My husband and I stayed in VR hotel for 7 nights. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Front desk staff Thea who attended to us on the day of our check-in was friendly and helpful. What I like best about the hotel is it has a small well equipped kitchen. There's a microwave, a stove, an oven, a dish washing machine, a fridge and a washing machine. However the washing machine was broken but it was ok as the hotel will wash and dry your clothes free of charge. The location of the hotel is good with many restaurants around. The sky tower is just a short walk away. This hotel allows me to live like a New Zealander, buying provisions and cooking my own meals.👍

Very spacious, bigger room than expected, very friendly staff helping with finding a rental car, a mot of ueseful equipment like a washing machine and powder but sometimes it is slightly damaged (shower door not fully closing) or could be cleanlier (sinks), however the important things like bed and blanketd were comfy and clean and i would definitely go again

The room is roomy with many amenities including a mini kitchen, dish watcher and laundry machine (include packages of clothing detergent). The room is very well soundproofed. Will stay again in the future.

Plenty of space in my apartment/room. Good equipment if needed (I wasn't using the kitchen, washing machine, etc on my short stay...). Clean and tidy, good comfortable armchairs - I was able to relax and read, a desk AND a separate dining table is good. The decor is a bit tired, but clean and tidy. Staff on reception were friendly and helpful. Excellent location for what I needed in the Auckland CBD area.

Very spacious room with a relatively good price. Had a small kitchen with sufficient cooking utensils you can use to cook dinner as well as a washing-drying machine.

Good location, it’s close to Sky Tower. I didn’t expect the flat to be this big 🤭 I was alone and there were 2 bedrooms, big living room with a kitchen, a bathroom and a balcony. It’s fully equipped - dishwasher, clothes washing machine, etc. I only stayed one night there but I think it’s good for a longer stay. The reception was nice but I felt uneasy when they asked to photocopy my credit card. I rather pay a deposit than give someone to photocopy my credit card.
