Iberostar Selection Diar El Andalous

I stayed at this hotel with my mom, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience! We received a warm welcome with rose petals and towel swans on our bed, along with champagne, fruit, snacks, prawns, and desserts waiting in our room (they thought we were a couple, which was quite funny!). A special thanks goes to our housekeeper, Rawdha, who always took wonderful care of our room. She was professional, attentive, and always smiling. I truly hope this comment reaches her supervisors because she really deserves recognition! Every day, we were also greeted by a very kind gentleman at the buffet restaurant (unfortunately we forgot his name, but we believe it started with Z — our apologies!). He always made sure everything was to our liking and did his best to get us a table with pool and sea views. The food itself was very fresh and varied, ranging from Italian to authentic Tunisian dishes. There was something for everyone: meat, fish, vegetarian, and even vegan choices. The themed restaurant was wonderful as well — we especially enjoyed the lamb couscous and traditional Tunisian desserts. The pool area can get a bit crowded, but that’s totally understandable in August when so many people are on holiday. We still had a fantastic time. The beach is also amazing, although you just need to be mindful of jellyfish that occasionally appear. Luckily, there are bars nearby serving refreshing drinks and tasty snacks. Every evening, at least in summer, there’s a different entertainment program depending on the day of the week. We especially enjoyed the Foam Party, the Tunisian Evening with traditional music and dancing, the Fakir Show, and the White Night, when everyone dresses in white to dance. You’ll never get bored at this resort — there’s always something happening! To sum up, we truly recommend this hotel. Thank you so much for giving us such a wonderful stay and for making this mom-and-son trip so memorable! Some minor observations (which did not affect our stay at all!): we were a bit disappointed that the Moorish café was closed (Iberostar should update this information on its app); there could be more Tunisian food options; and after check-out, luggage should not be left exposed in the lobby — though of course we trusted the staff completely. :)

The attentive staff made this a holiday where I was able to recharge my batteries. I visited with daughter (aged 25) and unfortunately due to an accident a week before our holiday she was on crutches. The initial room we were given was the furthest away you could possibly get from the lift and accessing the amenities however the next day we were moved to room 333 which was much more accessible. Many thanks to the porter and reception staff who helped us in facilitating this. Due to the lack of mobility my daughter had the restaurant and pool staff could not do enough to ensure my daughter was comfortable. One thing my daughter and I did pick up on was how respectful the male staff were. As two single females we were never made to feel uncomfortable or creeped out. Dali (I hope I’m spelling his name right), one of the lifeguards is incredible at his job and a huge asset to the hotel. He’d approach us at intervals throughout our stay offering to move umbrellas so we were in the shade and always helped us with a smile on his face. He made the holiday for us! Our cleaner was fabulous and the restaurant staff worked tirelessly to ensure you were comfortably seated and even produced toothpicks on the quiet when they saw I needed one . The hotel was clean and tidy and needed it to do everything we had hoped for. Thank you to all the staff for making what I thought would be a very difficult holiday into one where we could relax in a safe environment. Also, we were privy to the most fabulous sunrise on our last morning ☀️

The service is very good also the animation there are soo wonderful people sabrina and kity is the best …………………………………..

We are mid point of our weeks holiday, and couldn’t be happier! To put this in perspective, we travel every other month, and this holiday is the cheapest of this last 12 months trips, so, we weren’t expecting the world, but my husband and I agree that of all the places we have stayed recently, this is by far the best! The hotel is gorgeous, but that alone doesn’t make us want to scream and shout about the place! It’s the staff, and the hospitality! You want for nothing! The staff are attentive, kind and friendly. We have spent a few days by the pool, and are never without a drink. Once the server knew our tipple, we were rarely at the bottom of the glass before another was on our table. Everyone is friendly… Our chambermaid Neila (room 117) was WONDERFUL!!! Our mini bar was stocked daily, beautiful flowers left in our room, towels folded, bed fresh, but always, ALWAYS a smile, a hello, and a question as to whether we needed anything from her. The WiFi is strong, grateful that we’ve not had to buy a data package (it would come in as ‘other worldwide’ through Vodafone. Food was nice, plenty of choice! Nothing to complain about at all! Nothing but praise! Thank you to all the wonderful staff…especially Neila!! ♥️

When staying there you must try head relaxing massage done by Zakiha, better than any therapy and sleeping pills. Thank you. See you next year♥️
