Reis de Gaia

First of all I want to mention Sandra from the staff/reception for her exceptional assistance and professional/friendly approach. The hotel is located 5 min (walk) far from the river Douro in the old city centre which is very quite and nice. The aparthotel inside is again very quiet, the rooms are very well isolated. One can feel the privacy in full. The rooms are very big (I also had a chance to stay at the Family room which was even bigger), well equipped with everything you will need to feel home, minimalistic design, clean and with beautiful views from both sides of the building. The beds were also very comfortable. I stayed there for 5 nights in total and I will highly recommend this property for single, couple and family travellers. Thank you to Sandra and the owner of the hotel. I will choose this place again if I decide to visit Porto/Vila Nova de Gaia again.
Golden Tulip Porto Gaia Hotel and Spa

Location is away from Porto centre but that’s no issue as the bus stop is right outside and is cheap for a trip into Porto (2Euro each way). Hotel is clean, breaks decent and has semi decent swimming pool - ok it’s not all brand new but for the money we paid it exceeded all expectations. Would return!!
Boeira Garden Hotel Porto Gaia, Curio Collection by Hilton
4.4/560 Reviews
Location was about 5 mins drive from Vila Da Nova Devasas train station and 10 mins walk to Camara Gaia subway station. It’s not that close to Porto city centre. You got to Uber or walk everywhere. No free water in room unless you’re a Hilton Honors Silver member and above, and that’s only for the 1st bottle. Items like cotton pads and vanity kits were not restocked unless requested. Hand towels were also provided on the first day only. Dental kits have to be requested as well. Kinda disappointed based on the fact that it was a stay for our honeymoon but even so water was chargeable at 6 Euros per bottle because I was only a Blue HH member. Towel racks were not available, only hooks. Otherwise great service from the ground staff who could speak English except for a waitress who couldn’t understand “no ham no bacon” for our omelettes! Simple breakfast served daily. We were also given a small cake to celebrate. Thanks for the stay.

The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable and is very comfortable. A lot of goodness, to repeat Porto and the Hotel.
Gaia Residence
4.2/545 Reviews
We are in a great 2-bed apartment in Gaia Residence, which is combined with the Hollyday Inn Hotel. The apartment is complete with beds for 4, a small kitchen, living room and a small table for dining. All is perfect until the time of excellent breakfast, quite complete, but served in the same environment for the two hotels. There are the problems of superloting. A war!!!
The Lodge Hotel

Just wow! Loved our stay in The Lodge for a special anniversary weekend. The hotel is immaculate and the design superb. I was fortunate to see a few different room types! The likes of the deluxe doubles with Porto and Douro views are spacious and well laid out with views to die for. The L’Occitane en Provence toiletries and robes and slippers an added bonus. All that you’d expect of a 5 star hotel. The signature suite is truly incredible and it comes with Jo Malone toiletries and the most spacious 2 bedroomed suite I’ve ever encountered as well as novel mirrors which actually double up as TVs! The highlight for a hot weekend in June though is the modern chic pool area on the 5th floor. Whilst there aren’t unobstructed views of Porto it is a true haven in the middle of Gaia! Superb! Cannot fault!
