Iberostar Selection Diar El Andalous

The staff are extremely helpful and entertaining and always looking after us guests with a smile. They always go the extra mile especially the entertainment guys MoMo, Fifi, waiters in restaurant hischam, musa, Abdul Aziz- he is so friendly and welcoming and our room was cleaned and maintained by Laila and upon arrival a lovely romantic welcome for my husband and I with flowers, cake and fruit. Thank you for a lovely stay. The hotel is amazing.

1st time we've been to Tunisia and a Iberostar hotel...the weather wasn't favourable but here goes 1. Transport to the hotel... if you are like us and get a taxi just remember they do not use card payment out here and everything is cash...you should ask for the price before entering the taxi... otherwise use the tour operated bus 2. Weather... it can be very windy and if the sun isn't out the expect low to mid teens 3. Hotel - Iberostar Sousse... 5star (for Tunisia) but otherwise the hotel is great... plenty of very nice pools (2) with a heated pool at the Spa/gym. Right on the beach for long walks along the coast Food... there is a large variation of foods to cater for all at breakfast,dinner and evening meal.. the staff are very attentive and each person has areas to look after.. we were looked after by Bechir and always smiled Drinks... as all inclusive drinks available all day but no sparkling wine (unless prestige) Prestige... exclusive adults only area let down by its size...as once it got warm it filled up quickly Room... we upgraded to Prestige room and the bed was a super kingsize, mini bar, balcony all pretty standard Entertainment... wow what a crew.. things to do everyday & every night.. They we're all happy everytime they saw you and would remeber your names once introduced... hats off to the Entertainment Manager and the crew Really great short break made great by the hotel staff

I have just arrived back to London after spending a week in this amazing hotel. It’s not the facilities that make the hotel 5* it’s the staff. From the security team, reception, cleaners, waiters & entertainers they are so happy to help you. I don’t think In all my travels around the world have I met such lovely people who help with any issue you have. I met a few guests at the hotel who told me they go back every year & now I know why. The food also was very good. My only request would be if you could invest in a larger sauna as this is very small. Thank you for a lovely time & we will be back to visit you again.

Had an amazing trip! First time in Tunisia and never been to a place so welcoming. All the staff are so attentive and friendly, however one person stood out more than others, Akrem! For the entirety of our stay he made us feel so welcome and comfortable and nothing was ever too much for him and seems like he really enjoys his job. The whole country is beautiful and would recommend to anyone a holiday here! Already booked again for September!!

Lovely smiles on arrival with a gorgeous clean smell to the whole hotel. Our cases were taken to our room. The food is is really good. Dinner is better than the breakfast. It's first time I've had to queue for fried eggs at a resort buffet ( please leave a few out for people to grab). The tunisian deep fried ring donuts were uncooked in the middle on the two occasions we tried them and my omelette was under cooked. Dinner on the other hand was perfect with lots of choice and amazing tasting desserts for a buffet. Beds were clean and comfortable- our prestige room was large. We upgraded to Prestige for the hot tubs but they were all switched off and ice cold when we arrived in November. So for that, I'd say it wasnt worth the upgrade. As it was November the Outdoor pools were like ice so we walked across to the spa for a indoor heated swim which was lovely. The sea is just a few steps away and was warmer than the hotel pools. There were lots of flies/bugs by pool loungers (in November) so bring repellent as I had gotten bitten and stung. The main entertainment lounge is classy and has a nice vibe. Use Bolt taxi app (half price of taxi quotes on the street) but make sure your driver's name matches the one who picks you up! I'd like to mention these members of staff who went above and beyond on our stay in November : Larrad ❤️- always has time to stop for a chat. Jalel ❤️- most attentive drinks waiter Ibrahim ❤️ - lifeguard who stops for a chat Moussan ❤️- Most attentive hard working, breakfast waiter. Rico ❤️- always kept our drinks flowing and talked to us. For the price we paid, you can't get much better! It is a 5 star for a Tunisian hotel (4.5 star UK standard)

My Husband and I had a brilliant time. It was our first holiday in Tunisia and we spent 28 nts at this hotel. The Staff were all amazing especially our two Maids Henda and Farida. During our stay it was my birthday and Henda decorated our room beautifully which was a lovely surprise. Good atmosphere, food was great and we met lots of nice people who have been going back to this hotel for years. Found a great place for coffee, Cafe El Medina near the port in plaza la Fontaine. We will book this hotel again. Thanks

This is my 5th visit to the hotel and every time I visit its beats my expectations every time . it has everything if you are looking for a relaxing holiday, this is your hotel ! The food is amazing with plenty of choice you not go hungry at this hotel all the waiters in the restaurants are fantastic they really do look after you.l Thank you to Tarek especially he always looks after us at breakfast! The drinks and cocktails are made to perfection and are not too strong just to the correct taste, Thank you to all the bar staff and waiters there are too many to name but they are amazing always smiling and more than happy to help you whatever ever you need ! The cleanliness of the hotel is immaculate, thank to you to our cleaner Layla who left our room immaculate and lovely surprise creations left on our bed daily. Kim the pool manager for always looking after us when we visit.. The pools and gardens are beautiful ! Every member of staff at this hotel deserves recognition, as they work so hard and always smiling and welcoming, this is why I Return so often as I always have an enjoyable holiday, it is like home from home❤️ and the staff have become our friends.

Family of 5 all inclusive get away was very much enjoyed. We arrived late an hour before dinner service ended and I find arriving to your hotel late does not give the best first impression. I was very underwhelmed and expected more particularly of the rooms. This isn't the 5 star I was expecting, it's definitely more of a 4 star but the next day (our first full day) gave a better impression. The pool areas are really nice, no pool bar but you can get drinks at the snack bar next to the pool and they also have service round the pool. Pool towels were always in good condition. Beach also lovely with lots of water sports available for good prices. We didn't eat at the Italian or Tunisian restaurant as we have fussy eaters but the buffet did provide lots of options. My kids only really ate chips and pizza but it wasn't like they didn't have options. However no ketchup so if your kids can't eat without ketchup then bring a bottle! I thoroughly enjoyed the food choices opting for healthier lunches from the gorgeous salad selections. I loved the desserts, lots of chocolate options which I find has lacked at other resorts I've been to so I was very happy! Room was fine nothing special, pillows were awful (personal preference) but found the bed comfy enough. WiFi not the best in the room kept cutting out which was a pain when you're trying to wind down watching a video or scrolling socials (no English channels that worked on TV). Entertainment was a bit too late for us, didn't start till 9.30pm by then we're all shattered from the long day of sun (maybe we're boring lol) Aircon doesn't work. It makes an extremely loud noise so for bed time if went on medium but it didn't cool the room at all. Was the same for the interconnecting room we had and the gym. Speaking of the gym it's the best one I've had on holiday so well done there thank you! Used it everyday so was happy! But be prepared to sweat buckets in your warm up alone lol Last but not least, what made this holiday what it was was the staff! They are all so nice, friendly, helpful, amazing people! Hishem and Moussa particularly stand out who made our dining experiences great. We had drinks ready on the table for us with constant refills without needing to ask and they made our table look lovely for our last evening meal. They were very kind to our children. So thank you :)
