Very good, the back door is the beach pool. I called the boss at two o'clock in the afternoon to tell us that we arrived at six o'clock. He said that he hanged the phone, then sent a text message to me, telling me that the password was taken from the box, and after that. Take the envelope, inside is the precautions and room key, half self-service bar is, this place is relatively small, not far from a pizza shop is particularly delicious, highly recommended

The swimming pool closes too early, while other hotels allow swimming until late. You can just turn on the lights, why close it so early? The breakfast is not good, but the dinner is OK, not good, not bad, just an OK hotel. Your service is definitely not worth the price, who gave you 5 stars, go out more often

The service is good, the pool is super beautiful, and there is a hill upstairs in the room. The first time someone took the luggage, someone brought it up.

This place is probably the best (or in the top 3) of places to stay in Airlie. The location is great..right on the water (remember you can’t swim though due the stingers for most of the year). Views are amazing. Staff are friendly and helpful (after being asked a few times). The rooms are clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. However the place seriously lacks in meeting international standards for 4-5 star accommodation. Room service stops at 8.30 and the restaurant won’t take bookings past this time! There’s no restaurants in Airlie that take bookings after this time. There’s no in room phone to ring reception.. unbelievable! There’s no drawers in the rooms, other than your beside table, to put clothes in. You’re provided with 5 theft proof coat hangers..are they that dear? We asked the cleaners twice and reception once for more but they never came. It’s best of the very average approach Airlie takes to tourists. We travel a lot are amazed and embarrassed at how expensive and poor quality tourism provisions are in North Queensland.

We're just about to leave this beautiful place! We had arranged an airport transfer prior to our trip or you can do it at the airport. It was a short 30-minute away, check-in was smooth, and the lady was super helpful. We were situated in apartment 6 with spectacular views. The apartment was absolutely beautiful, with all the amenities you need. Woolworth is a short walk away, but you don't want to wall back! The hill is a killer, but the views are worth it! We walked into the town every night and got a taxi back up. If you're driving here I'd suggest picking up some food etc before you arrive, we had been on a flight and had not eaten since the previous day, with nothing available straight away we just ordered a take away! We thought it was strange on a Saturday most of the restaurant seemed to be closing early, we struggled for a table after 8 pm in most places closing at 8.45. Definitely recommend staying here, its close to town, and about 15 min drive to the airport for the great barrier reef flight! Which is a must do!

I stayed at the Boathouse Apartments with my husband and 15 month old son after my son was quite sick on Hamilton island and unable to fly home. As there was no accommodation on Hamilton island I called up a few different places and settled on the Boathouse Apartments. I called ahead of time to see if we could check in early so my son could nap after the journey across. The reception staff were quite friendly and did try to get us in quickly however when we got to the room there was a rollaway bed instead of a cot. We left the room and came back to a cot being dumped in the apartment and not set up at all (not a big issue but also not what I’d expect paying the price for premium accommodation). The following morning I received a text that they had to do maintenance in our apartment for roughly 2 hours (I was never advised of this even though I called twice, told them I had a sick child and booked over the phone). We had staff knock on the door twice throughout the day to see when they could do it. First when we had a screaming child we were trying to give antibiotics too and secondly when we were trying to get him down for a nap (again when he was very distressed). We ended up having to leave and sit in a room after an unsuccessful nap with a toddler who had a high fever, ear infection and a rash. I’d also been trying to book a Telehealth appointment to have my son assessed but this was made difficult due to the fact we had to leave the room. One of the reasons I booked was due to the washer/dryer, we had no clothes left so I did a wash upon arrival. I ran the dryer multiple times that evening and kept finding sopping wet clothes at the end of every cycle which was really frustrating. On the following day we asked about the dryer and were advised that they don’t work very well and that the only apartments that had dryers were occupied. Because of this we were forced to wear the same clothes for 3 days straight. Not great for a messy/sick toddler.. We eventually were able to get our clothes dried and received them around 5pm the night before checking out. While I do appreciate the staff for doing so, it wasn’t very helpful at that point. The whole experience was really awful. Travelling with a sick child is hard enough let alone having that added stress. I am pretty annoyed that no one advised us of the works needing to occur during our stay and the fact that a dryer is falsely advertised. I never would have booked if I had known either of these things ahead of time and I feel fairly ripped off for the money we paid given it wasn’t exactly for a holiday..

