The room is small (also very small bathroom space) and everything is very clean, came with amenities like slippers, toothbrush etc. The bed and blankets are comfortable. The temperature control works well. The hotel provided a free shuttle bus to and from the international airport making it a convenient place to stay for my overnight transit purpose. You can refill water from the hallway at every floor. Overall I had a good 1 night stay.

It's good to see that the renovation project has just commenced after 3 decades in operation. It was uneasy to have the complementary breakfast alone at this time for a big crowd of tourists from a certain great Asian country bearing 5 bright yellow stars during summer vacation, lucky that the queue time wasn't long and it's well appreciated for the quick response and risk management skills among the restaurant staff. The table of mine was occupied by another company of that nation with their food and room key even with my backpack placed on the chair! Lucky that the staff team had managed to arrange another table for me, more approximate to the food area and a better view of the riverside. Thank you for everyone to bring up a brilliant morning!

I am currently pregnant and came back to Hong Kong to visit family before giving birth. The hotel staff is very accommodating and considerate, they upgraded me to a hardwood floor room for better safety. The room is much bigger than a normal hk hotel room. Room services are available everyday and the cleaning ladies are very nice. The environment is quiet and convenient, as there’s lots of restaurants just right downstairs in the shopping mall. Delivery is also available and can be picked up at the hotel 24 hours reception. I extended my stay 3 times 6+7+3 nights. Recommended

I stayed at Ramada Grand View in North Point and found it decent for a budget-friendly option. The location is very convenient—close to the MTR, tram, and local eateries. The room was surprisingly spacious for Hong Kong, which was a plus. However, cleanliness needs improvement. The carpet felt old, the bathroom had a musty smell, and the bed was very firm—too uncomfortable for my taste. The hotel is also quite dated and could use a renovation. Overall, it’s a practical choice if you’re prioritizing location and cost, but don’t expect luxury. I might stay again, but only if I need something affordable in the area.

The place is very clean, quite and the staff are very accomodating. The bed is so good and comfortable. I highly recommended this place and this is one of my #1 choice of stay. Away from crowds, busy and noisy surroundings. The public transport is very accessible and there is a public market nearby which you can buy and cook your own food at the hotel , Mc'Dies and other restaurant are just around the corner. The hotel is near to Aberdeen and Ocean Park and even if you want to go to the beach, there is a bus stop near the hotel that you can hop in to go to deep water bay, repulse bay going down to stanley. There is also buses going to central and causeay bay and on the other side of the road are the buses going to the airport and macau ferry. The nearest MTR stn from the hotel is Wong Chuk Hang Stn.

The room is big and the bathroom is ok. The view was unmatched! I asked for a room away from the elevator and luckily could see the marina. Breakfast is good and varied, location is great. Nothing stood out in particular but i would recommend it. We stayed during a typhoon T10 and would’ve liked the hotel to make more recommendations to the guests, who are probably not used to experiencing this type of weather. I would’ve felt safer if some instructions on safety precautions or evacuation were left in the rooms.

It was a pleasant stay. Good location, easy access to transportation. Close to water front so we can enjoy morning walk and enjoy the view. Room was nice, good for value for room size. Service was pleasant, room service frequently provided what we needed without being asked repeatedly. Hopefully next stay we can get room with view to the sea.

First time staying here - the room is decent and clean. The bathroom is more spacious than average 4 star hotel. There are tables and a sofa which not a lot of 4 star hotel will provide. And the best part of my stay is the bed. It is the most comfortable bed I’ve slept by far among all the 4 star hotels I lived in. Overall speaking, trip ranked this as top 20 4-star hotel and I think this speaks for itself. A bit sad that the swimming pool is closed due to renovation. But amenities are great, there are gym room, swimming pool and even massage service.

HHark ManOnce if you take the chance to walk around its neighborhood then you will find It has very easy access to Victoria Park , Pattersons Street, Sogo department store - all within 10 minutes walk. Room size is acceptable for HK standard: adequate space to place/store your belongings! Higher level had much lovely views of city views ! Only complaint is the elevator is bit slow and the going down direction escalator was out of the order during our 5 days stay.

AalccitronThe room was very spacious. The location is in between two towns, which wasn't ideal given the day I was there was a typhoon day. View from the room is nice. It seems to be a good option for a long-term stay, less so for a place to crash overnight. Breakfast was expensive and not so tasty, but given it was typhoon I could have either that or stay hungry. But otherwise all is fine with the place.

