Hotel is located conveniently at Tsim Sha Tsui area. There’s many eateries nearby. Keep in mind that this hotel shares the same lobby as Empire Hotel, but Empire Prestige is at the other end of the hotel. Hotel does not provide toothbrush / toothpaste, drinking water etc. There’s a supermarket called ‘Wellcome’ just opposite the street, buy everything you need there and save at least half of your money (comparing buying from 7-11 😉

The experience at Prestige was excellent. The staff, especially Karen, were informative, very helpful, knowledgeable, and extremely courteous. Couldn't ask for better service far away from home. Loved it.

Despite having do not disturb sign on, housekeeping insist of ENTERING MY ROOM while been rejected in the morning. Excuses given was how about me entering to change the towel for you? How about me entering to change the drinking glass for you? This really annoyed me every morning and everyday I’m thinking why do they insist of entering my room everyday? Housekeeping was finally done on DAY 2 of our stay due to the insisting of the housekeeping team. Day 4 , one day before check out. Both the Security Manager and member of the housekeeping team knocked and subsequently entered my room using their master access card without my consent while we were in the room in the afternoon. Their stated reason was ”to check on us” While I fully understand and appreciate the hotel's duty of care regarding guest safety and wellbeing, this level of intrusion was entirely unwarranted. Hotel Staff witnessed us leaving the room daily, confirming our presence and wellbeing, rendering these forced entries completely unnecessary and deeply disturbing. My room is the only room that encountered this issue while all my other colleagues did not. So It feels like I had being “marked” by the hotel as I’m the only one that got special attention. The reason given by the duty manager was out of my mind which I do not wish to disclose here. This level of disregard for basic guest privacy and protocol is unprecedented in my experience.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel I need to share this experience. I was really looking forward to this trip and paid over 5,000 baht for my stay, expecting decent service and a smooth check-in — especially on the first day. Unfortunately, everything started going wrong from the beginning. At check-in, I was told my room was on the 11th floor, but it was actually on the 19th. I don’t understand why I was given the wrong information. Later, I tried to charge my phone using an adapter I brought from Thailand, but it didn’t work properly — possibly due to low voltage. I charged for almost 2 hours and the battery still didn’t go up. I asked the front desk if I could charge my phone there just for a few minutes while waiting for my friend to bring another adapter, but they refused and told me to buy a new one from the vending machine, which was quite expensive. I felt that was very unfair because I had my own equipment. I even brought my adapter down to show them and asked if they could check the electricity in my room. A housekeeper came twice and said the power was working, but still, my phone didn’t charge. I was exhausted from explaining everything again and again. The receptionist asked if I wanted to change rooms, but I was already too tired. All I wanted was to charge my phone. Finally, a kind housekeeper lent me her personal adapter — and I could finally charge my phone. By then, it was already late. I hadn’t eaten and most of the shops nearby were closed. What was supposed to be a relaxing first day turned into a frustrating and disappointing experience For the 5,000+ baht I paid, I honestly don’t think it was worth it. I expected better service from the start.

Absolutely Outstanding Stay! Our experience at the Hong Kong Empire Hotel Wan Chai was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful staff who made us feel welcome and taken care of throughout our stay. The room exceeded all expectations — it was spacious, spotlessly clean, and incredibly quiet. We couldn’t hear any noise from the street or neighboring rooms, which allowed us to fully relax and enjoy a peaceful rest. The bed was extremely comfortable with soft linens that made it hard to get up in the morning! One of the highlights was the breakfast, which truly surprised us in the best way. It was included in the room rate and offered an impressive variety of delicious, high-quality options — plentiful, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. We left feeling completely refreshed and very happy with our stay. We will definitely be returning on our next visit to Hong Kong. Highly recommended!

What a great clean hotel! The staff also spoke English which was very nice! The staff there was extremely accommodating and very kid friendly. Everything was provided for our little traveler from a bath tub, crib, and even toiletries. I would say the only down side is the gym was small but I guess that’s par for the course in Hong Kong. The bed was very very comfortable. Our baby loved it as you can see from the picture. Great hotel. Great service. And better value.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Eaton Hotel Hong Kong, and it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, attentive, and professional, making check-in smooth and welcoming. The hotel's design is modern with a creative, artsy vibe that gives it a unique character, especially the communal spaces and co-working areas. My room was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed with everything I needed – fast Wi-Fi, a cozy bed, and a great view of Nathan Road. I especially appreciated the eco-friendly touches and the calming atmosphere after a day of exploring the city. The hotel’s location in Jordan is perfect – just a short walk from the MTR, Temple Street Night Market, and many delicious local eateries. I also enjoyed the rooftop pool and the wellness center, which added a relaxing touch to my stay. What really stood out was Eaton’s focus on community and culture. The live music, film screenings, and art exhibitions brought the place to life and made it more than just a hotel – it felt like a creative hub. I would highly recommend Eaton Hotel Hong Kong to travelers looking for comfort, convenience, and a truly memorable experience in the heart of the city.

My regular hotel when I visit HK. Nice location as it’s only 7mins walk to Olympic MTR station and there are a lot of eateries around the place. The hotel provide free shuttle to the nearby shopping mall, MTR, Wong Kok etc. The hotel room is decent and the bed is very comfortable. The hot shower pressure is strong and it’s so nice after a full day of walking outside.

