I stayed in this hotel for a total of 8 nights with and in between trip to JiuZhaiGou. Chose it again on return due to its high value for money. Perfect location facing Tianfu Square, lovely rooms with super comfy beds, hot shower, amenities including laundry areas at an ideal price. DD and RR along with other staff were all very friendly and accommodating throughout our stay, always reachable at the front desks, via calls and even WeChat. Highly recommend!

My wife and I had a truly memorable stay at Echeng Hotel during our recent trip to Chengdu. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm hospitality and attention provided by the staff. Room was huge, modern and clean-a perfect place to relax after a full day of exploring the city. Hotel’s location was also ideal. Close to major attractions, yet tucked away just enough to provide a peaceful retreat from the bustling city. It was easy to get around, and we enjoyed discovering local restaurants and shops nearby. Overall, we would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Chengdu-whether you’er traveling as a couple, with family, or for business. Thank you for making our trip so enjoyable!

This is a very nice hotel located 2 min by car to the station. They offer free pick up services where when u catch a taxi from the station they will reimburse u the cost of the taxi ride. They offer a lot of toiletries including hand cream, hair tie. They also offer heat pack which comes in handy when it’s cold in e mei san. As we depart early, we couldn’t make it to breakfast. They offer to cook us noodles , dumpling and eggs. That was a miscommunication amount staff about the breakfast situation, but the chef make us breakfast in light speed and we are able to had breakfast before our departure. The services was so good that I will highlight recommend this place

The first thing to mention is the friendliness of the staff. They were so helpful and responsive all the time. The room was clean, spacious with a nice view. The hot spring, or pool, was a luxury with a great view of the valley. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of local food. On the first evening, we had yak hotpot in the restaurant and it was delicious. The Bipenggou ticket office is about 2.7 km away, which is a nice walk. Overall, we really enjoyed our 3-night stay.

It's a very ordinary express hotel room. The breakfast is not ideal. If you drive there by yourself, you must drive carefully. The last one or two hundred meters is really a test of driving skills. Also, the hotel is in the Jiaju ******* Village scenic area, and you need to buy a scenic spot ticket for 30 yuan per person for staying in the hotel. To be honest, it is not worth it. I have stayed in hotels in the corresponding scenic areas before, and they all have free admission. So for this room rate of more than 600 yuan (plus 60 yuan for 2 adults), the cost performance is extremely low The next day I wanted to visit the scenic area. I listened to the hotel staff and went to the No. 5 and No. 3 viewing platforms. What was too much was that after parking at the No. 5 viewing platform, an old lady came out to collect 5 yuan for parking. We asked for a receipt and said there was no receipt. In the end, she actually said it was a tip for her. If I didn't give it, she would hold on to the car and wouldn't let me go. In the end, I gave her 5 yuan and she banged on the car window and muttered something incomprehensible. She was probably cursing. It was really the first time I saw it. I was really disappointed with Jiaju ******* Village.

It's a very nice hotel with very good service. The food in their restaurant is very good too! One thing though - my husband and I booked the room with the private bath, and it's great, but the screen is very see through. So if you turn on the lights at night, you'll be a public show! We just soaked in the dark...

The parent-child room has a loft upstairs with two large beds on the upper and lower floors, two bathrooms, no cabinets or TVs, and no one uses it! The room is clean and well designed. Some of the other rooms have small courtyards separated by fences, and the owner has carefully arranged green plants, tables and chairs. The hotel is big with many places to hang out. The crabapples are in full bloom. It is so comfortable to look at the flowers through the long glass windows in the lobby and drink tea! The heaviness and texture of wood are fully reflected here! The breakfast was also very satisfying, with a careful mix of Chinese and Western tableware. The service brothers and sisters are very friendly and know their place just right. After checking out, I ordered a pot of tea in the store and it was free of charge. There were also exquisite souvenirs. The host is a very particular person! Satisfied with everything!

The environment of the B&B is really great, with a huge garden. I borrowed a set of camping tables and chairs from the butler and basked in the sun all afternoon. It was really comfortable. The restaurant recommended by the butler was very delicious and cost-effective. I had dinner. I went back to the store and soaked in a hot spring. It was pure natural. It made me feel relaxed and relieved. I have to say that the experience was really great. If you want to drink Kung Fu tea, just ask the butler to provide tea sets and tea leaves. There will be no second chance. The cost is really great. The room hygiene is also very good and the configuration is standard, but it is already very high for a B&B in this price range. The service is really impeccable and all reasonable requests are met. The staff all smile and make you feel very comfortable. I came to Hailuogou for vacation and chose the right hot spring B&B. This is the best memory of my entire trip. point. The scenery in the scenic spot is not bad. It should be more beautiful when it snows in winter. Now you can only see snow-capped mountains, glaciers and primeval forests on the mountain. It is said that Hailuogou in winter is like a fairy tale world, with vast sea of snow, rime, ice hanging, sea of clouds... Bring your family in winter Come.

