Dali Hostels

Loved LOVED this hostel! quite easy to get to from the train station and a 15min walk to Dali old town, but there's also a really frequent free shuttle service on offer to get you from the hostel to the old town and back. very clean, wonderful views from the roof and various public spaces and balconies. great social area, and I'm so happy to have made so many friends there. the hostel also offers various group trips to main sights around Dali for really reasonable prices - the best thing is that the tour guide also takes pretty professional photos so you get your memories recorded throughout the trip! the hostel also has cute cats and a big fluffy dog!

Excellent experience here, and they accept international guests. The pods are really cool and well taken care of, the location is right by the ancient town, and the common area is stylish and friendly. The host was very personable and he even gave me a scooter ride to the bus stop when I left. To find it, the Baidu map location seems not to be correct, but the trip.com map is. It's at the end of a little lane - there's a big barber pole on the main road at the start of the lane. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at the Lilypad Guesthouse! Erin and the rest of the staff are very helpful, friendly and considerate people. They made made us feel like home. There were always snacks, fruit and tea around and the team gave us tips for activities and even took us to see the firework on mid-autumn festival. On another occasion. they showed us Chinese recipes and we could help cooking lunch. We also enjoyed the family dinner and lunch together with the staff and other guest. Lily and Pady are two lovely cats, Lily is one of the cuddliest cats ever. There is also a sports/yoga/dojo room, a ping pong table and a roof top terrace that can be used. We warmly reccomend the Lilypad Guesthouse and would stay here again any time we come to Dali.

The inn is also very convenient from the ancient city. It takes only 10 minutes to walk and it is also very close to the Bohai Sea by taxi! There is also a large balcony on the third floor to watch the sunset of Cangshan Mountain. It is not too comfortable to live! ”Qingfeng Xiaozhu” can be entered from the east gate of Dali Ancient City, or from Erhai Gate → Renmin Road → Dongyu Street. The store is located in a small alley. If you can't find it, you can call the boss and he will come out to greet you! This room is located on the 3F and is relatively quiet at night. The indoor room is quite spacious! Both beds are large beds, suitable for families👨👩👦👨👩👦 when traveling. It even comes with a projection! There is a mahjong table outside the room, free entertainment. The roof is a clothes drying area with good ventilation. The kitchen on 1F can make some simple snacks. This price is quite satisfactory!
