GGuest UserThe hotel's VIP mountain access service was incredibly convenient. On August 17th, we departed from the hotel at 9 AM, walked to the Old Mountain Gate, had our tickets checked, and entered the scenic area. A quick 30-minute bus ride brought us to the Heavenly Lake transfer point. We only waited a few minutes in the VIP lane before boarding the shuttle bus to Heavenly Lake. We were moved to Hotel Building 3, and the amenities there were excellent. The breakfast spread was exceptionally generous, and they offered several types of hot spring pools. Even in summer, soaking in them was very relaxing and enjoyable. Definitely worth the price!

Our experience at this hotel was absolutely wonderful! As two foreign girls traveling on our own, I was initially a bit nervous that things might be difficult or uncomfortable but everything exceeded our expectations.
We visited at the end of March for a weekend getaway, mainly to see the lake and explore the surrounding area. From the moment we arrived by train, the hotel staff went above and beyond meeting us at the station after we coordinated smoothly with them via WeChat. Their kindness and helpfulness made us feel completely at ease from the start.
They were always attentive to our needs and even assisted us in booking tickets for the nearby natural park, which was incredibly helpful as I wasn’t familiar with the system. We stayed in the Cozy Queen Room, which was very spacious, clean, and well laid out. It had all the amenities we needed, and the heating worked perfectly, important since it was still a bit chilly during our stay.
The hotel’s location couldn’t be better. It’s just a short walk from the main street, where you’ll find plenty of restaurants and shops. It’s also quite close to the entrance of the natural park and the reindeer park. On our first day, we walked to the reindeer park in about 30 minutes, and the walk itself was beautiful, passing by a lake with wildlife.
On our second day, we headed out early to visit the natural park, and the hotel staff kindly arranged a taxi for us since it was so early in the morning.
I truly cannot recommend this hotel enough,it was a flawless experience from beginning to end. We’re incredibly grateful to the staff for treating us with such warmth and care. I would absolutely return in the future!

This was incredibly convenient for washing our hiking and hot spring clothes promptly – a fantastic perk! Our hotel butler contacted us a day beforehand to assist with itinerary planning. Even when butlers changed shifts, they consistently communicated this and proactively checked if we had any new requests. Upon departure, the butler even presented us with a small gift, thoughtfully expressing concern we might be disappointed if we hadn't been able to see Heaven Lake. The emotional value provided was incredible – we felt truly valued and cared for! We're already thinking of returning in winter!

GGuest UserThe room was very spacious and had a pleasant, fresh smell. The pillows were too soft for my preference, but everything else was great. The hairdryer was pretty standard, but it worked fine. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choices. The staff service was also very warm and welcoming. The slippers provided were incredibly comfortable – soft and thick. You can arrange for a pickup service from the station/airport directly with the hotel.

Ww-31comA fairly standard hotel. It's a bit of a distance from the main transport hub, so it's quiet but lacks vibrancy. There's an eatery not far behind the hotel that serves fantastic fish. The place was clean, and the breakfast selection was quite good. However, the room was small, the window view was obstructed, and the price wasn't low, leading to poor value for money. Downstairs, there are local specialty stores and a supermarket, making it convenient for basic shopping. For a proper shopping mall, you'll need to drive to the town center.

GGuest UserA surprisingly pleasant stay. The hotel arranged a pick-up service, and our driver was incredibly friendly and welcoming. He immediately shared tips on local must-visit spots and dining options on the nearby street, even giving a brief introduction to the unique features of Changbai Mountain. The legendary hospitality of Northeasterners was immediately evident! The hydrangeas lining the streets were absolutely gorgeous, adorning the entire block, truly brightening my mood. The front desk attendant was lovely. The absolute best part is how incredibly safe the area feels. With the Public Security Bureau, a military administrative zone, and the City Procuratorate all nearby, solo female travelers can feel completely at ease. It's also very close to the North Slope shuttle center; I just walked there. Visiting during the off-peak season this time of year allowed me to fully experience the beautiful golden autumn of Changbai Mountain in September. The weather was perfect, neither too cold nor too hot, and I got to admire the stunning beauty of Tianchi Lake.

