The hotel is very new, looks chic and is well located. The service was very friendly and helpful; we had a tour that started at 3:00 a.m. and the reception staff has offered active take-away breakfast bags at the check-in. They were also at the reception at 3 p.m. for us. Unfortunately we had no hot water in the washing venue in the morning and the water was not running properly.
This hotel is in an excellent location on a quiet street in Arequipa, a close walk to major attractions. The tented 'lobby' and public spaces are beautiful, with gorgeous antiques, wall adornments, metal sculptures and a lovely ambiance. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but very standard, with nothing that would remotely qualify for a five star rating by Peru standards. The staff are helpful, and friendly, although efficiency is sometimes an issue. During our stay the fumes from new paint in our room (or at least we hope it was paint and not something else) were quite unbearable, but our short stay didn't warrant requesting a move - so we had to keep the window open at all times. Because repairs were being made to AC units on sections of the building, we would find a man on the roof right outside our window at select times, making for poor privacy. These were minor problems, and we found the stay mostly quite comfortable. The restaurant on site has very good food and breakfast is relatively extensive by Peru standards.
Very nice, cosy and spacious room, well working bathroom with hot shower. Professional service, especially the manager Lucia who went beyond expectations for our family. Very good and filling breakfast. Very nice backyard for hanging around and kitchen available for guests. It's quite loud with music and parties all evening (throughout our stay of 4 nights). They were usually quieter after 10:30pm. However, we were advised to take a little bit different room to accommodate us further from the noise. So overall great experience for the price.

The hotel was absolutely perfect in every way! So spotlessly clean, super comfortable bed and pillows, amazing shower, great supply of shampoo, soap and conditioner, laundry service. Included in the very reasonable price is a superb breakfast with many choices of main and endless supply of coffee, tea as well as fruit, juice, bread and sweets. The staff was so friendly, accommodating, professional and available 24 hours a day. Situated in a very quiet neighbourhood with a wonderful view from the restaurant windows. I would not hesitate to totally recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Arequipa. Definitely 5 stars!
Although there are no elevators in the hotel, which requires the travel to move their suitcase themselves, the excellent service by the staff can compensate it. The staffs are friendly and willing to help.
This hotel is great, the location in the plaza de arms makes it perfect for sight-seeing. There are no cars allowed so cannot be dropped out directly outside, but the hotel have an amazing team member called Roberto who ferried out cases back and forth for us. We also had an issue with one of the cases being damaged and again the hotel team went out of their way to try and help make it good for us, as we still had a lot of travelling to do. Our room was lovely we were at the top of the hotel so a partial view of the cathedral. The roof top pool was also an amazing extra and again the view was superb. The team at this hotel really made it for us they were welcoming, friendly and went above and beyond to help us out.
From the moment we arrived, the staff were amazing! We travel quite a bit and can honestly say Jose and Sandra along with each and every other staff member was incredible. The lobby is really beautiful and welcoming, the stairs, hallways and lounge areas are very clean, comfortable and updated in design. The bedroom was perfect (okay, the toilet area could have been a little larger) The bed was so comfy, they offer 2 types of pillows, the sheets were like new, the view was mesmerizing. We both highly recommend this hotel if you ever find yourself in this very nice town.

AAddi13The Villa Elisa is an absolute haven of tranquility a short 10 minute walk from the busy centre of Arequipa. My husband I stayed here for 4 nights with a trip to Colca Canyon in the middle. The breakfast was the best that we had in Peru. A wide selection of of top quality ingredients with a plentiful supply of coffee and teas. Such a delight to have breakfast and watch the humming birds in the garden. Our ground floor room had a small patio area where us was lovely to rest after a busy day exploring Arequipa and there were also seats around the garden to take advantage of the sun and shade. The outside area enhanced by a perfect small pool. The rooms were very comfortable with plenty of hot water, fluffy towels, hair dryer and most importantly of all a very comfortable bed. We had an overnight trip to Colca Canyon in the middle of our stay and the hotel were happy for us to leave our things in pour room until we returned and also provided a breakfast bag for us as we had an early start. Whilst the hotel is beautiful, what really makes the Villa Elisa stand out is it’s staff. They go out of their way to ensure that your stay with them is perfect. We would definitely recommend a stay at Villa Elisa
MMiraViajero Arequipa is an amazing hostel with a great atmosphere and perfect location. The highlight of my stay was the wonderful staff, especially Gauddy. Her kindness, warmth, and helpfulness made me feel right at home. Thank you for such a great experience!
WwangyanbingPerfect location, a few minutes from the central Plaza. Quick walk to a large variety of restaurants. We arrived early, so our room wasn't yet ready, but we wandered around town for a few hours and the woman at the front desk texted us when the room was ready. All the front desk people were very helpful in recommending restaurants -- we planned to try the hotel restaurant but it doesn't open until 7 and we were always too hungry to wait. A few things to know: there's no air conditioning in the rooms and it got very hot when the sun beat through the windows in the afternoon. Fortunately it cools off considerably at night. Also there was a loud bar/disco close by because there was loud music playing until about midnight. The location and price were perfect, so I would be happy to stay here again.
GGuest User1⃣️ Service: Stayed for four days, the front desk and the staff who made breakfast in the morning were very enthusiastic, the service I needed was satisfied, the meal that was not finished outside at noon, the microwave oven was borrowed at night, the pizza that was not finished in the morning, and a bag was needed to be packed away. They were very enthusiastic and responded to my request.
2⃣️ Network: WiFi computer is OK, mobile phone is too slow, I feel that this is a common problem in Peru
3⃣️ Location: In the most prosperous place in the city, there are many barber shops 💈, gourmet shops, very close to the weapons square and very convenient
4⃣️ Experience of living: It was very quiet at 10 pm, the hotel decoration was very modern, there was free water, hot water, coffee, local tea downstairs can be self-service, if you work, the table is a bit high
Considering the price, overall it is still worth it
The hotel is in an excellent location, across from Santa Catalina Monastery. Beautiful stonework throughout the ground floor of the hotel. The room I was in had a balcony with an excellent view of the Misty Volcano. Hotel staff were very nice and attentive. Special thanks to Pamela and Larry.
