Loved our stay at Songzhuju! One of the plus points owner can converse in English which makes it easier for non chinese travellers. They have washer and dryer for guest to use, and the location is near to the Old Town North Gate, 2-3 min walking distance. We loved the hospitality, owner greet us with Pu Er Tea and helped with our luggage, she even suggested us to go visit a coffee house at Baisha Town with breathtaking view of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain! The room was beautiful, as per photos and bed super comfy! They can arrange to pick you up for free at the railway station to hotel, and also arrange going back to the railway station with only 40 yuan (I have checked and its cheaper than didi considering they helped us with our heavy luggage etc. all the way to the entrance) Definitely ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stay at this hotel.

The location is very strategic, only 10 minutes walking to kunming railway station, and very easy to find food, convinient store, and near to city centre and some tourist attraction. The room clean, huge and complete amenities.

The hotel lobby was pleasant, with a reading corner. We were given a free room upgrade; the room was clean, spacious and had a huge firm bed (good back support). There is even a tea brewing set in-room. Our main gripe was this building seems to be shared with other hotels/offices so the lifts were a little run down and took a long time to arrive at our floor (we stayed at level 25). Overall, this place is quite value-for-money, comfortable, and had ample space in room to open 3-4 big luggages. However, if you’re rushing to catch a didi etc, do allocate a few more minutes for the lift to arrive at your floor.

At first it was a little confusing because the hotel’s lobby located at 6th floor. The english is not so good (as usual) but the communication can be done via translator. The front desk are very helpful and will try their best to communicate despite the language barrier. The room is clean, good view. I had my friend booking with no windows room and it’s actually decent too. They actually have windows just that it faced inside the building. Not bad and not as claustrophobic as i thought it would. It’s located along ninping street, although it’s felt like on the end side of the road. So you need to walk quite a bit yo the centre side of the road. The gym is very basic probably just 3 equipments at level 6. The laundry is also at level 6. In general i would recommend. I have no complaint for my one night stay. Love it. Good location with many eateries around and near to the Wuyi metro station. Staff are friendly and helpful. Helped us thru Wechat to get to the hotel when we first arrived. Quick to respond. Room is clean and beautifully anointed, with Totoro vibes.

Very strategic place to stay where a lot of muslim food and mid range and high end malls available nearby. The room is good to accommodate for small family and few of our big luggage. Good front desk personnel service can't speak English but they tried best to help assisting us. Definitely worth our stay. Highly recommended.

We really love our stay in this hotel. It’s on 17th floor. We were there early, but the front desk gentleman were very accommodating to let us checked in early. Not only that, our room is upgraded to next level with only nominal amount of money. The moment we stepped into the room, we were greeted with beautiful view. The room is very spacious and cleaned. And we were quite surprised the room is quite high tech. The curtain, all the lighting, and tv are voice activated by 小度小度. It also finds my favorite music. This hotel is centrally located near Kumming station, malls/shops, and many restaurants. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

Love this place. Cheap but it has the nicest bed for my first night in Yunnan. Amenities are good, great hot shower. Clean toilet. But more importantly, it’s strategic location, walking distance to the train station for my early train to Lijiang. There’s also a decent supermarket downstairs, and for muslim like me, there’s a small noodle restaurant next to the hotel that open early in the morning. Food is not a problem! Definitely reccomend this place to travellers.

Especially the 5th floor has a beautiful view. In the evening you can go see the sunset. This place gives me a very warm and calm feeling. This is a well priced option in the city. It is about a 20-minute walk from the main Kunming railway station, so for those arriving at Kunming airport late when the metro has stopped running, you can take the airport bus to the railway station and walk to the hotel. The hotel is also a short 5 min walk away from the nearest metro station Tangzixiang, which is a convenient interchange station. There are only a few food options near the hotel but a walk to the Tangzixiang area throws up more. No amenities like a pool etc - typical of an Ibis but for the price paid, no complaints. Did not tru their breakfast so cannot comment. Night front desk staff can be a little rushed despite being professional.

Stay for one night but i extend of another 4 hours of stay because this hotel is cery comfy. I stay in many hotels during my trip to yunnan. I could conclude this is the best hotel in my trip here. The staffs are very friendly and helpful during my stay here. Near to suncheng street, nanping street, fashion mall and perfect place to stay (all places only 10-15 min by walking). Cleanliness is 15/10. Get the projector in the room and staff give me fridge magnet. Thank you so much for perfect service 🥰✨.

Good and clean stay there. The reception helped us a lot with booking trips to Shangri-la or the Snow Mountain or with daily questions. We got a lot of nice tea tastings as well. All in all a satisfying stay with a good location near the old town. I would definitely recommend.

