Exceptional Service and a Great Stay I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The service was truly outstanding — the entire front desk team was excellent, especially staff members 33-66, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The rooms are very clean, spacious, and comfortable. We initially received a room that had a slight smell of cigarette smoke, but the staff handled it immediately and switched us to a new room with no hassle at all. This is a great hotel, and I will definitely be coming back again!

5 Stars – Loved My Stay at Mercure Chunxi Chengdu (Returned for the 2nd Time!) I absolutely loved my experience at Mercure Chunxi Chengdu – so much that I came back for a second stay! This hotel continues to impress in all the right ways. The location is fantastic – just a short walk to Chunxi Road and IFS, which makes it super convenient for shopping, dining, and getting around the city. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with thoughtful touches like a minibar that made the stay even more enjoyable. I also appreciated how quiet and relaxing it was, even though it's in the heart of the city. The breakfast had a wide variety of choices, from local Sichuan dishes to international options – a real highlight of the stay. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. Overall, Mercure Chunxi Chengdu offers great value, comfort, and location. Highly recommended – and I’ll definitely be staying again!

Friendly staffs and request to add WeChat for any questions we want to ask them. Old hotel but maintain well. Beside MRT Wenshu monastery exit E but long flights of stairs. Recommend to use Exit C with escalator and u-turn walk few mins to hotel. Hotel room is decent and I have a bath tub in toilet. Comfortable beds and basic amenities provided. Free 2 bottles water daily. Aircon works well and water pressure is good. The toilet glass is slightly see thru from the room. Breakfast has good varieties however the food is more towards local taste - oily and spicy for a breakfast. Though there are breads and fruits , the menu only changes for hot dishes. Good to have if you need to eat smth very early before start of day (open 6:30AM). Always use didi to go around and not far from ChunXi road & kuanzai valley. Check in and check out is considerable fast. There is a fruit and convenient store across the road

I travelled here with my kids and parents so having the suite was a great choice. It was well equipped and the support from the hotel staff was great (the Jasmine tea was delicious, and they replenished our water regularly..) Location wise it was part of a mall and easy access to coffee joints, restaurants etc (their Cantonese restaurant at Yanlord was very good and we went back twice) and if you wanted to go to main tourist areas like Chunxi/Tianfu it was all very walkable. There were laundry/dryer options which was great too The kids enjoyed the kids club. Cons Toilet had no bidet Would prefer having a sort of suction vent in the toilets The remote for the curtains weren't always 💯

Our stay was good, but it was the exceptional service from one staff member that truly made our visit outstanding. We encountered a significant problem with a pre-booked DiDi driver to the airport. Despite having confirmed the trip, the driver demanded an extra 40¥ in cash for our luggage at the last minute. Being without that much cash and with no ATM nearby, we were in a very stressful situation. This is where a young man from the hotel's guest services team stepped in. He not only helped us cancel the problematic DiDi booking but also immediately secured a reliable taxi for us, ensuring we wouldn't miss our flight. He handled the entire stressful situation with remarkable professionalism, kindness, and efficiency. His English was excellent, which was a huge help, and his friendly demeanor completely put us at ease.

Our stay at Yushe Yunshan Designer Hot Spring Hotel, nestled near the Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area Visitor Centre, was nothing short of exceptional. It earned a well-deserved 5-star rating! From the moment we arrived for our one-night stay, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism, setting the tone for an unforgettable experience. The hotel’s design is stunning, blending modern elegance with local charm to create a cosy yet luxurious atmosphere. Our room was impeccably clean, spacious, and thoughtfully appointed, offering a perfect retreat after a day exploring Jiuzhaigou. The hot spring facilities were a highlight, providing a relaxing and rejuvenating experience that made our stay truly special. What stood out most was the outstanding customer service, particularly from 小刘同学. Their attentiveness, genuine kindness, and willingness to go above and beyond made us feel so welcomed and cared for. They ensured every detail of our stay was perfect, from check-in to addressing our questions with a smile. To top it all off, the hotel generously provided a complimentary breakfast, which was a delightful surprise. The spread was diverse, fresh, and delicious, catering to a variety of tastes and setting us up perfectly for the day ahead. Yushe Yunshan Designer Hot Spring Hotel exceeded all expectations, and we can’t wait to return. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Jiuzhaigou! (+) accomodate early check-in at 10am, check-in process is fast, and staff is helpful (credit to Steven) (+) location is super great, a door step away from Metro station and there is 24hr mini convenient store nearby (+) room is spacious (my room is upgraded for free) and the bathtub with city view is awesome (-) breakfast option is not so much (-) wifi is not working well, the staff said we need to connect to VPN to access non-Chinese websites/apps (-) air condition in my room is not working well, feels too hot especially in summer time, asked the staff to check but never come to fix

We had a great stay at Rezen. The location is 5' walk to the scenic spot. There are many food options nearby like McDonald's, Mina hotpot and local restaurants. Hotels provide toothbrushes and gifts for my kids. Amenities provided including facial masks, toothbrushes, combs and razors. The room is clean and the hotel smells nice. There is laundry room with washing machines and dryers. Breakfast options are 👍. All the staff is friendly and helpful. They helped me to arrange transfers between the hotel and huanglong station at a good price. Overall, we had a great stay at Rezen.

A Truly Exceptional 9-Day Stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Chengdu We recently spent 9 days and 8 nights at The Ritz-Carlton Chengdu, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The service at the Club Lounge was outstanding—warm, personalized, and consistently attentive. Jacey, Jasmine, Cathy, Ricky, and Ann truly made our stay memorable. They not only greeted us by name but also remembered our usual preferences, making each visit to the lounge feel special and welcoming. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality stood out every single day. We also want to highlight the efficiency of the room service reception and room service team, who were consistently swift and responsive in attending to our requests. Whether it was a simple need or a last-minute call, the service was prompt and courteous every time. A big thank you as well to the concierge team for handling our transport needs so smoothly. Special thanks to Evan, who went above and beyond to help us secure entrance tickets to the Panda Research Base when we had trouble booking it ourselves. There were many other team members who contributed to making our stay comfortable—even though we didn’t manage to get everyone’s names, we sincerely appreciate their dedication. Thank you to the entire team at The Ritz-Carlton Chengdu for making our visit so enjoyable and seamless. We truly look forward to returning again in the future.

Part of Longemont chain of hotels so all amenities like pool, gym and spa are shared. Love the fact that you can directly from your room, all the way to Chengdudong station without ever leaving the hotel, although it takes some exploration. Received free upgrade so thanks to the team. You get the view of HSRs so that’s fun. Black tea, coffee, creamer and refrigerator are not provided in the room but that’s a common occurrence in China and HK.
