First , one building is in front the lake , two others are not . We stayed at one at the back which has been the smallest ever room we have been . Two people cannot even fit in the bathroom . Then we moved to another room bigger with view but , the first one with Netflix , the second no Netflix . The first one without bathroom extractor the second with an extractor that never stops . We informed about it but never was solved . The AC works depend... if the weather changes you need to wait until the best day when the maintenance adjust it . The second room very noisy . They have sound proof window but with gaps - check picture - and the double door from the terrace cannot close becoz they have placed a huge heavy pot in front. Shower leaks . First room bed with 1.60 width , impossible to sleep Second 1.80 we could sleep :) If u have a front lake view U will enjoy but if U have a light sleep you won't enjoy . Choose ! View or sleep :) By the way the smallest handbasin I have ver seen Don't expect someone to help you with the luggage and rooms wzout phone. So is more a Swatch than a Rolex :):)

Amazing location just off the waterfront. Rooms were nice, our was a little dark, but kids one was much lighter. Parking is a 4 min walk away and is covered and looked secured. Breakfast was good and relaxed and there are quite a few places around to eat.

Ich habe meinen Aufenthalt im Vista Lake rundum genossen. Das Hotel ist sehr gepflegt, stilvoll eingerichtet und bietet eine angenehme Atmosphäre zum Wohlfühlen. Besonders positiv ist mir der freundliche und zuvorkommende Service aufgefallen – das gesamte Personal war stets hilfsbereit und herzlich. Mein Zimmer war modern, sauber und sehr komfortabel genau das, was man sich nach einem langen Tag wünscht. Auch das Frühstück war ein Highlight: Frisch, vielfältig und mit Liebe zubereitet. Die Lage des Hotels ist ideal, sowohl für Sightseeing als auch zum Entspannen. Ich kann das Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Besuch!

Das Hotel ist sauber, die Zimmer sind gemütlich eingerichtet und das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Leider können wir das Hotel trotzdem nicht weiterempfehlen. Die Lärmbelästigung in einigen Zimmern, bis in die frühen Morgenstunden, durch eine Bar in der Nähe, ist riesig. An Schlaf vor 2 Uhr morgens ist nicht zu denken. Wenn man sich auf das Ferienende freuen muss und nach den Ferien erschöpfter ist als vor den Ferien, dann stimmt etwas nicht. Es gibt in diesem Hotel auch Zimmer, in welchen es sich wunderbar schlafen lässt. Im letzten Jahr hatten wir auch 2 Zimmer gebucht. In einem war es ruhig und im anderen konnte man nicht schlafen, ohne den Lärm mit dem Fernseher oder Musik zu übertönen. Daher hatten wir bei der diesjährigen Buchung nach zwei ruhigen Zimmer gefragt. Leider haben wir jedoch wieder das selbe Zimmer mit enormer Lärmbelästigung erhalten. Daher können wir dieses Hotel nicht wieder berücksichtigen. Schade!

Wir waren im hinteren, renovierten Haus des Hotels. Alles recht neu, super Matratzen, sehr sauber und vor allem ein super aufgestelltes und sehr freundliches Team im ganzen Hotel und Restaurant. Beim nicht günstigen Essen würde ich allerdings etwas abstriche machen, war nicht schlecht aber es gibt besseres!

Der Empfang befindet sich im al Piazza an der Promenade, ca. 250 m vom Hotel entfernt. Der Empfang ist freundlich und das Personal sehr hilfreich. Das Hotel selbst liegt etwas zurückgesetzt und daher seh ruhig - eine Gasse weiter. Das Zimmer (Nr.1) sehrt nett eingerichtet, gute Betten und für kürzere Aufenthalte genügend Schränke. Klimaanlage zum runterkühlen geeignet, nachts zieht es über die Betten. Das Badehzimmer sehr klein, aber die Dusche ist ok. Licht im Bad mehr oder weniger unbrauchbar. Schwaches W-Lan. Frühstück im al Piazza sehr vielseitig, gute Qualität Käse und kaltes Fleisch. Wir würden bei einem weiteren Besuch in Ascona wieder buchen.
