This is a very good quality b&b and one of the best I have stayed in Northumberland. The was 8 of us with 4 rooms we had the suite as it was my wife's 70th birthday. The accommodation was well appointed and attention to detail with good quality furnishings and each room had a kitchenette. Our terms were room only with breakfast at £10/person optional. We had the breakfasts which were again good quality and excellent value. The b&b was in a central location in morpeth but was quiet. We were advised about parking prior to us leaving home but Carmen the host gave us good advice and was parking not a problem. This is a well run establishment at a reasonable price and the host Carmen was charming ,helpful and good fun to talk to. Good experience!

A very conveniently located place to stay with nearby street parking and a literal view of the castle. The homemade biscuits was delicious. The bed was a little narrow but a good length, the floor had s very definite bowl like shape as it bowed down in the middle. Would happily stay again

We thoroughly recommend Castleview B&B. We stayed there in May 2023 (Coronation Weekend), and was really impressed. The room was lovely and well laid out. Tracey was a fabulous host, a lovely lady, very helpful & made us feel very welcome from the outset. Nothing seemed to much bother for her. The room was spottlesly clean, tastefully decorated & our breakfast was really nice. It was a pleasure meeting Tracey & she dealt with all the arrangements, requests etc so easy. Thanks for a great stay Tracey Bill & Eileen West

I can't recommend Castleview B&B highly enough: I stayed there in October 2022 whilst on business in Alnwick for a week, and was very impressed with, well, everything. Tracey is a fabulous host, and made me feel very at home from the outset. The rooms (of which I believe there are only two) are immaculate, tastefully decorated, and spotlessly clean. The bathroom in the 'Elizabeth' room is spacious and the modern power shower excellent. The whole house, which seems to be 17th/18th century, is furnished with splendid period furniture and there is plenty of drawer space - plus a handy dresser which was perfect for working using my laptop. Breakfast was served in the room every morning, with a tray overflowing with toast, cereal, yoghurt, fruit and fresh coffee - don't let the word 'continental' fool you, there is plenty there. There is also tea/coffee making equipment in the room. Linens are top notch, and the bed is very comfy. Towels provided (even flannels) as well as basic toiletries like shower gel. I went well prepared for my week, but I have absolutely no doubt if I'd have needed anything, it would have been provided. I can find no real fault in this fine establishment! It is perfect for anyone wishing to stay within a literal stone's-throw of the magnificent Alnwick Castle, and the multitude of decent pubs and eateries of this cracking little town. One thing I would add is that the B&B, as an historical building, is not really geared up for those with disabilities: steep exterior steps, uneven staircases/floors, and heavy doors would not suit someone with mobility issues: With a venerable building of this age, I have no doubt it is Listed (protected by heritage legislation), and to install such accommodations would be impossible. If you're a visitor from outside the UK, maybe visiting the town for the Harry Potter / Hogwarts connection, then you will love this little slice of both history and hospitality.

Tracy is a fabulous host to this old characterful, loved the quirky slightly sloping floor in our room! We struggled a bit with the size of the bed, having a superking at home but it’s an older property and the furniture needs to fit! Brilliant location for the castle and everything in Alnwick is walkable. Breakfasts were excellent, from the full English to the omelettes and banana oat pancakes tasted great. There is some road noise in the morning but it didn’t really trouble us, just to let future guests know to expect it. Would highly recommend and definitely stay there again.

Stayed here for a week 19-26 June. Booked this based on the previous reviews and were not disappointed in any way. One of the best B&B's we have ever stayed at, The accomodation is immaculate, both clean and comfortable. Tracey, the owner, is warm and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for her. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Alnwick, a stones throw from the castle and town, then look no further than Castle View. I guarantee you will enjoy your stay.

Another lovely week here. Nothing is too much trouble for Tracey. The choice for breakfast is huge. My favourite was the cheesy scrambled egg with salmon. Rooms are lovely and comfortable and as the name suggests a great view over the Castle. Close to Alnwick centre and all amenities. A big thank you Tracey. We will be back.

Press the doorbell and await your host, we parked on the corner and was given a permit which was a nice touch. We stayed in the top floor room with the 4 poster, lots of stairs so be warned if you struggle with mobility as some are wonky and thin as the building is very old, but we like this quirk as well as the bedroom floor being the same. Bed comfy, en suite fine, shower not too powerful and hearing controls may need tweeking. Good tea tray with nice further selection on the landing. TV a tad too small.for the room as only one chair we had to sit in bed to watch it. View of the castle was nice. Breakfast was good , salmon and scrambled eggs were nice, but the pastries/toast should be served fresh rather than left on the table before you get to your table, just a little thing. Owners were lovely and we'd stay here again but look at the other room with the blue sofa next time.

We spent two nights at this delightful B&B right opposite the Castle entrance and a stones throw from all the lovely delights Alnwick has to offer. The room was characterful and very comfortable. It is beautifully decorated with lots of lovely art work and curios. Tracey is the perfect host who provides such a friendly and warm atmosphere whilst producing one of the best B&B breakfasts we've had. Unlikely to be bettered.