GGuest UserThe hotel is slightly far from eateries, but getting a Didi in the area is very convenient. The room is spacious and equipped with smart features, but cleanliness could be improved. We found leftover cupcake baking paper on the floor, and tissues were stuck to the wall. The staff at check-in were unfriendly and impatient when answering questions. At the breakfast restaurant, the staffs were more focused on chatting with each other than attending to customers. However, the receptionist the next morning was attentive and addressed our needs well. On a positive note, the bed was comfortable, and we had a good night's sleep

GGuest UserI had an excellent experience during my stay at Power Stone Hotel. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the service throughout my stay was outstanding. The hotel is new, and my room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was also a huge advantage, conveniently close to attractions like KuanZhai Alley and Shufeng Yayun Opera House, making it easy to explore the area. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would definitely return. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking comfort, great service, and an exceptional experience!

GGuest UserI wish to do a fair review of my B&B stay at Emeishan. Service was spectacular. 1) The hotel provides free pick-up and drop-off services from Emeishan Station (not to be confused with Emei Station), about 7-8 mins drive from the hotel. I communicated via WeChat which trains I would be on and let them know that my 1st train arrival was actually so that I could drop off my large suitcase at their place, before going backwards to Leshan for half a day, and then returning to Emeishan in the evening. Not only did they agree to send someone to the train station to pick-up, they agreed to pick up only my luggage without me needing to accompany. So I could add an additional hour to my Leshan trip. Then they came to the train station a 2nd time in the evening to pick me back to the hotel. 2) The hotel replies very very quickly on WeChat, as if monitoring it all the time. 3) The hotel could arrange ticket purchase of a show, Only Emeishan, at a price lower than what you find on the official website. 4) The hotel even left the suitcase in my room before my arrival. 5) When I told the hotel to skip preparing my breakfast as I was starting off at 7am the next day to go Emeishan (breakfast is 7.30am at the hotel), they offered to put some items into a plastic box for me to take along. 5-star service in terms of making arrangements! They gave me a really large room, and I never used the bathtub with the bath herbs, but am thankful for the upgrade. Loved it that they gave 1 gigantic bottle of water and 2 smaller ones, showing their care for pple intending to climb Emeishan. Please don't expect too much from what they call ”Afternoon Tea” included in your package. It is merely a small tray of dried/fresh fruit, so it wouldn't form a meal. But I would not be fair to readers of reviews if I didn't give a balanced review. a) The hardware is a bit tired. The wooden planks in the shower room are blackish, and there are water marks on the stone in the bathroom. b) The power sockets are not at good locations. They are at the lower parts of a wall at a random spot and nothing near the bedside. c) The lights in the room are not well-positioned. d) There was an empty bottle below the wardrobe area when I first entered the room, which was missed even on the 2nd day. e) As I'm not familiar with Emeishan, I also didn't know that 黄湾 area is not exactly the main activity area in Emeishan. That said, the hotel is a 5-7 min walk from the 黄湾 entrance/exit to Emeishan. I believe the Baoguo Temple entrance/exit would be more popular. There are several restaurants around the restaurant but the vast majority appear closed or are not occupied, so it doesn't feel very lively, whether day or night. All in all, I would still recommend this hotel as they are family owned and run. The whole family depends on your support. Support local small business and give them a chance.

MMirandaK95We had a lovely stay here as a stop off on our journey round china. The location is within walking distance to some local restaurants and the main shopping street/mall areas. The Chinese breakfast was very nice too. The reception staff went out of their way to help us with booking tickets and restaurant recommendations despite the language barrier. We ate lunch in the restaurant once too which surpassed our expectations and was very tasty. We got upgraded to a themed room and while we appreciated the extra space there was a lack of lighting and surface space. We also saw there was a bar when booking but this was open when we tried to visit and the entire top floor terrace was closed which is a shame.

