We absolutely loved this accommodation, not just because of the facilities — which were excellent — but especially because of the reception staff. They couldn’t be friendlier and are incredibly helpful when it comes to planning your visit to the park. They’re extremely well-informed. We would definitely stay here again, 100%.

We have delightful stay in here. The host are super nice, very accommodating and helpful! We do have a lot of luggages since we'll be traveling in China for a month, the host are initiatively help us with everything from pick-up service, sightseeing information, loaded luggages and transportation arrangement too! The room is homey, looking great just like the picture they provide and clean. You can anticipate their breathtaking view from the room's balcony 🫶🏻 Check-out process were very seamless. I highly recommend to everyone to stay in this hotel!!

Service: was really good. The receptionist lady gave us a lot of helpful information and was constantly available. I was really grateful for the service. Our rooms were cleaned daily, we got fresh water and towels. She also helped us get a ride to the train station, as there are limited drivers in this area (plan your departure ahead of time). Room: the room has an amazing view. We enjoyed the balcony so much that we spent a lot of time there just taking in the scenery and enjoying ourselves. At night it looked even better. We visited during peak season (international workers holiday) and still the room was relatively quiet at night. Everything was exceptionally clean. The rain shower was appreciated as well. We also got vanity kits and so on. The bathroom is a little small for people over 190 cm (you should be fine if you are shorter). The bed was comfortable and big. The only thing we missed was a Minibar (or fridge). The TV unfortunately wasn't a smart TV. Location: the hotel is located in the central city. You won't miss a thing. There are restaurants nearby and all sorts of scenic spots. If you go outside, turn left and walk until the end of the street you'll even find a shop offering coffee ☕ (which is quite rare).

We had the best experience ever at this hotel! It's located in a stunningly beautiful area, and the view from our room was absolutely breathtaking. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The hotel staff welcomed us at the airport, and the service from that point on was nothing short of outstanding. Our room was spotless, incredibly comfortable, and had everything we needed—plus a few thoughtful extras. It was cleaned daily, with fresh towels always provided. The food was another highlight—breakfasts and dinners were consistently delicious, made from fresh, flavorful ingredients that really stood out. A very special thank you to Li Jin Ci at the front desk. She was incredibly helpful and kind—she booked all our attraction tickets, arranged transportation for us, and patiently answered all of our questions. She truly made our stay even more enjoyable and stress-free. We loved this place so much, we decided to stay an extra day! If you're looking for a hotel that offers comfort, excellent service, beautiful surroundings, and warm hospitality, this is absolutely the right place. We can't wait to come back!

A Perfect Stay in Zhangjiajie – Truly Unforgettable From the moment we booked, the hotel staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Even before our arrival, they shared detailed information on how to reach the hotel and answered all our questions quickly and efficiently. During our stay, they gave us great recommendations on where to eat, and we ended up having some unforgettable evenings preparing our own barbecues—such a fun and cozy experience! One lovely moment was when our daughter wanted to swim in the hotel’s pool. We didn’t have a swimsuit with us, but the staff kindly told us exactly where to buy one nearby so she could enjoy the water. It was such a thoughtful and kind gesture—she was so happy! Breakfast was absolutely delicious, and our room was just perfect: incredibly spacious, with super comfortable beds, an amazing rain shower, and a stunning view of the surrounding mountains. The hotel is ideally located just five minutes from the Southeast Gate of Zhangjiajie National Park, making it very easy to reach the Bailong Elevator and the iconic Avatar Mountain area. To top it all off, they helped us book a taxi for our return to the train station, which made our departure completely stress-free. This place was truly a haven of hospitality and tranquility—exactly what we needed to recharge and continue our journey. Highly, highly recommended!