SSH.1The first visit to this hotel was full of warmth and overwhelming hospitality. I still can't forget how they welcomed us the moment we arrived at the hotel.
Firstly, we were overwhelmed by the staff
during our arrival. They all came out to greet us and help with our luggages and belongings all the way in to the hotel.
Secondly, with the seamless check in to our rooms and fruit platter, every gesture was well thought by the hosts.
Thirdly, they prepared a sumptuous dinner for us. Simple local delicacies yet tasted really good. The number of ginsengs in the appetiser surprised us! From the portion to the presentation of food, we can taste the difference and feel they put in their heart to make everything better. Lady boss was generous to treat us a bottle of local rice wine during our mealtime. Tasted really good and special! We like that drink!!
Additionally, we were asked for timing to eat breakfast and they would prepare that before our specific timing. They even asked us for our preference and customise breakfast for us. Breakfast was served and tasted as good as dinner! Freshly prepared and done meticulously by the kitchen.
Lastly, lady boss gave us an impromptu complimentary tea session after dinner. A unique and interesting experience indeed. Never seen and tried it before. It's a heating device with net on it, put the heating pot for stirring and cooking our own tea from scratch. Meanwhile, we have the finger snacks and nuts to roast on the heating rack (as shown in the pictures) while waiting for our tea.
In between, they would guide us how to prepare the tea. It was a chill and relaxing session. We enjoyed chit chatting while roasting our tea in the cafe. It felt so warmth especially when it was snowing heavily outside. The vibes were superb!
I had many enquiries and the lady at the counter helped me out a lot without hesitation. She tried all her means to help us. The lady at the hot spring was very friendly and provide good services too!
The staff from the hot spring, restaurant, concierge, driver and even lady boss all were very attentive, friendly and nice at any point of time during our stay. Pretty impressive indeed. Giving all credits to every single staff. Amazing team!
They gave us more than we could ever imagined from services to food to hospitality. Thank you for giving us an amazing and memorable stay! Overall it was a great and enjoyable stay at this hotel. Definitely recommend everyone to visit them and feel their positive energy. Certainly can't wait for our next visit to Chang Bai Shan again!!!

My family were lucky to choose to stay in this beautiful hotel resort.
1. The Room : very clean and many room style to choose like Chinese or Japanese or normal.
2. The location : is very near town just only 5mins
Near Changbaishan railway station just only 5mins
Close to Scenic deer park and riding floating river
3. Sevice: excellent. The boss is very caring us. He took us from station to the hotel and back to station for FREE. He help us a lot to buy Mountain ticket, booking car, and bus to Xuexiang.
4. Hotel also Free Breakfast with delicious food. The kitchen service is great. They are kind and outgoing. 😍

FFilippo051The hotel is in a perfect location to reach all the main attractions. The thermal area is very nice and wide, though it gets very busy during the evening and there are many kids running and screaming around for who there is a dedicated area but they are not delimited to it. I understand it is a place for families but it would be better if specific areas, for example hot pools (above 40 degrees) and saunas were off limits for kids.
The service staff doesn’t speak English but through specific devices and translation apps we were able to communicate.
I contacted the property months in advance via Trip.com to ask if they could support me in purchasing the tickets for the Tianchi Lake or find a way to reserve/book them for me since the online reservation website is in Chinese and accessible by locals only. When I got there they told me the tickets were sold out and they were not able to get them for me and didn’t even know if it was possible to purchase them at the location. I understand this matter may be out of their hands but I’d expect the best hotel in the area to have a direct contact with the ticket office and a priority line for its customers (especially foreigners considering the inaccessibility to the online reservation page)

The location is perfect for travelers who need easy access to Changbaishan Railway Station, and the park right across the street provides a lovely place for a relaxing stroll. However, the most memorable part of my stay was the outstanding service I received from the moment I checked in. Chen Yuanyuan (陈园园), the hotel staff, was an absolute delight. She is always smiling, polite, and going above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. From the beginning, she warmly escorted us to our room and took the time to explain all the hotel amenities in detail. Her thoughtfulness did not stop there. She proactively connected with me on WeChat to ensure quick responses to any requests we had. The next morning, she personally reminded us about breakfast and even offered to come to our room to guide us to the restaurant. Her dedication was evident as she stayed until we were seated comfortably in the buffet area. Even after checkout, her exceptional service continued. She presented us with lovely hotel gifts and waited with us until our taxi arrived, ensuring a smooth departure. Chen Yuanyuan’s service attitude is truly commendable. Her attentiveness, warmth, and professionalism set a high standard for hospitality. She is undoubtedly a role model for her peers and a huge asset to the hotel. This experience reinforced my belief that service in China is truly excellent, and it’s because of staff like her that I will definitely return to this hotel on my next trip to Changbaishan in a different season.
