There are limited accommodation options in the area. We thought that at $325 per night this place seemed expensive but decided that it must be exceptional. We were very disappointed! The whole complex is very tired and rundown. The individual cottages are supposed to be rustic and may have been nice 20 years ago. For the price overall facilities were not up to standard. They offered a self serve breakfast which was minimal for the price. Shower was difficult to maintain a constant temperature. Lounge furniture was tired, grubby and uncomfortable. The venue offers a conference and events service. Perhaps if fully booked for such a function it may operate better. Whole property needs a makeover and may be better suited for a summer stay rather than a mid winter one. Only redeeming feature was the log burner fire. Lovely on a cold winter night.

The cup is dirty, the dirtiest in the New Zealand hotel I have ever stayed in, the facilities are very good, one room and an outdoor hot spring, this facility is 3 people 175 NZD, which is very cost-effective in New Zealand. Because Parakai belongs to the hot spring area, the natural hot spring is really very comfortable. Self check-in and check-out are common in New Zealand, but very unfortunate, the wifi is broken, Ctrip is very responsible, constantly contacting the hotel (because there is no one in the office), and finally refunded me 100 yuan, like one. Recommended to stay, but it is recommended to bring your own cups and other utensils.

There are often no staff in the office, so if you are not there, you will have to make a mobile phone at the door. The room is not large, but it has the worst ones. It was good that the bathroom was large. Speaking of which, is there a place where the towels are stiff and the light bulbs in the room are out? After that, the internet was slow and the time 々 was interrupted. The heated pool in the room was wider than I expected, so I was able to enjoy it slowly. This is recommended for people if you care about the details. There is a supermarket right next to it, and the parking lot can be stayed by the room, so I think it is good for families.

In the month of January, myself and my friends stayed at the luxurious Sudima Hotel located in Auckland city. We had a warm welcome by the staff at the reception and each and everyone of them were happy to help in anyway possible. We were shown to our room by a kind hearted staff member on the 6th floor and WOW what an amazing view it had of the harbour bridge along with the city buildings. As for the room, it was very modern and well set up. The bathroom was perfect with ammenities provided. The beds were extra comfortable and the tv had a wide range of movies to select from. Whilst we were enjoying the view from the window, we were surprised with a welcome hamper consisting of vegan friendly snacks, refreshing coconut water along with skincare items such as face masks, shower bombs and sleep balms. This was a very thoughtful surprise and indeed we enjoyed it. We had a free breakfast at the East eats restaurant with a range of food to select from and it was amazing. All the food is vegan friendly and very delicious. The lobby has a lot of seating for anyone to enjoy. The beautiful architecture catches ones eye. Very modernised and unique in its own way. Definitely a place to stay! We would like to say a big Thank you to all the staff that helped us have a wonderful stay at the hotel. We definitely will be back. Stayed at Lylo for 3-4 days and it’s probably the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at. You check in on a device however there is a receptionist near in case you need anything. The design is amazing as well as the communal rooms/work spaces, it’s very new and renovated at the moment so it looks really great. There’s free wifi, a communal kitchen and bathrooms on each floor. There’s also a restaurant and bar, you get a card for one free drink too! I stayed in a private room and shared bathroom, the floor was super clean and quiet. The room itself was cute and tidy, we were missing a few things such as a rubbish bin (didn’t know the rooms came with one until we saw someone else on our floor with one). I think it would’ve of been nice if the room came with a television or a safe, however the room was great for the price so can’t complain too much :) location is central and easy access to everything within the city.

I would like to say thank you for your hospitality. We stayed 3 nights in this hotel. Our studio room was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Great service from Harshna. She is amazing! Thank you ! We are looking forward to be back again soon!

Overall, it was pretty good and very cost effective. Helpful staff. • Luggage storage room available. Laundry service avail on site (4 bucks for washing machine, 4 bucks for dryer & 2 bucks for washing powder), Ironing service was free of charge. • Toothbrush & Toothpaste were available upon purchase @ the reception. Hot water, box fan, kettle, small fridge, tea, coffee, sugar, clean towel, soap, shampoo were all avail. The first two nights I stayed, I had to use a shared bathroom, however, it was very clean. After that I extended my stay where I was moved to another room which included a bathroom. Also, perfect location as it is situated on the busiest street in the city centre where you'll find a lot of restaurants & shops nearby even supermarkets. * The down part was that it gets very noisy at night, you could hear the traffic & people on the street screaming. Plus, the mattress wasn't in its best shape.

You get what you pay for and this hotel was the best deal in town when I visited, short of staying in a hostel. Great location close to the train and the Arena. The hot water in the shower was powerful and plentiful, and so was the wifi, the two top things I look for in a room. However there are no frills. There is no shelf in the shower, meaning you have to lay your soap, shampoo, razor and anything else you take in there on the floor. There is no plug for the bathroom sink. There is one small metal writing desk and that is the only surface to lay things on, no drawers or dressers or bedside tables. The walls are thin and a couple of nights my noisy neighbors woke me up. Bring earplugs. I found the staff efficient and mildly friendly if you put in the effort to make them feel good. Having said that, I'd absolutely stay again. The price, the shower, the location and the wifi make this an excellent low cost option for staying in the city

Totally disappointed in our two night stay here. This premise also goes under the name 'Auckland Airport Kiwi Hotel' and Auckland Airport Kiwi Backpackers', the Backpackers has now been turned into what is called 'Premier studio apartments'.'. When we arrived the lady at reception stated that she had only debited our card for the first night, we were to pay for our second night when checking out. Our 'Premier Studio Apartment' was clearly an ex backpacker room, our lawn view was 2 mtrs of unmown grass which looked straight into the rooms across from us. The room was clean enough but extremely under equipped. We had booked for 3 people, we had 2 towels, 2 facecloths, no hand towel, no tea towel or dish cloth. After the 3rd ask for these items we finally received two extra facecloths to be used as a tea towel and dishcloth, eww! The kitchen had 1 fork, 1 teaspoon, 3 knives and large spoons, 1 glass, no wine glasses. Odd cups and plates of various sizes. There was a microwave and hotplates but no other utensils at all besides the bits and pieces mentioned. No Ice tray. No coathangers. The bathroom light flickered constantly, there was rubbish under the beds, and on further inspection, the fire alarm did not contain a battery. (illegal) On checking out was told that our account had been settled. Inspection of bank account showed that our 2nd night had been deducted two hours after we had checked in and an extra $4.50 had been taken. Asked on their chat window (which is how we booked our stay due to no one answering the phone, ever) and was emailed back, them stating that this extra cost was due to paying by Visa. No mention of this throughout our booking or on their website. Would not stay here again.

All you need after a long day’s travelling. Quiet clean and relaxing. Staff couldn’t do enough to help, my room was super spacious and had good black out curtains witch was a must after travelling from the uk suffering with jet lag! Would recommend to anyone travelling to nz
