4-Star Hotels in Shanxi, China

This hotel may seem expensive, but it really is worth it. Super clean public areas and super clean rooms. Bright, light and with a large tv (which you can stream from your phone / laptop) , desk, fridge, kettle, etc... The toilet has a bidet feature which is great. The location is opposite street food vendors and Linfen park. There is no noise from them, so don't worry about it. But it is around a 30min walk / 5 min car to the nearest shopping area, so I'll mark it down a little on location. Facilities are great, great laundry room that also has little items like a lint roller, wool pilling remover, color catching sheets etc... are all provided.  The gym has two technogym treadmills and a rowing machine and bike. All great quality but the gym has no weights at all.  But the cardio machines are very high quality.  Service is great. everyone is super attentive and polite.  The bed is high quality and pillows are lovely. USB A and USB C on each side of the bed.  Wifi is very good and fast, I was able to remote play into my PS5 without issue (just use the streaming TV wifi)  There's a separate desk also. The shower and toilet are separated which means one can shower while the other person can still use the toilet. Towels are great too.  There is one issue I found was that the room was too hot and the AC didn't do much, the staff gave me a desk fan which was helpful.  This hotel may seem costly, especially as many other hotels in Linfen have good reviews, but this is my third hotel in Linfen and this hotel is worth it. If you don't care about the weights in gym then you don't need to think about it and book this place. 

The ancient city of Zhangzhou B&B looked at the eyes, and the final selection of Futian Huayu Hot Spring Resort Hotel was indeed a good product. 🍃 Environment ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Song style aesthetic value, modern fashion core. Small outer court koi fat, the front desk cafe is light and luxurious, a little Zen, with a point of book fragrance, very design. 🛎️ Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The hotel sent a message early in the morning, and the video clearly informed the self-driving entrance route. 💁♀️ The young ladies at the service desk are sweet and kind. They will hand in the flower tea when they enter the door, help with luggage, take the initiative, respond promptly to WeChat, and respond quickly to needs. Special praise 👍 💁♂️ Xiaoyan, waiting at the entrance of the hotel early in the morning, directing parking, luggage handling, introducing the highlights of the facilities in the room, warm. We went out to hang out, patiently showed the way, and also helped us take care of the laundry affairs, thoughtful and intimate. 🛏️ Room ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The private soup villa we booked in the ”Yuan” courtyard is very private. 🛁 The hot spring water quality is good, and the water is fast, the pool is full in seven minutes, very relaxing. The space in the room is tall, 2 meters big bed, and the comfort of the bedding is well received. 🥤 Small refrigerator drinks are free and fruit plates are presented. The boss's private mineral water and 🍵 tea and handmade tea set made Cantonese people very happy. 🚿 Bathing equipment is novel and high-quality, meticulously considered, the bathroom space is large, and the shower water output is rapid and smooth. 📍 Geographical location ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The location is excellent, the south gate is a 3-minute drive, the alley is quiet, but it is the center of the ancient city when you go out, and it is very convenient to play and eat.

My stay at Pingyao Juhongyuan Mansion (Part 2) was truly memorable. The hotel’s cleanliness and hygiene were impeccable, creating a comfortable and cozy atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, providing excellent service throughout our visit. The private courtyard was beautifully maintained, adding to the charm of the property. One of the standout features was the hotel’s thoughtful arrangement of transportation services, including a dedicated car for pickups and drop-offs. The rooms were fully equipped with smart technology, ensuring a modern and convenient stay.

Hotel location is very good, parking at the entrance of the south gate is also very convenient, it is convenient to go to the morning market to eat delicious, the service staff are very enthusiastic and give a serious explanation of the play strategy, the room layout is very stylish, the facilities are perfect, very warm and relaxing, the bathroom is very advanced and the bath is very comfortable. The fly in the ointment is that I hope that the ground hygiene will be strengthened. I occasionally see hair silk and some dust under the bed. The air conditioner will blow out when the air conditioner is turned on. The overall feeling and experience are really good! Thanks thanks

We stayed at the Elsewhere North Gate hotel for 1 night during our visit to China from Liverpool, England. Easy to find and walk to from the North Gate entrance of Pingyao. We were able to check in early, and our hosts were very helpful in making us feel welcome and provided advice and recommendations on where to eat and go during our stay. We did the castle walls, my tip is to take some water. The room was modern and clean with plenty of space. Nice hot shower and plenty of free accessories too, which was helpful eg toothbrush and paste, snacks and coffee. The location is about 2 minutes from the main street in Pingyao too. Thanks for our stay.

This time I went to Shanxi for a New Year's Eve trip and passed by Jiexiu. This hotel is very good, not only the location is excellent, but the parking is convenient. The hotel is very new and the facilities are complete. The hotel staff are very enthusiastic, the price during the Spring Festival is very high, the breakfast is also very good 👍

The location is not too bad, it is within a cluster of many newly built homestays. I chose this place for its zen design style and it is newly opened, and i read in thr review that there was free coffee provided during breakfast. Therefore i was rather dissappointed when i found out that there is no such thing, coffee is chargeable. I was glad that i brought my own drip coffee to supplement the breakfast. Although my room was eligible for 2 breakfasts, i was only provided with 1 set of breakfast and not offered any replacement for the other breakfast set that i did not take. The room size is just nice for 1 person with luggage. Bathroom+toilet was quite large in comparison to the bedroom. My room overlook the opposite facility, the window can be opened to let in fresh air. There is washing machine+dryer on the ground floor. The girls at the lobby was nice to help me manage my laundry. I was glad that i could use the large table at the lobby for my work. It is an irony that there is a non smoking signboard in the room together with an ashtray....

The hotel is relatively new and is in a convenient location. It takes 15 minutes to drive to the ancient city and 10 minutes to the museum. There are restaurants, drinks and massages all around... The room is clean, the toilet has no smell, the bedding is comfortable, the drinking water is 4 bottles in the room, and there are supplies in the elevator. The window of the suite on the 7th floor is the opposite building. There is no view and rain. Not hot enough... There are basically seats available for breakfast starting from 730. There are not many vegan varieties and the taste is acceptable... It is convenient to check in and check out. It is good to have whole grain specialties as a gift... There is enough parking space and it is free. You need to scan the QR code. I couldn't scan it a few times. It took some time to manually open it, but overall it was OK.

The whole family came to Mount Wutai together. It was off-season so there were not many tourists. We arrived after 11pm, but there were still many parking spaces at the entrance of the hotel. It was really easy to park. After checking in, the front desk upgraded the room for free. The hotel has no elevator. The front desk guy took the initiative to help carry the suitcase to the second-floor room. Each room has a separate wifi, and the speed is quite fast. The hotel is very close to Shuxiang Temple. Because it is off-season, Shuxiang Temple opens at 8 am in the morning. It is really inconvenient and cold if you don't drive. Next time I come, I will choose a warmer season and I will choose to stay here again.

Excellent hotel! The service was exceptional. The ladies at the reception were amazing. They booked us a taxi for visiting the great Buddhas and they provided us with a breakfast picnic bag when we left too early in the morning. The hotel is situated just a few minutes walk from the old town. Quite handy. There is a free laundry room that we could use for our clothes. Much needed! The buffet breakfast was delightful and varied. Perfect stay!