This is the longest hotel to stay in Australia. The hotel has a very B&B style, a lot of rooms and facilities. Checkin was two days late, the hotel's aunt did not say anything, but also let us have fun. The hotel has its own small infinity pool that just solves the problem of the Airlie Beach lagoon and pool maintenance. It should be noted that there are two uphill slopes to the hotel, which must be good for young people with good physical strength. If there is an elderly person, it is recommended to rent or about the car. The hotel is very cost-effective at Airlie Beach, with a great view on the hillside. It is a 10-minute walk from the Woolworth supermarket below. It is very suitable to buy food and cook. It is especially recommended to have a car family.

I really enjoyed my 9 night stay here recently. The balcony provided beautiful views, the self-contained apartment was clean and tidy and had everything I needed, including a washing machine and dryer. It's a 10 to 15 minute walk to restaurants, the beach and shops. The bus is very close if you prefer not to walk. There is a steep hill to get up the driveway if you are without transport, but it was just part of my daily exercise routine. Not at all an issue for me but some may struggle if they don't have a car.

I stayed at Vista apartments for one week and it was very relaxing, pleasant stay. The staff, the ladies, Bebe and Robyn were very welcoming and very helpful with advice on where to get the best coffee or meal, places to visit, and very helpful with suggesting and arranging the tours. And available for a chat, which is great for solo travellers. Thank you, ladies! I stayed in one bedroom apartment that was very clean, bed linen changed midweek. Well equipped kitchenette so I could make meals when I felt like. Stunning views from balcony. Nothing beats the morning coffee on the balcony with the views of the harbor, the sea and islands on horizon. Bus stop next to the hotel if you don't feel like walking, however, it was only short walk to Port Airlie and about 10 -15 minutes to the main street, lagune and boardwalk. By the way, bus fare is 50 cents! There is free underground car park as well. So.if you want great accommodation at the very sensible price, go to the Vista! Oh, almost forgot. There is Thai restaurant at the hotel, that offers delicious dinners and I would highly recommend Zorro cafe at Port area, look up the photos to see why.

