This old convent is located almost opposite the train station and is excellent choice for those arriving by public transport (less when you come by car). It is an old convent and the rooms are quite strangely divided over floors and courtyards. The rooms have all the basics and are spacious enough. As is the bed, though I only got a single sheet which was also rather small and warm. The shower is hot and the lights are okay. You need those as the windows in my room were not all too large. The hotel decoration is plain and simple. Staff is okay though they may get some hospitality-update training. Breakfast is okay, though not surprising, with sufficient choices for people with allergenic reactions. In fact this is a decent hotel to further explore Augsburg and to not spend too much time in your room.

Ich war eine Nacht in einem Einzelzimmer untergebracht, das neben an von 2 Aufzügen lag. Zum einen rauschten die Heizungsrohre im Zimmer dermaßen laut, das habe ich schon sehr lange nicht mehr so erlebt. Zum anderen stand ich morgens um 6 Uhr senkrecht im Bett, weil schon einige Reisende den Aufzug bedienten. Ich fühlte mich wie gerädert. Dazu kam dann das schlechte Frühstück in einem völlig unmodernen, viel zu grellen Frühstücksraum. Einen ähnlichen Charme versprühte auch das Einzelzimmer, das ich als "Krankenzimmer mit Holzfußboden" beschreiben würde. Nie wieder!

Die Zimmer sind sehr klein, insbesondere das Badezimmer, hier hatte man kaum Platz sich zu bewegen. Dennoch war alles sauber und besonders hervorzuheben ist das kostenlose Wasser, das man fast auf jeder Etage erhält. Das Hotel bzw. die Zimmer erinnern doch noch sehr stark an ein Krankenhaus. Trotz der zentralen Lage aber ziemlich ruhig und ich habe es aufgrund der geringen Nähe zum Hauptbahnhof gebucht. In die Innenstadt braucht man ca. 10-15min zu Fuß. Für eine Nacht vollkommen in Ordnung.

Das Zimmer 209 kostete 80 Euro, 15 fürs Frühstück zusätzlich. Es war sauber, zweckdienlich, gegen den Garten/Innenhof gerichtet, aber sehr klein, direkt unangenehm klein war das Badzimmer. Um die Toilette zu nutzen, musste ich zwischen Tür und Duschkabine direkt ein wenig zirkeln. Zimmer- und Flurtür schlossen von selbst, erst langsam, dann mit einem Wumms, der vom Zimmer aus gut zu hören war. Man kann online ein- und auschecken, aber vermutlich kommen die meisten nicht ganz damit zurecht, so dass man an der Rezeption oft warten muss. Der Frühstücksraum erninnert an ein Tagungszentrum, die Tische sind meist zusammengerückt wie für grössere Gruppen, etwas ungemütlich. Die Auswahl ist o.k., die Bedienung sehr freundlich.

Struttura all'interno dell'ospedale di Augsburg; ristrutturato e estremamente efficiente. Reception cordiale e collaborativa. La posizione è centrale, a dieci minuti a piedi dal centro. Parcheggio coperto a pagamento (euro 6 al giorno). ottima la colazione. Esiste anche il ristorante, ma la cucina chiude alle ore 17,30. La stanza era luminosa. Nel complesso ottima sistemazione.
