The staff in Gargia Lodge made the whole experience worth the trip. They were so friendly, attentive and very helpful from the moment we arrived. The breakfast and dinner was great and we got to experience the Northern Lights. We loved the place!!

The Alta Canyon hiking trail is close by (about 10 min via car / bike) and the nearby waterfall is just a magnificent place to see. The staff is extremely friendly. Alta city centrum is not that far away and at Gargia Lodge one can truly enjoy peace and quiet and beautiful Norwegian nature.

We are so excited about Gargia Lodge! It‘s just the perfect place to stay in between nature. We had a little cabin, which was cleen, quiet and with super sweet interior. A cutr kitchen gave the opportiunity to cook by yourself, but we didn‘t use it because of the delicious norwegian meals that were prepared by the stuff. We felt very welcomed and had so much fun. The guides and stuff members are just gorgeus.

Very beautiful place and nature surrounding😍. Rooms are very nice, clean and big enough. Breakfast and dinner are excellent👌 Staff are so friendly and helpful🥰. Sauna 👍and funny water challenge is waiting for you as well! 😁 5*****+++ place!

We stayed three nights at Gargia lodge in a studio equipped with Kitchenette. The room was comfortable. Pots, pans and cutlery were very limited and could be improved for guests wanting to use the kitchen. They serve good breakfast. The location is beautiful. We took a hike with snowshoes to the frozen waterfall, which offered spectacular views. We were lucky to have many clear nights in a row and just had to step out if the room to see the northern lights. The lodge turns off all lights including the street lamps at 12 AM, and it’s wonderful to walk out to see the lights and run back in to warm up, especially when it’s -25 degrees😄

Der Urlaub in der Gargia Lodge war richtig toll. Die Unterkunft war sauber und das Personal unwahrscheinlich freundlich und herzlich. Die Lage am Waldrand ist einfach nur herrlich. Von dort aus starten viele Aktivitäten.Wir werden die Lodge garantiert noch mal besuchen.
