Alta River Camping is a large campsite with wooden cabins. Here you can park your motorhome or rent a cabin. We rented a cabin. These stand in long rows on the site. The reception is in a larger house on the square. Everything is very comfortable here. When I was there I had to wait a VERY long time because the lady of the house was chatting extensively with a guest. There are a few souvenirs for sale. The cabins (we had cabin number 21) are small log cabins. The hut is extremely cramped. 4 people can sleep there - but eating or sitting is only possible in shifts. There is a tiny kitchenette with a coffee maker (filter machine for instant coffee), a kettle, a microwave. In addition, a hob with two plates. A fridge. No stove. No dishwasher. There is enough crockery for this. However, there are only two small pots for cooking. You can't really cook for 4 people - except for pasta with tomato sauce. The WiFi is very poor. A tiny table with two wooden chairs is squeezed in there for eating. The table is very tight for two people. It is impossible for 4 people to eat there. I have no idea how you imagined it. The chairs and table are also terribly wobbly. The living area consists of a loveseat and an armchair - it's all kind of odd for a 4-person cabin. A loud ticking clock hangs in the living area. The bedrooms are tiny too. Two very, very narrow beds are in it. The beds are very soft - you sag completely. Unfortunately, the bathroom has no daylight and is therefore not very nice - but at least halfway functional. There is a sink with a mirror, a shower in an alcove and a toilet. But pretty is different... There is a narrow "terrace" area in front of the hut at the entrance with two chairs and a small table. However, it is so narrow that you cannot really sit comfortably there. In addition, the view of the gravel area in front of the huts and the many mobile homes is not particularly pretty either. It's a shame, because I like to sit outside and enjoy the evening in nature. . The location is not nice. The area is located directly on the street, which you can also hear at night. The view from the hut is not nice either. You look at the parking lot with the mobile homes and you can watch the campers having a barbecue. The gravel course is very dusty. Many guests have dogs with them - both in the caravan and in the cabins. You have to like that... or not. Due to the many camping guests who are active outside in the evenings and at night, and the road behind the hut, it is quite noisy there. The huts are practically not soundproofed, so that you can hear the hut neighbors very well
