I came here once two years ago, and this is my second stay. Overall, I am a little disappointed. If I come to Shaxi next time, I probably won't choose to stay here again. The hygiene is ok, but the biggest problem is the toilet. I don't know what's wrong with the bathroom door. It's very easy to leak water outside when taking a shower. The water all over the floor and the toilet smell a bit bad, it's very frustrating. There is only a mirror in the toilet in the room, and there is no makeup mirror on the table, which is not very convenient for people who want to put on makeup. In addition, the service is a bit uneven. The front desk service for checking in on the day was very enthusiastic, but the front desk after the shift change was very indifferent. When I came back from outside, I met at the front desk, pretending not to see it and didn't say hello. I had a fantastic stay at Yingju Inn. The hotel is located in the most central place of Shaxi village. But more importantly, the manager was very helpful and professional. She speaks perfectly English and was able to help me for many things. She indicated me all the sights to visit in the area, and she booked my bus for me. It worth to be noticed, because after almost one month in China, it was the first time that I had a hotel with an English-speaking staff.

He upgraded the room for free when he arrived. The next morning, my friend suddenly suffered from acute appendicitis and couldn't get a car to Jianchuan County Hospital. The boss drove his car around six o'clock in the morning without saying a word. We were taken to the hospital and had the surgery that afternoon. The doctor said that if it had been a day later, there might have been a perforation. A good boss will be rewarded! Thanks again boss!

The review is a little late. The days in Shaxi were like a dream. When I woke up, I had to go back to my daily work. It is a very quiet and cozy B&B. A delightful inn with a beautiful courtyard full of blooms, greens and some fishes. The 4 of us were lucky to be there in April being the flowering season. Cosy outdoor areas to enjoy the environment and weather and snacks. Lovely mountain views from the top gazebo. Great location in a quiet area with comfy room and amenities [heated toilet seat too]. Friendly and courteous staff. Warm milk for the night too. Highly recommend this place. Short walk to the ancient town to Yujin Bridge, shops, eating places, canola fields and lotus ponds. Flowers blooming everywhere -- delights the heart!

The location of this hotel is literally on the doorstep of the pedestrian zone yet it is still accessible by car. The public car park is also right next door to the hotel. The hotel is decorated in traditional style and is very quiet at night. I liked that the hotel provided electric blankets for the cold nights. The breakfast is delicious and enough to keep you going for most of the day. Helpful staff and a relaxing place to enjoy Shaxi.

We had a wonderful stay. The english speaking owner and the very friendly staff staff did their utmost best to make our stay as good as possible. The staff provided us with tips in the area, scooter rental and all other help we needed. Sometimes travelling in China can come with challenges coming from Europe, but the staff made us all feel at home and relaxed. The rooms, including bathrooms are very clean!

The two cats are very cute. The shop assistants are very friendly and helped with the luggage when we entered the door. We contacted in advance after booking the hotel, and the housekeeper sent information about the hotel and the surrounding area. I chose milk tea for afternoon tea, Tremella soup in the evening, and Chinese breakfast was rice noodles. The room was very clean and well designed. Snacks and drinks were given, and there was a canvas bag to take away. The only small drawback was that the bath water had to be left for a while before it would heat up, and the water volume was not particularly large. The flaws did not outweigh the merits. Overall, it is still highly recommended in Shaxi Ancient Town.

The owner of the hotel is super enthusiastic and the service is very intimate! We received a message from the boss before check-in, confirmed our arrival time, and personally went to the parking lot to help us with our luggage~ Originally booked a sun room, the boss also helped us upgrade two double bed rooms for free! The spare parts in the room are quite complete, the hair dryer is huge and super love, and there are even two umbrellas to use, which can be seen from the boss's intentions. Just stayed after the Mid-Autumn Festival, the boss also prepared moon cakes! If you have time, you can sit in the yard and taste the tea made by the boss~ Maybe you can also pick up the life book that floats on your body (you can see the Canglan recipes and understand haha) Because of the cold in the morning and evening, I had a cough. The boss also took the fat sea to soak in hot water for me. I was almost moved to tears~ The attached breakfast is a coffee light restaurant just a few steps away from the homestay. The atmosphere is very good. The breakfast is also delicious. I like it~ There are also washing machines and laundry detergents in the homestay, and there is also a space for drying clothes, which is great ～ Surprise accommodation experience everywhere, thank you boss for the warmth!
