Fairmont le Manoir Richelieu

In the autumn, I went to Katong for a holiday and specially chose this hotel. It is not bad. Of course, it is not comparable to the domestic five-star. However, after all, it is Fairmont's brand. The hotel facilities are quite complete, the scenery is really good, because there is no reservation, and meet the Thanksgiving Day in Canada, there are many people coming to vacation, not able to eat at the hotel. However, I stayed at the Lobby Lounge (can see the St. Lawrence River) for a morning and it felt good. We were driving by car, we didn't know the first day, so we stopped the paid garage, 12 Canadian dollars a night, the next day, parked the car on the top (hotel) P9, it is free
Auberge la Châtelaine

Too many great things to say about this B and B. The hosts, Laurent, Quinten, and Patrick are so very welcoming. Sitting on the porch for breakfast and looking out on the St Lawerence River was so very relaxing. Breakfast was unbelievable and way too much for me to eat but I did enjoy the crepes with homemade blueberry jam (Quinten makes this himself and I got the last jar they had to bring home!), to the yogurt and home made granola to the latte it was all so good! We went to the frontage shop they talked about and brought back cheese/salami and wine to enjoy on the porch in the afternoon. I need to come back on the winter so i can see all of their decorations and sit by the fireplace!

After 7 days in Gaspesie, we were stopping here on our way home. Glad we chose this place. Lovely reception and very clean. The receptionist gave us restaurant and activities recommendations. The room we had with two queen bed had comfortable mattresses, was extremely clean and sufficiently furnished. The room also had a view of the bay and opened to a shared patio with dining tables and a propane firepit. Highly recommend!
Hôtel et Pavillons le Petit Manoir du Casino

The view from the room on the St-Lorenz power is very beautiful and the balcony invites to stay. Rooms size and facilities are very good. We found that the bed linen was severely polluted (spores of motornoel, dirty shoes, etc.). After a complaint, the bed linen was changed as well as the towels in the bathroom. The check-in was chaotic and we were not told that there is no cleaning and exchange service in the room. In the room, however, with a packet of drinking money is asked for the maintenance of the room! As for the food in the restaurant, I was disappointed by quality and presentation. Flesh and vegetables on the table were cold when it came. Dessert at 2 evenings the same (only the garniture of the cake changed). But what was most disturbed me was that you had to pay the service staff even though you booked half-pension. It always discusses with guests and funny credit card bills. Also at breakfast was needed to pay service!
Auberge des Nuages

Our stay at this hotel was truly unforgettable, thanks to several outstanding features. From the moment we arrived, we were met with a warm and welcoming greeting from the reception staff, setting a positive tone for our entire visit. The hotel boasts a vast, inviting lawn that offers the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy some peaceful moments. The breathtaking view of the river from this area adds an extra layer of charm to the already beautiful surroundings. The rooms are spacious and provide an exceptional level of comfort. Every detail, from the plush bedding to the modern amenities, has been thoughtfully designed to ensure a restful and enjoyable stay. Breakfast each morning was a delightful experience, offering a wide variety of choices from fresh pastries to seasonal fruits and hot dishes, all prepared with great care. Near the hotel, we discovered a charming harbor that adds to the appeal of the location. Strolling along this picturesque port quickly became one of our favorite activities during our stay.
