I had the most wonderful stay at the Crowne Plaza Changbaishan! The room was exceptionally spacious and impeccably clean, which immediately made us feel comfortable. The staff were incredibly considerate and attentive, always ensuring that every need was met promptly. A special thank you to 邹明 and 小张 for going above and beyond to make our stay even more memorable. Although tickets to Changbaishan were sold out they we’re able to secure some in arrangements to great experience going above and beyond  The hot springs were absolutely amazing—so relaxing and rejuvenating. We also indulged in the massages, which were top-notch and truly relaxing. The breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of options that catered to every taste. Overall, the service, amenities, and atmosphere made this an unforgettable experience. We’re already looking forward to our next visit! Yu Lingshan provided very good service and helped to book tours and cars, which was very convenient. The hotel also provided breakfast. Although the main meal was at our own expense, we ate there twice and both were very delicious.

The room is clean, the facilities are complete, the breakfast is rich, there are many hot spring pools, and fruit plates and essential oil soaps are given as gifts. The experience is good and it is well received!

In the small town of Erdaobaihe, it is only about ten minutes' drive from Changbaishan Railway Station. The hotel mainly caters to tourist groups. It has its own parking lot and the lobby on the first floor is quite bright. However, the room facilities are relatively old, so it is not that demanding to have a rest. The hotel also has its own indoor hot spring, which is usually given to hotel guests as a gift, but I feel that the hygiene of the bathing and showering environment needs to be improved. In addition, there are various Northeastern souvenir shops next to the hotel. You can mail them back after buying them. The most difficult thing to describe was the breakfast. There was no Western pastries, but a lot of hot stir-fried vegetables. Anyway, I am not in the habit of eating stir-fried vegetables in the morning, so I just had a bowl of millet porridge and eggs. Goodbye, Erdao Baihe!

The standard room I booked for a trip to Changbai Mountain is located in the Erdaobaihe factory area. It is about 4 kilometers to the north slope of Changbai Mountain, and you can get there by taxi for 14 yuan. Hotels here are more expensive during the peak tourist season. Most 3-star chain hotels in the same period cost between 500-700 yuan. I booked a special room for 380 yuan, which originally did not include breakfast. However, the hotel manager was very enthusiastic and gave me breakfast and hot spring bath, as well as ginseng soap as a souvenir. The room is very warm and large, and there is hair on the bottle of hand soap in the bathroom. It may not be suitable for guests with high hygiene requirements, because the bathroom hygiene is average, and the bedding is hygienic and comfortable. I didn't eat the breakfast and didn't comment on it. The hot spring bath is very unique. In the cold winter of minus 20 degrees, the outdoor hot spring is a very special experience. Overall, it is very cost-effective and the experience is very special.

Exceptional Stay in Changbaishan – Highly Recommended! I recently stayed at a hotel in Changbaishan, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. From start to finish, everything was managed exceptionally well, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience. The hotel is beautifully maintained, with rooms that are both comfortable and impeccably clean. One of the standout features was the outdoor onsen—an absolutely amazing place to unwind amidst the serene natural surroundings. The decoration in front of hotel with rows and rows of cute snowmen are also very lovely, we took plenty of photos there. Additionally, the free transportation services were incredibly efficient, including a convenient shuttle service to and from the train station and free transfers to the ski site. The staff were all friendly and helpful, even though communication was sometimes challenging as we don’t speak Mandarin. A special shoutout to Ms. Zhang Yong Ping 张永评 (WeChat: Xin Xin 鑫鑫), the guest manager from the front desk department, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was flawless. Ms. Zhang provided us with outstanding butler service and demonstrated exceptional kindness, professionalism, and hospitality. She helped us navigate the complexities of buying tickets and traveling to Changbaishan, ensured we boarded the correct buses, and even made sure we didn’t miss any important connections. Due to high season, we couldn’t secure a room in Building 3 for our second night and had to reserve rooms in Building 2 via an online platform. Ms. Zhang kindly and proactively made arrangements so we could stay in Building 3 throughout our visit—a thoughtful gesture that made a huge difference. Every aspect of our stay was well taken care of, and the staff’s dedication to providing excellent service truly stood out. Thanks to Ms. Zhang and the entire hotel team, our time in Changbaishan was a wonderful experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. We’re grateful for the warm hospitality and look forward to returning in the future!

The check-in experience was very good! The hotel called to make an appointment for the high-speed rail station pick-up one day in advance. The driver Wang Yan was very enthusiastic to help with the luggage. On the way to the hotel, he took us through the Genting Market and the Merganser Park. He introduced these two attractions to us in advance, so that we didn't even have to make a guide! In the next few days, we said we wanted to go to the Edelweiss Park, and he sent us there for free; we said we wanted to go ice fishing, and he also picked us up for free. He enthusiastically helped us make an appointment for the car to go to Xueling! When we arrived at the hotel, both the concierge who opened the door and the front desk who checked in were polite! The room is very large, the bathroom and toilet are separated, and there is a bathtub that children like! There are also super large floor-to-ceiling windows, and the snowman army outside the window is unobstructed! The hotel has a large back garden with a lot of snow and piles very high, so children can play in the snow without leaving the house. In the morning, there are twos and threes of alpacas jumping in the snow, and you can go to the front desk to get carrots for free to feed them! Erdaobai River passes through the hotel. Through the corridor to the opposite side of the river is the hotel's hot spring area, which has several hot springs of different sizes, and there is also a popular iron pot stew, which is really unique in style! The hotel's breakfast is Cantonese style, with siu mai, xiaolongbao, steamed spare ribs, steamed chicken feet, fried rice noodles, etc. There are not many varieties, but it is very friendly to us Cantonese people! Lunch and dinner can be solved in the hotel's Shaojiu tube, the product is very good, special roast chicken, special braised butterfly fish, Northeast pig-killing dishes, Rensen pigeon soup, fresh lamb skewers and many other choices. We stayed for four nights and had dinner here every night. The dishes we ordered were different every night, and the taste was great! Chef Qin is very nice. He gave us some extra free dishes every night, from Changbai Mountain wild vegetables to peanuts for drinking, and he gave them away at hand! I have stayed in many five-star hotels, and so far Erdaobaihe is the one I am most satisfied with in Zhihe!

The room is large, clean and hygienic, the trees outside the window are shaded, and the living is very comfortable! There are many Korean food around, as well as pharmacies, it is too convenient to buy things and eat. Go to the North Scenic Area for ten minutes, the parking downstairs is spacious and free. The landlord is warm and meticulously guided, and the stay is simple and convenient. Highly recommended!

Going south and north, the most comfortable stay in the homestay I have ever stayed in The facilities and supplies that can be thought of are all complete, especially in the kitchen. Although I was busy playing and didn't use it, I felt very comfortable and clean when I went in. I arrived a little earlier. The landlord was cleaning up. The first impression of this place was good. It was highly recommended.