HHark ManOnce if you take the chance to walk around its neighborhood then you will find It has very easy access to Victoria Park , Pattersons Street, Sogo department store - all within 10 minutes walk. Room size is acceptable for HK standard: adequate space to place/store your belongings! Higher level had much lovely views of city views ! Only complaint is the elevator is bit slow and the going down direction escalator was out of the order during our 5 days stay.

GGuest UserI’d not say that the hotel is the best, but it’s nice. I had everything what I needed, but the AC was very noisy in my room. The beautiful sea view made me happy. Morning breakfast was nice and delicious. Unfortunately, the restaurant stops serving dinner very early. So, I enjoyed tasting food somewhere else. I’ve liked walking by the beach, watch some animals and hear birds singing. It’s a very peaceful and relaxing area. There’re many cafes, bars, shops and restaurants. I’ve just had one night, but I could take a rest.

SSwelamWe really loved our stay at Grand Bay View Hotel — the views were stunning and the rooms were clean and comfortable. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy our trip. However, the only downside was that the staff felt mostly absent during our stay, which made it a bit hard to get support when needed. Overall, still a great spot if you're looking for a peaceful and scenic escape.

EEdiGThe hotel positions itself as a 4-star establishment, but it falls short of that mark. Here's a breakdown of my experience: Location: The location is excellent, if you don't mind a steep uphill walk. However, the entire island is built on different levels, which isn't a negative but rather a positive – a daily workout! There's a bus stop right by the hotel, making it easy to reach the metro instead of walking up and down, straining your leg muscles. Next door is a botanical and zoological garden where you can take a stroll. By the way, entry is free. A 10-minute walk down the hill leads to the cable car ”tram” stop for a trip to Victoria Peak. Check-in: Check-in was fast, but a USD 300 deposit is required, which isn't mentioned on either the trip.com website or the hotel's website. If you need an adapter for your electronic devices, ask for one right away – the receptionist won't offer it. Room: The room is relatively clean, though I did find some hair in the kitchen and on the bedding. For Hong Kong, the room is spacious, but there's nowhere to store a suitcase. You can set the temperature on the air conditioner, but it doesn't work. It only blows cold air, making the room humid. Kitchen: The kitchen is minimally equipped, but it's sufficient. However, upon check-in, they warn you that the stove can only be used for reheating food, not cooking, as the fire alarm system is very sensitive and might activate the siren due to hot steam. You must turn on the exhaust fan to full power and the air conditioner to avoid triggering the alarm. Why bother having a kitchen at all? Bathroom: The same situation as with the kitchen – you need to close the door and turn on the air conditioner at full power while showering to avoid the fire alarm being triggered by steam from the bathroom. The shower hose started leaking on the second day of my stay. It was replaced with a new one, which also leaked. When the technician replaced the hose, did he check if the equipment was working properly? I doubt it. Breakfast: Breakfast is only served from a menu, which is quite limited. It's delicious, but not diverse. Is this the service you'd expect from a 4-star hotel? The breakfast organization is chaotic – staff running around and clanging dishes. Two slow coffee machines and one toaster keep guests waiting in line. By the way, there are plastic mugs for tea and coffee. The only fruit options are two types of apples – red and green. Service: The service is polite, but I'd say it's ”on demand.” You need to ask for shampoo, shower gel, and dishwashing liquid to be refilled. The housekeeping, for some reason, doesn't notice the need to replenish hygiene products in the bathroom and kitchen. Environmentalism: As in all of Hong Kong, they no longer provide water in plastic bottles. That's good, but come up with an alternative so guests don't have to go to the store for water. In my opinion, this environmental concern is simply an opportunity to reduce service costs while maintaining high accommodation prices. Speaking of breakfast again, the jam and butter are provided in small plastic containers, just like on airplanes. Is this really about caring for the environment? Conclusion: Overall, it's a good choice if you're not bothered by the minor service inconsistencies and if you don't have high expectations for a 4-star hotel. If you're visiting Hong Kong, I'd recommend Two MacDonell Road.

KKathyThe hotel has a perfect location near the airport, which made travel very convenient. The accommodation includes airport pick-up and drop-off, which was a great bonus. However, the room was quite small for two people, especially with a lot of luggage — it felt cramped. We had dinner at the restaurant near the lobby but found it to be significantly overpriced. Additionally, amenities like the rooftop and pool closed early, so we weren’t able to enjoy them after dinner. Overall, it is a convenient stay but with some drawbacks.

JJonathanThe Mongkok Holiday Inn Express is a short walk down Dundas Street from the Yau Ma Tei metro -- f you have heavy suitcases, you are better off getting a taxi from the Kowloon Airport Express station. I moved here because the prices at the Golden Mile Holiday Inn were climbing through the roof over Christmas, and the Mongkok Holiday Inn was almost half the price. Very friendly and accommodating staff, who looked after my luggage through several comings and goings, saving me almost another £100 on storage fees. Breakfast is a choice from a set menu rather than a buffet, but it was nice enough. I'll definitely stay here again.... in fact, I will stay here again the day after tomorrow!
