Una decepción total!! Cuidado con la fotos bonitas que tienen publicadas no coinciden con la realidad. Las habitaciones no corresponden a un hotel de 4 estrellas solo se salvan los espacios comunes del hotel. Este hotel se merece una reforma URGENTE de habitaciones.
No funciona bien el agua caliente difícil de nivelar y cuando te duchas se sale el agua. Tienen un nevera vieja que hace mucho ruido y por la noche no te deja dormir. Lo que pensé que sería una estancia placentera en un hotel de 4 estrellas se convirtió en una decepción total.

Just opposite the monastery you find this small and cozy boutique hotel with a nice patio in the center. Rooms are in general small and it is a pity that a rather big bathtub occupies too much space in the rooms. It should ne removed giving place to a decent bathroom. Buffet breakfast that can be eaten in the patio is very good.

Lovely hotel with rooms set around inner patios and garden. Spacious room with comfortable beds, a view over the city and a separate, closed toilet/shower (perfect for two people getting ready at the same time). Excellent breakfast buffet with fresh fruit and eggs cooked to order; a varied take-out breakfast was provided at no extra cost when we left early in the morning. The pool/whirlpool are in a space of their own adjoining a steam bath, and we did two hot/cold/steam circuits in an hour! The restaurant was a delightful surprise, food was so good that we had most of our meals there, sometimes so we could have the same dish again! Staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and responsive to all our needs.

This is a lovely hotel, based in an old building with rooms round a courtyard. The route to my bedroom was not straightforward, however, and the bathroom in my room was quite small. There is no lift. Breakfast is in the courtyard. There is a restaurant on site, excellent food the night I ate there.

This is a beautiful hotel with lots of wonderful features and situated in a great location. The staff were excellent and very hardworking and nothing was too much trouble for them. The massage ladies in the Spa were fabulous. The only reason I have given it 4* instead of 5* is because I got salmonella food poisoning from the chicken goujon meal we had in the restaurant on our last evening - ended up with me having to be hospitalised and on an IV line for 3 days. Please check your kitchen procedures as I don’t want anyone else to have to deal with this situation as it pretty much wiped me out for the rest of my trip including Machu Picchu which is a great shame.

A medieval building with conserved masonry. The pool is like a roman bath. Nice courtyards on the ground floors as well as on the upper floors. The main entrance looks like a castle. Love the decors. Our triple bed rooms had balconies with El Misti views.

I stayed at La Hosteria for 1 night when in Arequipa with my wife, infant son and father. The Hotel has a rustic charm to it and the room we got was quite nice. The location is also very good in the historic center of Arequipa. However, there were multiple cats in the common areas in the hotel which triggered a strong reaction of cat allergy. If this wasn't enough we also got an unwanted wakeup call at 3 am from reception that woke up our infant son and totally ruined the night.
