Great place - hotel location is first class and could not be better - breakfast was superb and the staff very friendly and helpful. Nothing a problem for Simone on the front desk; she was fantastic and very friendly and informative - she even came to the car, told me where to park and then carried my bag when I went off to park - could not het better than that. Great town matched by a great hotel with superb staff - thank you.

We loved this hotel in Ascona. It has very attentive staff, they are very friendly, rooms are comfortable, there is a modern pool. Breakfast on the terrace was very nice. So it's really good value for money.

Wir waren für ein WE in Ascona. Das La Meridiana liegt direkt am See an der Uferpromenade. Man kann also in Ascona alles zu Fuss erreichen. Zur Bushaltestelle sind es je nach Gangart 5-10 Gehminuten. Für An- bzw. Abreise kann man mit dem Auto durch die Fussgängerzone ans Hotel fahren. Bei Abreisen am Sonntag kann das erhöhte Aufmerksamkeit und Geduld erfordern. Die Zimmer waren schön und ausreichend gross. Am schönsten sind natürlich die mit Seeblick. Das Frühstück war gut wenn auch nicht aussergewöhnlich. Sehr cool ist der SPA Bereich im Keller. Für ein Hotel dieser Grösse in dieser Lage eine absolute Ausnahme. Ich persönlich fand es schade, dass die wundervolle Terrasse recht ungenutzt, bleibt. Wahrscheinlich gibt es Gründe dafür. Wir hatten uns einmal aus dem Hauskühlschrank bedient um abends dort noch etwas zu trinken. Die Auswahl war jedoch klein und ich hätte etwas vorab kaufen sollen. Grundsätzlich war es aber die richtige Wahl und wir können das La Meridiana empfehlen.

Wir haben 2 Nächte hier verbracht und waren mehr als zufrieden. Angestellte waren ausserordentlich freundlich und zuvorkommend, Zimmer waren sauber, Frühstück war völlig ausreichend und die Lage ist natürlich der Oberhammer. Direkt an der Promenade gelegen mit Seesicht, vom (doch eher kleinen) Balkon aus. ACHTUNG: Es ist eine Frühstückspension, mehr auch nicht. Wer hier also eine Bar, bedientes Restaurant oder sonst was erwartet, ist hier falsch! Deswegen vorher informieren, anstatt was völlig anderes erwarten und dann schlecht zu bewerten! Pool war ok, ist aber leider im UG ohne Fenster. Massageliegen etc hat es, muss man aber für zahlen. Gratis Velos gibts ebenfalls zum benutzen und E-Bikes gegen Aufpreis. Unser Zimmer war mit einer Klimaanlaage ausgestattet. Terasse war ebenfalls richtig schön, leider durch die vielen Wespen in diesem Jahr beinahe unbenutzbar. Fazit: Exzellente Lage, tolles Hotel mit Charme. Für ein Hotel Garni hat es alles was es verspricht, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Bijzonder fijn en vriendelijk hotel aan de boulevard van Ascona. Qua locatie absoluut top “the million dollar view’ over het lago maggiore. De kamers zijn netjes en comfortabel. Ontbijtbuffet met lokale specialiteiten. Uiterst vriendelijk receptie-personeel, we werden zelfs geholpen met het uit- en inpakken van de dakkoffer. We komen hier graag terug!

Ich habe eine Nacht in einem Einzelzimmer mit Blick (Dachfenster) auf den See verbracht. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, das Zimmer sauber und gemütlich und das Früstücksbuffet ausgewogen. Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt. Direkt an der Seepromenade. Das Zimmer war sauber und gemütlich, modern eingerichtet. Einziger Nachteil an Zimmern im Dachgeschoss: die Wärme. Obwohl es erst April ist, war das Zimmer am Abend durch die Sonne aufgeheizt. Und liess sich nur schlecht durch das offenen Fenster runterkühlen.