We are from Thailand, self-guided travel with family. We spent 1 night here in separate 3 rooms. 10/10 Location : This hotel is right next to the scenic viewing platform to see whole waterfall with the old village. You can't see the waterfall from the room (nice for us since we don't want disturbing sound when we sleep) but replace with very beautiful and calm river view. Each room place separately and have different scenery. It's hard to tell which room you would get when you book the room via Trip.com but the 8805 and 8806 we stayed both have wonderful scenery. 10/10 Service : Hotel staff was very helpful. They helped us carry the luggage to the rooms. They don't have enough staffs in my opinion. 8/10 Facilities : Breakfast is easy and delicious. Room and bathroom facilities are just enough. About drop off, they will drop you to the back entrance of Fenghuang Village area. You will need to walk from the road, pass the alley - the ticket gate, then arrive at the hotel entrance not too far. This hotel may not convenient for elderly. 6/10 Cleanliness : Actually it not all that bad. The room 8805 and 8806 were quite clean minus only the air conditioner when we switch to heater, it smell (may be visitors rarely use heater). But the room 8803 is quite dirty (I guess it's because 8803 is not the frequently occupied room but they give us this room because they want us to stay close to each other). And It's such a shame that they have such a beautiful place but didn't take care of the weeds to allow for the full view from the room.

The hotel arranged for Mr. Ma to pick my wife and I up by private car because we arrived on a late flight from the airport at 9pm. All the local restaurants were closed so Mr. Ma arranged for the hotel kitchen to make us a hot meal even after the kitchen was closed for the night and we had not notified them ahead of time. His support on our arrival made us feel like we were part of his family. We had not yet purchased admission tickets for the National Grand Canyon, Huanglong Cave, or Avatar Mountains and A Sheng took care of bundling our tickets. He also kept in touch in the mornings to make sure we don't leave too late to enjoy the local attractions. Both Mr. Ma and Ting Ting gave us great recommendations for local restaurants that were on China's must eat list for 2024. Miss Ting Ting also offers a tea ceremony with 24 hour advance notice. The top floor of the guest house is the kitchen where breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served for additional charge but the food and convenience were very well worth the price. Miss Ting Ting also makes fresh omelettes on demand during the breakfast service. Mr Hu was able to provide park maps and special tips for how to best optimize the time for all the attractions we wanted to see for the three night stay we had booked with the hotel. The mountain view and hospitality were both superb. We would definitely return because we did not have enough time to book tickets for Tianmen Mountain which was on our must do list. The room was romantic and cozy. Everything was clean and the ambiance of the grounds is amazing. Thank you so much to the staff. The stay was memorable.

Trying to find the hotel was the slightly difficult part unless you know what to look for, but they do have a big poster on the entrance at street level. The apartment was lovely and light. The reception staff were very helpful and also helped us buy tickets for Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park. Very good location close to local shops. Do bring ear plugs though as during morning you can hear the traffic below. Would still recommend them. Good view from the room. Catch a didi to the intersection of the Jiefang Road and Yingbin Road. About 2-3 mins walk from there to building entrance. Floor 17A.

I’m writing a review as a traveller from the UK, and the room was VERY expensive for what you got. BUT you aren’t paying for the room you’re paying for the view! Which was SPECTACULAR! See pics, these are from the window of the room. The room was okay for one night (all you really need in furong town) and the hotel did provide a pick up and drop back service from their local high speed rail station (it felt dodgy when going from the car park to the room but was okay). Traveller tip: YOU NEED TO PAY FOR ENTRY TO THE TOWN. When entering the town you have to pay a fee as it’s a scenic area of China, this is unavoidable and the hotel fine print does mention you have to pay this. All in all, you can enjoy an amazing view at this hotel, but I feel that for the price, you can stay elsewhere in this town and get the same experience for cheaper.

This is a wonderful hotel to stay at when visiting Fenghuang. Its about 15min taxi ride from train station and right to the hotel front door for 26 yuan. The staff are super friendly and helpful - communicate to them via wechat. I had a 25kg suitcase and staff carried it up 2 flights of stairs for me, theres no lift. The room and view is as pictured - has everything you need for a pleasant stay. 1 full day is enough to see everything - started around 10.30am and went back to hotel by 4.30pm to shower and rest then ventured out after 7pm for dinner and the night lights... got back at 10.30pm. If you pay extra to visit the local historical attractions and watch the show then its best to stay 2 nights - I just wandered the streets, ate and shopped. Theres some very nice and cheap souvenirs here! I really enjoyed my time in Fenghuang thanks to the hotel and staff. Simply amazing! Highly recommend this hotel. It may look far from ancient town centre on the map but only 10min walk. Wear comfy shoes, you will get a good workout exploring here!
