They gave us a room that they knew that they are still drying the carpet, when we went it inside it smells really bad, requested to change room, they gave us a room with a broken shower and no cold water. We coordinated to the reception, asked him if we can upgrade and to check the room first before paying, there was no difference at all, only the space and an additional single bed. We were open to pay the upgrade but reception told us he cant give us the room since we booked for the CHEAPER one. so if we booked for a cheaper one, does it mean they can give us a room with a broken shower and no cold water? Oh, and the toilet bowl has stains, they done know how to remove it? Anyways, the issue were fixed (shower and water) when we came back to the hotel but the way it was handled, was not acceptable. The location is great but they should maintain their facilities and the hotel itself and improve their customer service.
