Good room, clean and comfortable. Our room was at the back so was very quiet and we slept well. Shower pressure was really good. Location was good once you manage to cross the highway infront (turn right when you come out and there's a crossing). Roof terrace is nice though beer prices were quite high for a hostel. Breakfast was good though some tea or coffee with it would have been nice. Overall a good stay.

This hostel immediately make you feel warm and welcome! Close to the city center, it is easy to find and the staff is friendly (and speak English if you are a foreigner!). The hostel has a lovely lounge, rooftop and terrace where you can sit, enjoy the hostel's food and drinks (very good and affordable) and relax. I stayed in a 6-people all female dorm room, which was a little bit small but it is enough, especially since you have so many other places in the hostel where you can hang out. The bed is comfortable, the shower and toilet are outside of the room but easily accessible and clean. I had no problem with using the washing machine and dryer provided either. I only stayed one night but the hostel made me wish I had planned more time in Kunming! I will definitely book here again if I go back to Kunming.

Great place to stay, right on the edge of Shuhe old town (one of the two old towns we visited - the other being Lijiang). Lovely courtyard and friendly staff, especially Carrie who really made our stay so fun and memorable! They accept foreigners, have food/drinks if you want and there’s plenty of people to ask what to do/recommendations. Will definitely come back! There are also two lovely golden retrievers.

My best stay of this time in China. The surrounding is amazing. You're right at the feet of Cangshan mountain. On the rooftop, you get amazing views of the old city in front and of the mountain in the back. The place is quiet. There is a lot of shared places. The room is clean and comfy. The staff is young and very friendly. I stayed one more night and would have more if I had the time.

I stayed here for 3 days while traveling to the Tiger Valley and Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. It is located right next to Lijiang Ancient City, and the entrance to the hostel is controlled by a barrier, so outside vehicles cannot enter and exit, so it is very quiet (people can enter and exit freely). The young lady boss was very kind and managed clearly, so there was no inconvenience at all. Due to the nature of traveling to Lijiang, if you go out early in the morning and return at night, or stay overnight at a guest house at the Tiger Valley, there is no place to store your luggage, but I think it is a really cost-effective place to stay while traveling to the Tiger Valley and Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Next time, I want to go to Shangri-la, but even then, I plan to stay here for a day and then move on to Shangri-la. It's like old age:)

On the way, donkey friends recommended a youth hostel to live in Jianshui. It's very close to the south gate of the ancient city. The owner is super friendly and greets every time we meet. The small yard is nice and cozy. It's very lively at night. Everyone sits in the yard and chats. Strolling together in the ancient city at night, there is free tea to drink when you come back. If it weren't for the epidemic, I really want to stay for a few more days. It is recommended to live here when you come to Jianshui. Those who can play with the boss and call each other brothers every day will come here again next time.

The hotel is located at the east gate of the ancient city, so it is very convenient to enter and exit. There is a rice noodle breakfast shop and freshly baked flower cakes next to it. We booked a loft, so it was really big enough. It is also quiet to sleep at night, the hot water for bathing is also big, there is an elevator, it is more convenient to have luggage, the ancient love recommended by the front desk is relatively good, the price is not expensive, the ancient city b at night is still more beautiful, there are more people, the bar street, playing in Lijiang for a few days feels good, I will come to Lijiang later if I have a chance haha.

Qingshan, this is the first youth hostel that makes me feel the warmth of home and I don't want to leave for a long time. Sister Bing, my fellow Nanjing native, has a beating young heart, a soft voice and a melodious singing voice, the perseverance to work all year round, and a good cooking skill. The dumplings she makes are exquisite, the shrimp wontons she makes have the sweetness of fruit corn, the rice noodles she makes are better than those sold outside, and the aroma of scallion pancakes fills the entire hall... Back to Qingshan Youth Hostel itself, this two-story wooden cabin is surrounded by lush green plants. Beautiful songs and laughter are often heard at night. As for clean hygiene, hot bath water, and comfortable beds, they are the least worth boasting about. I stayed in Lugu Lake for a full 13 days and 12 nights, where ordinary people leave in a hurry after two days and one night. I not only like the mountains and water, clouds and wind here, but more importantly, I like the people and emotions here.

Baisha who came to see the concert on May 1st, took a taxi from Lijiang Ancient City to the Baisha Building sign here, first of all, I highly recommend Baisha Ancient Town. There is no commercialization. Every store on the street can see the boss's careful layout. No matter which corner you go, you can see the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain when you look up. Huanque Youth Hostel is conveniently located at the south gate of Dali Ancient City. It is just a few steps away from the south gate of Dali Ancient City by taking the special line from Dali Station. There are three floors in total. The sun room on the top floor has a washing machine where you can wash clothes. You can bask in the sun during the day and enjoy the night view of the ancient city at night. I booked a quadruple room. The room was very spacious and clean. The most surprising thing is that a youth hostel at this price can sleep on such a big bed. In addition, the washing area is separated for men and women, and the bathroom and shower room are separated. The bath water is very hot and the water flow is very strong. It is the most comfortable bath I have had in the past few days in Yunnan. The owner, Dali Qianxi, is very enthusiastic, cooks delicious food, and can cook many dishes. You can cook your own meals in the hostel's kitchen, or you can try the chef's cooking skills. From time to time, the store manager will hold hiking activities and invite friends to play together. Song and Dave speak excellent English and Song especially was very helpful and apologetic about only having a room with two single beds rather than the double we booked (a conflict between bookings made on Trip & C-trip). Nevertheless the beds were comfortable and we slept well. Room was clean and tidy although no toilet paper and the flexible shower broken (large overhead shower working). No kettle in room but community water boiler on ground floor in courtyard. Nice atmosphere in hotel and architecturally satisfying, great views from roof where there is a place to do laundry and hang clothes to dry. Short walk to ancient town, and the neighborhood around the hotel also worth exploring. Recommended.

It takes about 10 minutes on foot from Dari Station! It's quiet because it's located between low-rise apartments, and I heard it was remodeled in 2023, so the facilities were clean! I was initially assigned to the 1st floor, but there were too many mosquitoes so I changed to the 5th floor. The owner is very kind😄 I had a good rest~