Lovely place. The location is super convenient, as it’s near the ancient city exit, so can save energy carrying luggage. We were welcomed by very friendly staff and cute dog. The hotel is conveniently located close to Lijiang old town north gate. There are many Halal restaurants and convenient stores around old town. The room was spacious with so much amenities provided in the room including washing machine, and oxygen machine. The staff was friendly and helpful in guiding us to Tiger Leaping Gorge. A very nice place, short walk from the ancient city but far enough away from the hustle bustle of the ancient city. Overall clean place and the owner is usually found sipping tea at the lobby. You can join him for a chit chat or get his help to book tours or buy stuff like tea or flower cakes. He is very professional and subtle in his selling approach. We stayed for one night at Lijiang Pure Sunshine, which offers a stunning panoramic view of the ancient city and the snow-capped mountains of Lijiang. The owner, Mr. Chan, was incredibly warm and helpful. He shared his WeChat contact, allowing us to reach out to him anytime we needed assistance. We were delighted to receive a room upgrade during our stay. The room was equipped with a good heater and basic toiletries, which made our stay comfortable. The guesthouse is conveniently located just a 3-minute walk from the Old Town, making it an excellent choice for exploring the area.

I had a 2 nights 1 day stay in the hostel. The boss and the staffs are very friendly and nice. He has shared with us the tips to travel in Lijiang and the popular food nearby the hostel. Me and friends chose this guest house as our last stay in Lijiang. We just came back from our Shangrila and Yading trip. We fell in love with the place. We should’ve stay for more days here. The room is perfect. They have everything you need. The bathtub, washing machine, comfortable bed even give you breakfast and fruits. The owner is really really nice and very down to earth. One of the brother (big brother) also very funny, will always give you his biggest smile. His laugh is indeed contagious. Even though we only stay for one night, the service is really top notch. They will help with your luggage when you are check in and out. I highly recommend this stay for foreigner like us, because the brothers are really nicest people that I know in Lijiang. They are very genuine and kind. They also run a tea shop next door and grow their own tea! How cool is that! Highly recommend this guest house when you’re staying in Lijiang. I had a pleasant stay at this hotel for a night, the room is clean and comfortable, the receptionist is helping me to book the bus from Dali old town to Lijiang old town (don't need to take train cuz it's hassle) he was with me until the pickup time to ensure that I'll be safe for boarding at pickup point. The best place I stayed during my trip in China! Joy, one of the managers, was truly a joy and she speaks very good English, which was super helpful. She gave me a lot of tips and we talked a lot about Bai's traditions and culture. The hotel is very clean and the location is very good, in a quiet street in the old town, away from all the chaos and noise, but with plenty of amenities nearby.

Amazing stay at this BnB for 2 nights. The host helped to arrange for pick up service before we arrived and also sent us to the railway station when we left. They were also really friendly and hospitable throughout our entire stay. Breakfast was simple and homely but good. Some insects were in our room which came in through open window and the host helped to resolve the issue really quickly! Highly recommend :)

Our experience at Pullman Dali was a mix of highs and lows, with some exceptional staff and several areas that fell short of expectations for an Accor hotel. The Good: We were fortunate to receive excellent service from Ms. Eleven and Mr. Herman, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Their kindness and attentiveness, especially when our child fell sick during the stay, were truly commendable. They provided all the assistance we needed, making a challenging situation much more manageable. Additionally, the café staff member, Mona, stood out for her patience and friendly attitude. The Not-So-Good: Unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet the standards we expect from an Accor hotel. Communication was a significant challenge, as many of the local staff struggled with English, making it difficult to get basic information or assistance. The hotel seems to cater primarily to local Chinese guests, which greatly influenced the atmosphere. The breakfast area was chaotic and crowded, and the variety and taste of the food left much to be desired. While Mona was polite and helpful, other staff displayed a dismissive and arrogant attitude. For instance, when we inquired about some of the local breakfast items, the response was abrupt and unwelcoming, as if they didn’t care whether we ate or not. Additionally, breakfast ended strictly at 10:30 AM. While I was still taking food from the buffet, the staff turned off the lights and removed the trays right in front of me without any warning. It felt extremely inconsiderate and left a poor impression. Other Observations: The location of the hotel is convenient, and the rooms are decent. However, the overall experience may be more suited to local Chinese guests rather than international travelers expecting global standards of service and hospitality. Final Thoughts: While there were shining moments thanks to a few outstanding staff members, the overall experience at Pullman Dali did not live up to the reputation of the Accor brand. If you are an international guest seeking a more service-oriented stay, you might want to consider other options.

The location is nearby the ancient city and it is within walking distance. We got the upgraded room since we checkin earlier out from the checkin hours. The only problem is that you have to carry the luggage up to the floor you stay and is quite a distance and tough to walk from the counter to the room. The accommodation did provide drinking water machine so stay hydrated guys!

The Yunduan Nanshe Homestay is an outstanding but very affordable hotel located near the ancient city in Dali. You can perfectly plan to stay one or two nights of your holidays in this place to enjoy all the landmarks and activities around the hotel. The hotel is not bad for the price. The staff are friendly and rooms have all the amenities including air conditioning, free wifi, toiletries, towels, hair dryer, toothbrush, shampoo and soap. The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool at the rooftop with great views to the city. The hotel is surrounded by plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars within 10 min or less walking distance.

Location is excellent with stunning views overlooking the lake, and short walk to nearby Putuo island. Staff were all excellent with great service. Thank you to the hotel manager and everyone else for all attention and care. We were pampaered with fruits, cakes etc.. and II brought 3 elderly family members with me recently (two of them bove 80+ years) and they thoroughly enjoyed the stay!!
