higher. There seem to be many small shops around the station, such as restaurants. Suburban stores and shopping centers line the road that runs from the station line to Azumino IC, so if you're driving, I think it's better to go there. Alternatively, the in-house tavern is open in the evenings, so you can easily use that as well. Also, there is a plan for staying without meals, but the price was the same as the one that included breakfast. What's more, even though you're staying without meals, they give you a breakfast coupon when you check in. I said, ``I don't need it because I'll be leaving early,'' but I guess it's probably the same either way from the other side. After returning from the mountain, I stayed one more night at Toppingishi, and at that time my single reservation had been upgraded to a double room. Since it was a Friday, the number of business travelers would have decreased, and most of the climbers would have already entered the mountain, so there would have been plenty of room.

Although the hotel is old, it is generally clean. There are many parking spaces in the parking lot, suitable for self-driving. The breakfast provided by the hotel is cooked with its own crops and is very delicious. The hotel staff can speak simple English and there is not much difficulty in communication.

Once you get to the rotary at Matsumoto Station, you can arrive within 2 minutes, and breakfast is available until 9:30, so if you arrive late, it will be empty and you can eat slowly and thoroughly. I made a business reservation on short notice, and it was cheap, so I'm a candidate to use it again. Also, by chance, they were holding a lottery to commemorate the company's founding, and even though they didn't win, they received a small bottle of local sake. I was lucky.

It's a small but beautiful hotel with a very good location. It's opposite Matsumoto Station. It's super convenient for shopping and eating. It's also very convenient to walk to Matsumoto Castle and the restaurant has a very good view👍.

We wanted to treat ourselves for an anniversary so booked in for a night. It is not cheap - we paid SGD 770 for the night, but it was a good experience all the way from check in to check out. The price includes dinner, which was plated beautifully and featured items like lobster sashimi, beef stew and bracken tempura. Breakfast was done buffet style and had both Japanese and Weatern dishes. There are onsens as well. We opted to pay 3000 yen for a private couple onsen for 45 minutes, but there are also public baths on the 4th floor. The bath on the 3rd floor, just off reception, switches between males in the morning and the ladies in the evening. The room was largish and I loved that the yukatas came in a variety of sizes. There is no room clean up till check out, but they do lay futon beds in the room. The room was well appointed and had a great view, small fridge, a safe, and coffee and tea making facilities. There was even a coffee bean grinder. There were ample power points. Wifi was okay though it did drop now and then. There are separate toilet and shower rooms. There is a souvenir cum general store in the lobby where you can even buy condensed milk ice cream. Staff are friendly and efficient. They do have a free shuttle bus from 5 pm at the Matsumoto train station to the hotel, and one the following morning at 9 am and 10 am back to the station.

It was close to both the train station and the bus terminal, all the interiors were newly remodeled, all appliances were clean like new, and the bathroom faucet, shower, and carpet were perfect. And even though it was next to the road, it was well soundproofed so I could hardly hear the car. Very good value for money and the staff was very friendly and nice. I also have intention to use it. Strong recommendation. And it was a card key, not a key that is not often seen in Matsumoto, so it was convenient and very nice to go outside.

There was a banquet at the facility and stayed at the dog cottage with a dog (toy poodle). The cooking set was perfect and it was the best to do even a slow BBQ. ”Don't feed wild monkeys”, ”Attention to monkeys and bears”, etc., are wild environments. I also witnessed giant foxes and foxes. It is a little .... that bed making is self. I was also worried that it was too close to the next building. There was a free ticket for the public bath in this building, but it was too early to end at 21:30, and it was 10:00 ～ (check out at 10 o'clock) in the morning, and I want you to do something more.

I walked from Kita Matsumoto Station to the hotel. ７ minutes? It is a walk arrival. The woman at the front desk had a smile and there was no unpleasant impression. The room was a room with Matsumoto Jo castle on the top floor. Especially at night Matsumoto Jo castle was the best and clean. The room size is a bit small, but I think it is reasonable to think of the price. The public bath is the feeling that it is said to be a small bath. ５ people are full if they enter. Moreover, there was no corona countermeasure at all. It is a breakfast restaurant, but it uses tong in the form of Viking, but the corona countermeasure is halfway and it is not possible. Use of disposable gloves for decadac and finger disinfection at the entrance properly. I didn't use several sets of disposable gloves. The employee doesn't know the face. In addition, there are couples who do not have a mask and are surprised. I think it is better to use care on the hygiene side because it is such a time. Dinner was surprisingly close to Matsumoto station.

the staff at the front desk and the staff at the dining room were really kind and cozy. i'll tell you the following. １． The next morning of the stay, when I tell the front desk to leave by an early train, I'll call the dining room. I changed the breakfast time from 7:30 to 7:00. Thank you. ２． I wanted to put salt on the table in the dining room. I didn't have two cups of tea bowls, and I wanted to increase a little more. ３． I stayed in a twin room on the 2 floor, but the step with the bathroom was large I wanted to write a note. ４． The morning bath was from 6 o'clock, but it was not 6 o'clock, and the door in the hallway on the way to the bath was not opened. Can't you open it before 6 o'clock? Waiting until it opens is lonely. On the other hand, the entrance door of the dining room was open before 7 o'clock.

Less than 5 minutes walk from JR station, my moderate twin room is very spacious and comes with a work desk. Beddings are very comfortable and plenty of amenities are provided. They even have complimentary supper service at night. We didn't get to try the breakfast but they look great with a lot of varieties. This is a great place to stay in Matsumoto.
