The room is not clean, no service at all. The washing machine is leaking, stove not working, limited cooking utensil. Odd sound for the whole night, TV not working. Even reporting all the problems, nobody handle it.

One bedroom apartment was a definite good option. Washer in apartment was a bonus to travel light with lesser apparels. Hotel was close to transport. Night view of tower is good!

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, close to major attractions.

The location of Barclay Suites is great, although the area is currently under road work construction out front. The reception staff were very friendly and accommodating to any of our queries and needs. The two bedroom, two bathroom suite was very convenient to have on our travels. It is a great offering not many of the other hotels have. The cleanliness was not up to par, however, as there was multiple stained furniture pieces, pillow cases along with debris, dirt, and dust present throughout the unit. Unit could use a very good thorough cleaning to bring it up to standard. Further, the two in one washer dryer is not very good. Made our whites grey, and did not dry properly. The cycles are hours, some 4 hours plus long, so it’s not really efficient or useable at all.

It was a convenient location at center of town and close to many restaurants and stores. The space is comfortable and the views are spectacular. The service and amenities are kind of minimal for the price.

Nice location, very close to CBD. Rooms had all facilities needed. Breakfast in coffee place next to the hotel had sufficient choice, portions ok!

Great for a short Auckland stay. Construction going on on roads outside but minimal disruptions.

My 2nd to this place. Can’t think of a better place to stay in Auckland walking distance from tower, queens street, Albert park. So enjoyed the proximity. The rooms are big and spacious and kept clean.

It was a pleasant stay at the Barclay Suites. Room is clean and comfortable. Downside, there are construction sites around making navigation a little confusing. Overall highly recommend to stay there. Good for family. Even better for solo travellers that are loaded🤣

Well equipped, good location. However there was construction going on around the area during my stay so may be a bit inconvenient in terms of accessibility. No noise could be heard though.

The location is perfect to move around to the City. The receptionist is very friendly. The room is clean and spacious.
