"Our trip to Changbai Mountain led us to choose the DoubleTree by Hilton, and I was genuinely impressed by the service – definitely a five-star experience! Today, the Heavenly Lake was incredibly crowded. With all the waiting in lines and sightseeing, it was already past 7 PM by the time we left the scenic area. I was worried about missing the shuttle and the hassle of traveling in the dark, so I decided to contact our butler, Jackson Eric. To my surprise, he immediately helped us arrange transportation. The entire process was handled seamlessly; we were able to get directly into a car to return to the hotel as soon as we came down the mountain. It was so convenient and thoughtful, completely easing all our worries. As for the hotel itself, the facilities are top-notch. It's very close to the North Slope entrance, which saved us a lot of travel time. From our room, we had a view of the entire pine forest – so quiet and soothing. Coming back in the evening to soak in the hot springs, the fatigue from a day of hiking instantly melted away. The breakfast selection was extensive, even offering local Korean ethnic specialties. Our stay was incredibly comfortable. I truly feel that the service here isn't just about following procedures; they genuinely solve problems from the guest's perspective. A special thanks to our butler, Jackson Eric. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Changbai Mountain!"

"The hotel's ski package is really great value for money, and the hotel environment is also nice. Although it's a bit far from the ski resort, there's a shuttle bus, so it's not too bad, and you hardly have to wait. The ski slopes are plentiful but the number of people is moderate, and there are always staff members in the ski equipment hall to help you. The skiing experience is excellent. The hotel rooms have basic amenities, and the heating is very strong and warm, but they are extremely dry. The breakfast food is delicious and reasonably priced, and the included hot spring tickets are a good deal; soaking in the hot spring after skiing is very relaxing. However, the service needs improvement. The shuttle bus to the high-speed rail station is infrequent, and the time and location are unreliable. They said it would depart at 3 PM, but when I asked the hotel staff if it was on time, they weren't sure. When I walked over and saw the bus arrive, it drove off without waiting a second, which was quite frustrating."

"Excellent! Blue Horizon has been around since I was a kid, and even after all these years, it still maintains its 5-star standard. It feels like staying in a Nordic forest. The restaurant offers wild mountain vegetables with dipping sauce – the kind only true Changbai Mountain locals would recognize. You absolutely must try it! However, I'd suggest they make the portion sizes smaller; there's too much, and it'd be a shame to waste those delicious wild vegetables. The complimentary activities and attractions are also fantastic and definitely worth visiting!"

"The room was clean and comfortable, making for a very pleasant stay. We had a dedicated butler, whom we added on WeChat, so we could easily ask questions. They were very helpful, providing recommendations for dining and attractions. They even went out of their way to arrange tickets for the hot spring water park for both adults and children for the next day, allowing us to play until 3 PM before heading home. Upon check-in, we received VIP fruit, and milk was delivered in the evening, which the kids loved. The water park deserves a special mention; the children had an absolute blast and are already looking forward to their next visit. We also watched the fireworks in the evening, which were beautiful and spectacular, though my phone couldn't capture the stunning effect seen with the naked eye. For dinner, we went to the second-floor restaurant and ordered a la carte. The steamed white fish was absolutely delicious, enjoyed by both adults and children. We ordered five dishes, and all were fantastic."

Opening the window, you're greeted by a stunning, serene, and healing view of the snow-capped mountains. The location is absolutely fantastic, with an exclusive corridor leading directly to the ski equipment hall. No need to carry your gear; you can truly ski-in and ski-out, saving effort and hassle. After skiing, head straight to the Gokurakuyu hot spring, where the aroma of cypress wood fills the air. With both indoor and outdoor pools to choose from, the romantic experience of soaking in the snow is maximized, and all fatigue melts away. The butler service is meticulous, providing thoughtful care from check-in to check-out. The breakfast offers a rich variety of Chinese and Western dishes, ensuring you start your ski day full of energy. The hotel is well-equipped with a supermarket and a Japanese izakaya, fulfilling all your vacation needs in one place. Whether for a business retreat or a ski holiday, it's an impeccable top choice and has already been added to my must-visit list every year!"

"The hotel room was large and spacious, clean and tidy. The butler provided full-service tracking, offering us many suggestions and assistance during our vacation. Staff in the rooms, restaurants, hot spring pools, and lobby were all warm and polite, providing an exceptional emotional experience that made us feel very cared for. Our stay was a perfect 100%! We're especially grateful for the fruit and thoughtful little gifts from the butler. Due to time constraints, we only stayed for three days. We'll definitely come back to Crown next time if we have the chance – it truly lives up to its name as the 'Crown of Crowns'!"

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Highly Recommended! The hotel facilities are brand new and spotless, making for a fantastic stay! A special shout-out to Rora at the front desk! She was incredibly warm and friendly, always willing to help. We encountered various issues during our trip, and she promptly assisted in coordinating and resolving them efficiently and patiently, which was incredibly reassuring. The laundry room was a lifesaver on our journey! We could wash clothes that were dusty from sightseeing or soaked from rafting, and they even had a dryer. The staff were very thoughtful, helping to wash, organize, and fold our clothes before returning them to our room. This was incredibly practical for families traveling. The buffet breakfast offered a rich variety of options, and the hotel's hot spring experience was excellent. They even provided complimentary hot spring tickets, making for a wonderfully relaxing soak after a day of activities. The overall service was meticulous and attentive. This is definitely our top choice for travel to Changbai Mountain!"

"The overall environment of the resort is pretty good; it would probably be even better in the summer. The service is exceptional, with everyone paying great attention to detail. However, as a mom looking for a weekend getaway with my child, I found the activities to be just so-so. The snow activities themselves are free, so any amount of fun is a bonus. The hot springs, though, were really disappointing. There are only a few indoor pools, no high-temperature areas, and more importantly, they didn't feel like actual hot springs! 😦 The outdoor iron pot was impossible to use due to too much debris. From a value-for-money perspective, it's not the best choice for a weekend trip. And the kids' play area... sigh."

"Right at check-in, we were given two warm bottles of Changbai Mountain mineral water. The room was standard, and the heating was very strong – we had to sleep with the window open. The hot springs, however, are in a separate building, and you have to walk through the lobby on the ground floor to get to them. The lobby and the breakfast area on the second floor weren't warm enough, making it easy to catch a cold after coming back from the hot springs. The hot springs themselves are communal and only have a few small pools; it's not really worth going unless you just want a quick taste of Changbai Mountain's hot springs."