Outstanding
This place was absolutely magical. Literally from the moment we arrived we loved every bit of it. Absolutely stunning views. Beautiful southeasterly breeze whilst sitting either on the beautiful deck of our own amazing boat (cabin), up on the pool or on the gorgeous couches in the reception area. Every part of this place was lovely. The gardens are beautifully looked after. The cabins had the best views and were super clean. I loved all the little thoughts, umbrellas, bug spray, great mini bar selection. The breakfast was perfect, loved the variety and little daily surprises salmon crepe or berry pancakes. It is super close to the northerlies restaurant which we went to a few times but we were also able to get the free shuttle bus into Airlie which was super handy 15 minutes up the road. I have to say that every single staff member was beyond lovely, not forced or over the top but appeared genuinely happy and friendly. I didn’t catch his name but the property manager was just so hospitable and naturally engaging. He has to be one of the loveliest hosts I have met in my travels. I can not recommend this place more highly, perfect to get away from all the busy rigmarole and just chill.
GGuest UserThe Mirage is a gorgeous hotel with modern rooms and breathtaking views. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment (room 53) which overlooked the sea and the pool. The apartment was spacious and had all amenities. It’s a 5min cab ride to the main ***** in Airlie Beach which costs $10 each way. The hotel also offer a free shuttle at 10:30am and 2:30pm daily which was handy. Now to go over the not so great aspects of hotel. The rug in room 53 is stained, dirty and I had to ask for someone to come up to vacuum it when I arrived because I didn’t want my baby crawling on it. Even with the vacuum it was still disgusting. The rug needs to go! The bed heads need to be replaced as the material is flaking and gets all over the bed. The shower screens were not cleaned at all. Standard of cleaning must be improved. The breakfast is pretty average, presentation, quality and variety needs to be improved. The portable clothes line in our laundry was old and broken, needed to be thrown out and not offered to guests in that state. Overall we had an enjoyable stay.
HHeatherhuntlyBest place by far and good prices! Clean peaceful, lovely showers and toilets. The kitchen area was buzzing every evening. The reception lady was so so helpful. This site is just a 15 min easy walk to the Whitsundays Cruise terminal which takes you on trips to the Great Barrier Reef and other islands. I can recommend the full day Barrier Reef trip. Also do the guided snorkel tour - it’s great if you aren’t a confident swimmer but also takes you out of the designated area so it’s wonderfully peaceful. We also indulged in the helicopter ride - I took a great video of the reef - truly amazing. Also the Whitehaven Island - stunningly beautiful particularly Tongue beach. All day, hot and tiring but worth it (I’m in my 60’s). Bus stop - walk a few yards keeping right as you leave the entrance. $2:50 into town - change given.
AAnne37ScalEasy checkin even after hours, and very responsive via email. The location is a bit past town but there is a nice store and cafe about a 1.5 km walk down a busy highway. We didn’t do the walk so I can’t vouch for shoulder/sidewalk etc. Tons of families, and many quite loud. Cockatoos and kookaburras everywhere, also loud but very fun. Nice greenery around the park. Local tours do pickup here. Office hours are pretty short and unreliable. Major drawback - there’s one bathroom building for everyone (besides en suite or cabins), which happens to be a fairly long walk from the grass sites. However it was rarely busy even at peak morning shower time. Just a 2.5-3 minute walk from the back of the park. The grass sites are basically the camper’s dog’s toilets and there are fleas or some other small biting bug infesting the grass. Bring repellent and cover yourself, or avoid the grassy sites. Not the fault of the property, just a note. If I had it to do over again we’d book an en suite campsite - more private, with toilets. Overall, okay but not great if you’re child free and looking for a chill quiet spot.
GGuest UserStayed a week at end of May. Happy with having basic needs met- close to Coles and other amenities. Across the road and a bit, from the beach. Reasonably clean and quiet. Has a small but useful gym. The hotel rooms are a bit tired, with paint chipping off, marked, mirrors fading, shower glass worn out, etc. But nothing that affected my comfort or wellbeing. The bed is HUGE- bigger than a king size. There is a bar fridge, kettle (plastic!), aircon, iron, hair dryer. There is full-sized body wash, shampoo and conditioner supplied. Shower water is lovely. Basin is very shallow and almost impossible to wash hands without touching the basin. So of course, not possible to wash any clothing (or food, not that you’d want to!) in there. There is noise during the day from other residents enjoying the pool and chatting. By evening time, there isn’t any noise to interfere with sleep. On entering the room for the first time, the smell of bleach was overwhelming and took more than a day to dissipate. Large glass sliding doors with floor-length curtains wasn’t enough to block out the outside lights - those that light up the pool and exterior of the building, which are on all night. If you prefer complete dark, wear an eye mask. Gym is clean and tidy. Never saw anyone use it. I’m prone to attract mossies but didn’t have any issues this week. Had a big roach in the room but I guess that’s inevitable. Staff all very friendly and helpful. I’d be happy to return again!
BBowtellWe absolutely loved staying at Mango House. It’s only a 5 minute bus ride to Airlie Beach centre and has a supermarket, cafe and post office just across the street from it. The room was amazing - as backpackers we were very excited to see a washer and a dryer to use for free! The pool and garden are lovely too. 10/10 would recommend. Pam, the owner, was an gem and even dropped us at the bus stop to catch our greyhound bus.
YYINANBecause I had mistaken the flight for the original three nights and turned into two nights, I called the front desk, and the duty manager Gene was very good to give up the first night’s room rate, bringing a bad episode to the trip. The stock is clear; but the hotel is generally clean, a bit far from the port of airlie, walking for half an hour, taxi 10 knife, go out is a taxi can also accept; bad is too many ants, 8-6 points The time is almost no service, gave an emergency call, may only solve the big thing like fire or life, our room is not quilt, we don’t plan to solve it once, hang up once, the attitude is very bad, if not Gene, then nice This hotel is absolutely three points. In the case of the question of the quilt, it is fair ok. Children love the outdoor pool.
MMargaret VThe rooms are amazing. The service from the staff was above and beyond, we had a very early start on Sunday and the open the kitchen early for us to enjoy a continental breakfast before our long day. We have 9 rooms and everyone slept very well. We will be staying here again next year. Thank you for a great weekend.
GGuest UserPositive points: - childfree - in walking distance of the main street (which includes a grocery store, pharmacy, clothes and accessory shops a number of restaurants and cafes and a maccas and pizza shops) - in walking distance to the beach. - Courtesy buses for tours and restaurants will pick you up from this hotel. - Our room had a spa bath. - Beds are comfy. - Ocean view. Negative points: - The plates, cups and cutlery in the kitchen weren't clean. - As a female, not a great deal of security. Some of the fly screens look like they had been slashed because they had been badly ripped apart and the entry door has the old key and lock system. So, if I was travelling alone, I wouldn't have felt safe with very minimal security on the room. - The bathroom floor is quite cheap and rough on the feet.
黄黄The rooms are suites, there are rooms and rooms, the rooms are spacious, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the rooms have microwaves and hot water bottles, but they are not cooked, and the balcony faces the beach. It is very convenient to have McDonald's, food market and supermarket for about 10 minutes on foot! The front desk service is super good, intimately introduce the places and supermarkets nearby to eat, you can report in the hotel or in the nearby local travel agency. Very satisfied, come back to this hotel absolutely!