LLanJiangWe initially chose Pure Cloud Hotel for its proximity to Wuxiangang Bus Station and its recent opening. The drive up the narrow mountain road, full of sharp turns, was a bit unsettling for our city Didi driver, so we were secretly relieved (as was our driver) when we finally arrived. At first glance, the hotel seemed quite simple, and I wasn’t entirely sure I had made the right choice. However, any lingering doubts were quickly washed away by the warm welcome from Derek, the hotel manager, and the staff. When we got to our room, it was pure joy! The minimalist design is visually soothing, and the balcony with its expansive mountain views made us feel like just hanging around and doing nothing was more than enough. If you're the kind of traveler who feels guilty about not doing anything, rest assured that the hotel is in a beautiful section of the mountain. There's a lovely old temple and a sacred spring pond nearby—Zhongfeng Temple and Shenshui Pavilion, I believe. You’ll also enjoy the energy of hikers rushing up and down the mountain. There are enough people to make it lively but not overwhelmingly crowded like Leidongping or Jinding, where the crowds can be exhausting. A special mention goes to Derek, who exceeded all our expectations. His kindness and professionalism reminded me of the kind of service you expect from a six-star hotel, where every need is anticipated. Derek went above and beyond, making our journey to Golden Summit and onward to Leshan much smoother and more enjoyable. Since we speak minimal Chinese, he kindly helped us communicate with the next hotel, explaining how to get there. He even offered us a free ride to the bus station when we struggled to find a Didi in the area. Derek also helped arrange our transfer to Leshan. We were incredibly impressed and grateful for his assistance. If I had to suggest one area for improvement, I’d say the dinner options could use some enhancement to match the overall excellence of the stay. A small tip: If your goal is to catch the sunrise and sunset at Golden Summit, you'll need to stay at one of the mountaintop hotels near Jinding. Logistically, getting to these hotels involves taking a bus from Baoguosi or Wuxiangang Station to Leidongping, then a cable car to the upper platform, followed by a roughly one-hour hike with steep steps to Jinding. It's manageable with a backpack, but not ideal with large luggage. That’s why we chose Pure Cloud Hotel for its close proximity to Wuxiangang Bus Station, leaving our luggage there and heading up the mountain with just our backpacks.

GGuest User”Create the wilderness in the south, stay humble and return to the countryside”, the name is full of poetry and picturesqueness, but I went there because of the zero negative reviews. I thought what kind of B&B makes everyone like it so much that I can't bear to leave negative reviews. Stayed for one night and it was a really different experience. Simple, ancient style, ancient charm and a bit of Zen. If you wander around the courtyard for nothing, you will find a lot of ingenuity, such as throwing pots, shooting arrows, teasing the parrot that can only bark but cannot speak, and writing calligraphy; you can also watch Meditate, meditate, relax, and forget the troubles of the world with eyes full of green. In front of the hall, there is a cactus owned by Mr. Gu, who is over 80 years old, and it makes me deeply moved. I ate breakfast while smelling the fragrance of books. It was a really different feeling. The breakfast and dinner were exquisite and rich, and many arrangements surprised you. The staff are friendly and make you feel at home, all in all a pleasant trip.

SSong Pheow RoystonAs usual good clean hotel room with nice decor to rest after a long day. I stayed once in an Orange hotel in Guangzhou , and this one in Chengdu did not disappoint . Cleanliness and decor was top notch . I also like the fact they used cute robots to deliver our delivery food promptly . However, I feel for this Chengdu branch, the front desk staff seems a bit overwhelmed by guests and could do better. My check-in took longer than expected. I also noticed that my wife and mine passport photocopies were left by the front desk counter , which should be kept securely sooner. A group of men were also smoking in the hotel lobby openly even though the nonsmoking signs were there. (I felt the staff should have advised them to smoke outside and enforce the rules as I am concerned for my pregnant wife) That aside, i recommend this hotel .

Very Good
GGuest UserDefinitely worth more than what I paid. The staff were exceptionally well-trained, welcoming, and polite—something I haven’t experienced at other hotels in China. Even the lady at the restaurant, who only spoke Mandarin, was incredibly friendly. The hotel’s location isn’t very close to the metro, but the great service more than made up for it. Breakfast was good—though limited in variety, it was more than adequate. The room was spacious, clean, and filled with essential amenities. I especially appreciated the unlimited supply of drinking water for guests. But it would’ve been even better if there was a small fridge in the room. My only concern was that the hotel shares the building and elevators with other occupants. I occasionally noticed the doors to each floor left open, which raised some safety concerns since it felt like anyone could access the hotel room floors.
