I stayed here for 8 nights while I was doing a Spanish course. San Remo was an excellent choice for me because it is right in the heart of the city close to all the main points of interest and a multitude of restaurants and tapas bars, cafes etc. I liked my room which had a balcony and large bathroom. It was on the 6th floor - lift does take a while to arrive sometimes but if you're feeling athletic you can go up the 6 flights of stairs! Breakfast is not included here but that is no problem in a place like Alicante as there are so many cafes offering it for about 3.50 Euros. Staff were all very nice and helpful.

I don't think that I've ever stayed in a smaller hotel room. It was tiny, tiny, tiny. And there were no frills in the room. Could not get the TV remote to work, but that may be my own lack of technical prowess. But, the price was right. It was clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. Also a great location.

Even though, as I read in the other reviews, it is a central hotel and has only one star, the rooms are really tiny, suitable for the stay of one person, but not for a couple, and absolutely not with a child. I'm surprised that rooms of 7/8 square meters can be allowed.

We stayed two nights and everything was great. Clean rooms, good location and friendly service and the housekeeping was very attentive to us at all times. I 100% recommend staying at this hotel without a doubt.

Central hotel, recently renovated, comfortable given the central location, excellent value for money, good cleanliness, the only negative note being central, already at 8 you can hear too much noise from the streets below but I recommend it also because with the same price there isn't any around a lot