EEdiGThe hotel positions itself as a 4-star establishment, but it falls short of that mark. Here's a breakdown of my experience: Location: The location is excellent, if you don't mind a steep uphill walk. However, the entire island is built on different levels, which isn't a negative but rather a positive – a daily workout! There's a bus stop right by the hotel, making it easy to reach the metro instead of walking up and down, straining your leg muscles. Next door is a botanical and zoological garden where you can take a stroll. By the way, entry is free. A 10-minute walk down the hill leads to the cable car ”tram” stop for a trip to Victoria Peak. Check-in: Check-in was fast, but a USD 300 deposit is required, which isn't mentioned on either the trip.com website or the hotel's website. If you need an adapter for your electronic devices, ask for one right away – the receptionist won't offer it. Room: The room is relatively clean, though I did find some hair in the kitchen and on the bedding. For Hong Kong, the room is spacious, but there's nowhere to store a suitcase. You can set the temperature on the air conditioner, but it doesn't work. It only blows cold air, making the room humid. Kitchen: The kitchen is minimally equipped, but it's sufficient. However, upon check-in, they warn you that the stove can only be used for reheating food, not cooking, as the fire alarm system is very sensitive and might activate the siren due to hot steam. You must turn on the exhaust fan to full power and the air conditioner to avoid triggering the alarm. Why bother having a kitchen at all? Bathroom: The same situation as with the kitchen – you need to close the door and turn on the air conditioner at full power while showering to avoid the fire alarm being triggered by steam from the bathroom. The shower hose started leaking on the second day of my stay. It was replaced with a new one, which also leaked. When the technician replaced the hose, did he check if the equipment was working properly? I doubt it. Breakfast: Breakfast is only served from a menu, which is quite limited. It's delicious, but not diverse. Is this the service you'd expect from a 4-star hotel? The breakfast organization is chaotic – staff running around and clanging dishes. Two slow coffee machines and one toaster keep guests waiting in line. By the way, there are plastic mugs for tea and coffee. The only fruit options are two types of apples – red and green. Service: The service is polite, but I'd say it's ”on demand.” You need to ask for shampoo, shower gel, and dishwashing liquid to be refilled. The housekeeping, for some reason, doesn't notice the need to replenish hygiene products in the bathroom and kitchen. Environmentalism: As in all of Hong Kong, they no longer provide water in plastic bottles. That's good, but come up with an alternative so guests don't have to go to the store for water. In my opinion, this environmental concern is simply an opportunity to reduce service costs while maintaining high accommodation prices. Speaking of breakfast again, the jam and butter are provided in small plastic containers, just like on airplanes. Is this really about caring for the environment? Conclusion: Overall, it's a good choice if you're not bothered by the minor service inconsistencies and if you don't have high expectations for a 4-star hotel. If you're visiting Hong Kong, I'd recommend Two MacDonell Road.

CCoconut331It’s a nice and clean hotel, it’s slightly cheaper than the average price of 4-star hotels so it’s a choice for travellers who doesn’t want to live in 3-star hotels but at limited budget. The room is a bit smaller than average, but at such price I won’t be unhappy about it. And it even came with free morning refreshments! However, the water speed from the shower is very slow. And thank god the water is still hot - It’s still barely sufficient for me to get a shower but that would be one thing that I hope the hotel could improve on. Overall speaking it’s not perfect, but undoubtedly great for its price, highly recommended for ppl travelling on a relatively tight budget.

JJonathanThe Mongkok Holiday Inn Express is a short walk down Dundas Street from the Yau Ma Tei metro -- f you have heavy suitcases, you are better off getting a taxi from the Kowloon Airport Express station. I moved here because the prices at the Golden Mile Holiday Inn were climbing through the roof over Christmas, and the Mongkok Holiday Inn was almost half the price. Very friendly and accommodating staff, who looked after my luggage through several comings and goings, saving me almost another £100 on storage fees. Breakfast is a choice from a set menu rather than a buffet, but it was nice enough. I'll definitely stay here again.... in fact, I will stay here again the day after tomorrow!

GGuest UserThis is my 4th stay in a room on the 39th floor. Everything was fine before. Unfortunately, this time I had to spend a lot of time and nerves, which was not part of my plans. The pool on the 39th floor next to the room was used by a homeless person to spend the night. In addition, he smoked, shook ashes into the pool, and drank alcohol. All this happened on the only sun lounger. This is only what I saw passing by in the evening and at night. Unfortunately, the staff could not solve the problem the first time I asked and I had to ask for help at least 5 times. In the end, they offered me to act as a surveillance camera and if a homeless person appears, to inform them. Thank you very much. Of course, I understand the mentality of people in Hong Kong, but in China, I can hardly even imagine such a situation. I strongly advise against using this pool and staying on the top floor due to a serious security breach. Anyone from the street can enter your territory, since it is separated only by a low partition. My things were not in the room, but after entering the door. Unfortunately, after leaving, I discovered that a bottle of perfume was missing. The money and documents were in the safe, everything was fine with them. I think this is due to this person entering my territory. I closed the door to the room at night and the balcony. Perhaps this saved my valuables. In the middle of my vacation, I found a huge cockroach in the bathroom. It was really gigantic. Thanks to the cleaning service. They were able to catch it and take it away. I hope the hotel management will take appropriate measures to ensure the safety of guests. Therefore, I will not give a bad rating to my favorite chain. I usually don't write reviews about hotels. And in such detail. But this time my wife made me write. She serves in the police and is very attentive to security issues. She said that she was very worried about having a stranger nearby. I think this is an exaggeration. She was probably offended that she was not congratulated on her birthday in this hotel, as she is used to in other hotels with a card or a compliment. She just happened to have a birthday when she checked in 😁😁😁
