I've just checked out from this absolute gem of a guesthouse, and I couldn't wait to share my experience! Choosing this guesthouse was easily the best surprise of my Lijiang trip; it completely exceeded all my expectations, truly a perfect stay! The host is incredibly kind and friendly. He loves organizing communal dinners for guests in the courtyard and even helped me plan my itinerary, offering really dependable suggestions for places to visit. Seriously, book this place with confidence! There were also many international guests, and the whole courtyard had such a 'home away from home' vibe – so comfortable and relaxed. I'll definitely be back! My only 'complaint' – and it's a good one – is that it's so incredibly comfortable, you might find yourself wanting to do nothing but relax in the courtyard with a cup of tea and enjoy the sun, completely forgetting about sightseeing! 😄

There is no complaint with respect to the quality of the rooms are even with the location of the premises. Only nitpicking is with the service. They had a nonchalant attitude. Service attitude should definitely improve. We had difficulty reaching them on multiple occasions. The reception was not manned many times. Other than that, The Rooms were nicely decorated. The rooms were spacious. Amenities were good and modern, considering it's located in an ancient town. The location was good, in the sense that it's approximately 400 meters from the road where you can access taxis/Didi/buses. The location was convenient. Beds are comfortable, and the exterior is also neat. They didn't help much with sightseeing plans or in booking tickets to attractions, again itsa a service shortage.

I am from Muslim Malaysia travel with parents. The room I booked is so comfortable. This hotel has a beautiful rooftop view. I want to thank Jack for being a very kind host. He helped us to pickup the luggages from the drop point to hotel. Fyi, this hotel is located near to North Gate and Big Wheel. You need to go down 3 stairs from drop point. There are so many Halal Restaurants nearby the North Gate, 100% recommended.

Excellent hospitality with very clean rooms, and comfortable bed. My room had the view of the lake and I woke up with such a stunning view from my bed. On arrival, they can offer pick up service from train or airport. And also access to building is with secure key card. I love that there is washing machine and a lovely dining area. There are fruits and tea for all in common area if you like. The night we stayed there was also warm milk for supper if you wish. Room has a drying rack and can be light switches are really cool with track lighting in the room. Breakfast was simple set meal but you can top up whichever condiments you like. Soy milk is nice and warm. When I checked out, I was handed a nice small speciality box of local tea! As a souvenir. How thoughtful!

As Malaysian exploring Yunnan, we had a wonderful experience staying at Lijiang Park Designer Hotel. This place checked all the right boxes for us! ✅ Facilities: Modern, clean, and well-maintained. The hotel has a fresh, stylish vibe and felt very comfortable throughout our stay. 📍 Location: Just a short walk to Lijiang Ancient Town, which made exploring super convenient. We also found halal food easily nearby, which is a big plus for Muslim travelers. 🍵 Warm welcome: Upon arrival, the staff welcomed us with a traditional tea—a thoughtful touch that made us feel right at home after a long journey. 🌆 Rooftop experience: The rooftop area was a hidden gem. My friend and I spent time there enjoying the sunset over the mountains and the stunning night lights of the ancient city. Such a peaceful, picture-perfect moment. 👨💼 Friendly service: The staff were genuinely helpful—they even carried our luggage to the lobby for us without us having to ask. Service like that goes a long way. We truly recommend this hotel to fellow Malaysians or anyone visiting Lijiang. Come for the view, stay for the superior customer service! Nazhu Sky Courtyard Designer Snow Mountain View Homestay was nothing short of exceptional! The staff and owner are so kind and do everything to make sure all of your needs are met! This is the icing on the cake because the view of Yulong Snow Mountain is incredible! Relax, sunbathe and enjoy some coffee or tea on the terrace! Indulge in immersive experiences in and around the Homestay! There’s so much to do! Take a quick walk to Black Dragon Pool (Heilongtan Park) and learn about the culture within the city! Enjoy a cup or two of ******* Butter Tea and take time to talk to the staff…they are genuine and lovely people! I highly recommend this Homestay experience! Just know, there is no elevator BUT it’s totally worth it!! One more thing! The bed is incredible! The hotel is in a popular location and close to many restaurants and shops - especially for purchasing locally grown tea and coffee. The hotel itself is with a building that houses multiple hotel companies that rent floors within the building and this building name is not mentioned in the Trip.com booking receipt. As we are able to speak fluent Chinese we are able to call the hotel and find out where exactly it was. The staff were very helpful and met us in the car park to assist with our luggage and check-in. The room itself was spacious and the bed reasonably comfortable. The downside is the windows are very thin and do not block out the street sounds and we are treated a drunk argument between a couple at around 6am. The city is a popular tourist destination within China and many people go to wear the local costumes and have photos taken - we found so much of the make-up used for these photo taking on the floor of the room. Also, for some inexplicable reason the doorbell rang itself around every hour throughout the night. If you are looking for a low cost room and you sleep deeply then this hotel is quite reasonable. There is no restaurant located in the hotel but there are many places to east nearby.

Location= Wonderful. At the heart of ancient town with accessible halal food nearby. No need to worry about carrying heavy luggage across cobblestone pavement since owner fetch you from train station free of charge Room= Wonderful. I have to say the most feature packed room I have ever been with little money. Expensive looking bathtub overlooking the mountain, effective heater and heated floor, bedside oxygen, Dyson like blower even a room projector. Staff = Wonderful. Going out of the way to make you feel welcome. Fetch you from train station at night, helping with the tour, settling your luggage etc etc. Tried their hardest to please you although with language barrier.

The room offers direct sea views, and with Erhai Lake boat tours and Erhai Park located right downstairs, getting around is incredibly convenient. The room itself is also very spacious. We spent both evenings watching movies on the projector in the living room, which was absolutely fantastic. The only minor drawback is that there are quite a few steps inside the room, so you need to be careful if you get up in the middle of the night.

Out of all the hotels I stay in Yunnan this is the best by far. This is why I think the stay is great : - the owners are very friendly and helpful, he helped me to book ebike, gave us the locations that we can go for ebike, we explore the Napa Lake via ebike and it was mesmerizing - he picked us up and send to railway station for free - the location is superb, around 15-20 min drive to railway station, walking distance to guishan park, and also in the ancient Dukezong city where we can stroll around at night - a lot of halal food nearby - the room is so nice, they have smart toilet with bidet. The shower is heavenly, the shower pressure is perfect. They also have portable O2 if you need it - a lot of malaysians stays here and the owner was very patient talking to us with a translator - During our stay, all of his guests were malaysian.
